There ya go, the standard reformed preterist answer, "Symbolism" being drawn down to the (Two Witnesses) being the New Testament church Jew/Gentile?

Your "Symbolic"explanation is standard reformed theology, and it's 100% "Wrong"
LOL. So, just go ahead and stick with following after standard dispensationalist theology that takes a highly symbolic book as literally as possible then. It's a poor choice, but if that's what you want to do, so be it.

And I see that you have once again not addressed why the two witnesses are called two candlesticks. I can't take you seriously unless you do that.

IMHO the (Two Witnesses) are called candlestick(s) who will be living physical prophets that have bodies that die and raised from the dead, they'll be representatives of the living Church on earth standing against (The Beast) and his evil kingdom, their power comes from God on high

(The Beast) will be a future living evil human man who will proclaim to be God in Jerusalem, you deny this biblical fact

(The Two Witnesses) will be prophets that have literal physical bodies that die, and their bodies will be raised from the dead before a literal world watching, you deny this biblical fact

Conclusion: You're not going to take the "Literal" details of Rev Chap 11 below and sweep all the detailed information under the carpet without mention, it's that simple

Break out your symbolic magical wand and bag of tricks, please give your "Symbolic" interpretation for the 6 items below, we're not sweeping this under the carpet, don't run off in diversion, a direct response to 6 items, waiting?

(Future, Literal Events)

1. Power over all plagues?
2. Their Dead Bodies?
3. Street of the great city where Jesus was crucified?
4. A world watching their death, exchanging gifts in celebration?
5. Their dead bodies being raised, standing on their feet, ascending to heaven before a literal world watching?
6. Great earthquake, 1/10 of the city fell, seven thousand die?

Revelation 11:3-18KJV
3 And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth.
4 These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks standing before the God of the earth.
5 And if any man will hurt them, fire proceedeth out of their mouth, and devoureth their enemies: and if any man will hurt them, he must in this manner be killed.
6 These have power to shut heaven, that it rain not in the days of their prophecy: and have power over waters to turn them to blood, and to smite the earth with all plagues, as often as they will.
7 And when they shall have finished their testimony, the beast that ascendeth out of the bottomless pit shall make war against them, and shall overcome them, and kill them.
8 And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified.
9 And they of the people and kindreds and tongues and nations shall see their dead bodies three days and an half, and shall not suffer their dead bodies to be put in graves.
10 And they that dwell upon the earth shall rejoice over them, and make merry, and shall send gifts one to another; because these two prophets tormented them that dwelt on the earth.
11 And after three days and an half the spirit of life from God entered into them, and they stood upon their feet; and great fear fell upon them which saw them.
12 And they heard a great voice from heaven saying unto them, Come up hither. And they ascended up to heaven in a cloud; and their enemies beheld them.
13 And the same hour was there a great earthquake, and the tenth part of the city fell, and in the earthquake were slain of men seven thousand: and the remnant were affrighted, and gave glory to the God of heaven.
14 The second woe is past; and, behold, the third woe cometh quickly.
15 And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever.
16 And the four and twenty elders, which sat before God on their seats, fell upon their faces, and worshipped God,
17 Saying, We give thee thanks, O Lord God Almighty, which art, and wast, and art to come; because thou hast taken to thee thy great power, and hast reigned.
18 And the nations were angry, and thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that thou shouldest give reward unto thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear thy name, small and great; and shouldest destroy them which destroy the earth.

The two witnesses in Rev 11 are two churches AND two anointed prophets so two prophets cannot be the two olive trees and two churches. The two olive trees feed oil/truth to the two churches/oil lamps. They cannot be both nor can they be Jesus and John for all the numerous reasons everyone has provided.
Lol! In all the world and for all time, no one has ever been born HAVING the Holy Spirit of God BEFORE their physical birth, EXCEPT John the Baptist and the Lord Jesus.
In other words, there has never been anyone more "anointed" than those two.
Edit:
I am sorry that you didn't understand the scriptures I listed, for some of the reasons of why they were sent by God.

That's correct! The two olive trees are the two prophets. The two candlesticks are the church under the OLD covenant, through Moses (the symbolic 144,000 of Israel), and the NEW covenant church through Jesus (the great multitude, consisting of converted Jews and Gentiles).

Then name the two churches that you are evidently choosing from the seven in Rev.

It is sad that you do not know that Jesus was WITH that church, when Israel was in the wilderness.
Acts 7
37 This is that Moses, which said unto the children of Israel, A prophet shall the Lord your God raise up unto you of your brethren, like unto me; him shall ye hear.

38 This is he [Jesus], that was in the church in the wilderness WITH the angel which spake to him [Moses] in the mount Sina, and with our fathers: who received the lively oracles to give unto us:

By the way, who was that pillar of fire that gave Israel light at night to travel?? Exodus. 13:22
The same who was in the burning bush!!

Nope.

through Moses (the symbolic 144,000 of Israel), and the NEW covenant church through Jesus (the great multitude, consisting of converted Jews and Gentiles).

The 144k are Christian Israelites. The two churches in Rev 11 are not OT churches or related to Moses etc.

It should be obvious which two.

I will jump in here and answer the questions. The Two Witnesses are the faithful witnesses of the New Testament congregation (Elects) with power to preach Salvation Gospel, as well as judgments as often as they like:

(Future, Literal Events)

No, the faithful testimony started at Pentecost until the judgment of the unfaithful congregation prior to the Second Coming. It is the whole New Testament period where Faithful Witnesses went into the world with a testimony. Here are my answers:

1. Power over all plagues?

The Faithful Witnesses exercise this authority by proclaiming God’s Word and praying according to His will, just like Elijah did (James 5:17–18). God executes the judgment they declare.

What does that judgment look like upon those who harm them? Spiritual famine: they lose the opporunity to hear of God’s truth (Amos 8:11) of they threat the faithful Witnesses with death. There are many incidents in Church History all over the world for the past 2,000 years. Waters becoming blood: their congregation’s teaching becomes polluted, bringing death rather than life. The truth they reject stands against them in judgment.

The fire from the witnesses’ mouths illustrates the same principle: “I will make my words in thy mouth fire, and this people wood” (Jeremiah 5:14). Their persecutors may appear comfortable outwardly while coming under devastating spiritual judgment.
“As often as they will” means their will agrees with God’s will. Their authority comes from faithfully declaring His Word, whose judgments God carries out—not from choosing personal revenge.

Throughout the Church’s history, whenever a congregation persecutes and silences faithful witnesses, it rejects the gospel they bring. God judges that congregation by withdrawing the truth it despises, leaving its people under false teaching—a famine of hearing God’s Word (Amos 8:11–12).

Thus, the witnesses’ testimony brings judgment repeatedly wherever it is rejected. The same gospel brings life to those receiving it and becomes a testimony of death against those rejecting it (2 Corinthians 2:15–16). The persecuted Church bears witness; God executes judgment upon the persecuting congregation.

Selah!

2. Their Dead Bodies?

Their testimony for the purpose for salvation has been silenced within the fallen congregation. That is when their testimony is finished, the beast will come out and eventually kill (silence) them.

3. Street of the great city where Jesus was crucified?

Jerusalem, on this side of the Cross, represents the covenant congregation—the church. Here she has become apostate, hence her spiritual names, “Sodom and Egypt” (Revelation 11:8; Matthew 23:37–38). Once a place where God’s truth was proclaimed, she has become a house of abominations and spiritual bondage.

The street represents the public setting within the congregation where the witnesses proclaimed God’s Word. Their dead bodies signify that their faithful testimony has been silenced. The people no longer hear the truth they brought; instead, they delight in the false doctrines proclaimed by false prophets and false christs.

4. A world watching their death, exchanging gifts in celebration?

The unsaved within the church rejoice when faithful testimony is silenced because it exposes their sins. Just as the wise men brought gifts to honor Jesus as King (Matthew 2:11), exchanging gifts here signifies honor and approval. These professing Christians celebrate one another and honor their false prophets and false christs, seeking praise from men rather than the honor that comes from God (John 5:44).

This is why, in Revelation 9, God will allow the false prophets and christs (spiritually as locusts) to harm those men who have not yet seal by God in the congregation so they will believe a lie as a judgment. This explains why God has to seal his people FIRST before the loosening of the beast/locusts from the bottomless pit. Selah!

5. Their dead bodies being raised, standing on their feet, ascending to heaven before a literal world watching?

Rise from what death? Neither physical death nor spiritual death—the witnesses are already saved and sealed. Their rising signifies the restoration of their silenced testimony. God empowers them to prophesy again, now declaring His judgment against the unfaithful congregation.

He calls them out so they will not share in her judgments (Revelation 18:4), just as He brought Lot out of Sodom. Remember, this city is spiritually called Sodom and Egypt. He who has ears, let him hear.

Yes, they ascend “to heaven in a cloud,” but I understand this as spiritual imagery, not the final rapture. God calls them out of the fallen congregation into fellowship with Him; the cloud signifies His glorious presence.

Where can that fellowship continue? In a home, a faithful Bible study at McDonald’s, or believers gathering at a library or campground. God’s presence is with His people wherever they gather in Christ’s name (Matthew 18:20).

They remain faithful through this short season of judgment upon the harlot. The final gathering to Christ comes afterward, at the last trumpet (Revelation 11:15; 1 Corinthians 15:52).

6. Great earthquake, 1/10 of the city fell, seven thousand die?

The earthquake signifies spiritual judgment. The fallen tenth represents the fullness of congregation’s fall and the loss of her standing as the earthly representative of God’s kingdom, just as Old Testament congregation was left desolate at the Cross.

The seven thousand signify the completeness of those judged within that fallen congregation—professing Christians who lack God’s seal. I connect this with Revelation 9:4–6: they seek death but cannot find it. In this interpretation, they cannot find salvation through dying with Christ; they remain under judgment.

The remnant are the faithful witnesses, who fear God and glorify Him for avenging their testimony against their persecutors. Given spiritual discernment, they recognize and proclaim the judgment falling upon Babylon the Great—the unfaithful church throughout the world—whose judgment comes in “one hour” (Revelation 18:10). Remember, they recognize the abomination of desolation in apostate church is because they were given the "spirit of life" in order to discern the signs of Christ's return.

I believe this judgment is unfolding now. Look at the spiritual condition of churches throughout the world. Do you have eyes to see it?

Or are you so busy preparing to escape a seven-year bloodbath through the rapture that you refuse to recognize the spiritual corruption in your own church—and the church next door, and the next? And you believe that the two literal fire-breathing men will someday appear to protect the Jews of National Israel during the tribulation, humm?

Selah!

Your "Private Interpretation" in symbolic allegory of the literal seen in Rev 11:3-18 below is "Laughable" and that's a "Big Understatement"!

Just as the scripture clearly teaches, the two witnesses/prophets will bring literal plagues in torment upon this literal world Rev 16:1-11, they will have literal physical bodies that die, and they will lay dead in a literal Jerusalem street, a literal world will celebrate their deaths exchanging gifts, their dead bodies will be raised by God's spirit of life, they will stand upon their feet and ascend into heaven as a literal world watches (Literal/Future/Unfulfilled)

That is not proof that they are the two propphets of Rev 11. They CANNOT be because of the MANY reasons you have been provided. It is a closed case.

I see that you were NOT "attentive" to the scriptures I posted in #438:
"3. The TWO last prophets of God, in "these last days"', as spoken of in Deut. 18:15; Malachi 4:5; Acts 2:17; Heb. 1:2. and Luke 7:28- (be attentive to Jesus' words: "but he that is least in the kingdom of God is greater than he")."

So then, let's try again.....
Luke 7
26 But what went ye out for to see? A prophet? Yea, I say unto you, and much more than a prophet.

27 This is he, of whom it is written [Malachi 3:1], Behold, I send MY MESSENGER [aka, my anointed one] before thy [Jesus'] face, which shall prepare thy way before thee.

28 For I say unto you, Among those that are born of women there is NOT a greater prophet than John the Baptist:
but he that is LEAST in the kingdom of God is GREATER than he [John].

When Jesus said: "he that is least in the KoG, is greater than John the Baptist", who was Jesus pointing to as being the least?
And also, WHEN did the "last days" begin?
(Acts 2:17; Heb. 1:2).

Until YOU ALL understand that Malachi 4:5 has been completely fulfilled, NONE will ever understand anything about the Two witnesses described in Rev. 11.

No, Malachi 4:5 has not been fulfilled yet. Elijah will be one of the two witnesses.

Malachi 4:5 Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the LORD:

Malachi 4:5 Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the LORD:

False. Clearly you and Earburner did not read Scripture carefully.

Jesus identified John the Baptist as the “Elijah” promised in Malachi 4:5. This means John fulfilled Elijah’s prophetic role, rather than being Elijah "physically returned."

Malachi foretold:

“Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the LORD.”
— Malachi 4:5

Notice how Scripture explains this:
  • Luke 1:17: John would go before the Lord “in the spirit and power of Elias” and turn the hearts of fathers to children—directly connecting his ministry to Malachi 4:6.
  • Matthew 11:14: Jesus said of John, “And if ye will receive it, this is Elias, which was for to come.”
  • Matthew 17:12–13: Jesus said Elijah had already come, and the disciples understood that He was speaking about John the Baptist.
That also explains why John answered “I am not” when asked whether he was Elijah in John 1:21. He was not literally the ancient prophet Elijah; he was John, sent to minister in Elijah’s spirit and power.

And you have the timing of the “day of the LORD” wrong.
You assume Malachi 4:5 must refer to the final judgment at Christ’s Second Coming. Yet Jesus identified the promised Elijah as John the Baptist, placing that fulfillment within the days of John’s and Christ’s earthly ministries.

My point is that this was a day of judgment upon the Old Testament congregation. John was beheaded, Christ was crucified, and judgment came upon the unfaithful congregation. Jesus declared, “The kingdom of God shall be taken from you, and given to a nation bringing forth the fruits thereof” (Matthew 21:43).

I understand the same pattern to apply to the New Testament congregation before the Second Coming: the unfaithful church rejects the testimony of Christ’s faithful witnesses and comes under judgment. Revelation 11 describes the beast overcoming and killing those witnesses, while 1 Peter 4:17 declares that judgment begins at the house of God.

You cannot simply assume that every reference to the “day of the LORD” describes the same moment, in the end-time. You must establish its timing and application from Scripture.

Selah!

IMHO the (Two Witnesses) are called candlestick(s) who will be living physical prophets that have bodies that die and raised from the dead, they'll be representatives of the living Church on earth standing against (The Beast) and his evil kingdom, their power comes from God on high
I already know what you believe. I'm asking you why. Why are they called two candlesticks, keeping in mind that candlesticks represent churches in the book of Revelation (Rev 1:20)? You are trying to say the candlesticks represent individuals in Revelation 11, which would mean that John was not consistent with his use of terms.

LOL! Yes, go ahead and continue interpreting the most highly symbolic book in the entire Bible as literally as possible if you wish. It's foolish, but I can't stop you. How you ever concluded that the "thousand years" is symbolic is beyond me.

No, Malachi 4:5 has not been fulfilled yet. Elijah will be one of the two witnesses.

Malachi 4:5 Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the LORD:
So, you apparently don't trust the Jesus knew what He was talking about.

Matthew 11:11 11 “Assuredly, I say to you, among those born of women there has not risen one greater than John the Baptist; but he who is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he. 12 And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffers violence, and the violent take it by force. 13 For all the prophets and the law prophesied until John. 14 And if you are willing to receive it, he is Elijah who is to come. 15 He who has ears to hear, let him hear!

Do you have ears to hear, Douggg?

Matthew 17:10 And His disciples asked Him, saying, “Why then do the scribes say that Elijah must come first?” 11 Jesus answered and said to them, “Indeed, Elijah is coming first and will restore all things. 12 But I say to you that Elijah has come already, and they did not know him but did to him whatever they wished. Likewise the Son of Man is also about to suffer at their hands.” 13 Then the disciples understood that He spoke to them of John the Baptist.

The disciples understood that Jesus was talking about John the Baptist when He said that Elijah had come already. Why don't you understand that?

Revelation 11:5 And if any man will hurt them, fire proceedeth out of their mouth, and devoureth their enemies: and if any man will hurt them, he must in this manner be killed.

To be consistent, you must believe that these two imaginary individuals will literally have fire coming out of their mouths that will kill anyone who comes against them.

@Earburner

The Jews of Judaism are looking for the return of Elijah to anoint the messiah the King of Israel.

The Jews of Judaism will mistake the Antichrist person as being their messiah. So, the question is who is going to appear to them to be Elijah the prophet.

Let us recall when Elijah was battling the prophets of Baal, Elijah the prophet called fire down from heaven. (you can read about in 1Kings18:38, that after even soaking an altar with water all over the place where a bull was cut up to be burnt as a sacrifice, that Elijah called down fire from heaven, and consumed the sacrifice.)

Now, let's look at what the false prophet in Revelation 13 does.

Revelation 13:13 And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men,

So, because the false prophet will be able to call fire down from heaven like Elijah did, what is going happen is that the Jews of Judaism are going initially think that the false prophet person is the embodiment of Elijah.

And it will be the false prophet who anoints the Antichrist person as the King of Israel.

Once Again, You've Clearly Been Answered

IMHO the (Two Witnesses) are called candlestick(s) who will be living physical prophets that have bodies that die and raised from the dead, they'll be representatives of the living Church on earth standing against (The Beast) and his evil kingdom, their power comes from God on high

LOL.
(Literal Words Of Fire Called From Heaven By Elijah's Mouth, Literal Fire That Consumed Literal Samarians Upon This Literal Earth)

Jesus Is The Lord

Revelation 11:5KJV
5 And if any man will hurt them, fire proceedeth out of their mouth, and devoureth their enemies: and if any man will hurt them, he must in this manner be killed.

2 Kings 1:1-18KJV
1 Then Moab rebelled against Israel after the death of Ahab.
2 And Ahaziah fell down through a lattice in his upper chamber that was in Samaria, and was sick: and he sent messengers, and said unto them, Go, enquire of Baalzebub the god of Ekron whether I shall recover of this disease.
3 But the angel of the Lord said to Elijah the Tishbite, Arise, go up to meet the messengers of the king of Samaria, and say unto them, Is it not because there is not a God in Israel, that ye go to enquire of Baalzebub the god of Ekron?
4 Now therefore thus saith the Lord, Thou shalt not come down from that bed on which thou art gone up, but shalt surely die. And Elijah departed.
5 And when the messengers turned back unto him, he said unto them, Why are ye now turned back?
6 And they said unto him, There came a man up to meet us, and said unto us, Go, turn again unto the king that sent you, and say unto him, Thus saith the Lord, Is it not because there is not a God in Israel, that thou sendest to enquire of Baalzebub the god of Ekron? therefore thou shalt not come down from that bed on which thou art gone up, but shalt surely die.
7 And he said unto them, What manner of man was he which came up to meet you, and told you these words?
8 And they answered him, He was an hairy man, and girt with a girdle of leather about his loins. And he said, It is Elijah the Tishbite.
9 Then the king sent unto him a captain of fifty with his fifty. And he went up to him: and, behold, he sat on the top of an hill. And he spake unto him, Thou man of God, the king hath said, Come down.
10 And Elijah answered and said to the captain of fifty, If I be a man of God, then let fire come down from heaven, and consume thee and thy fifty. And there came down fire from heaven, and consumed him and his fifty.
11 Again also he sent unto him another captain of fifty with his fifty. And he answered and said unto him, O man of God, thus hath the king said, Come down quickly.
12 And Elijah answered and said unto them, If I be a man of God, let fire come down from heaven, and consume thee and thy fifty. And the fire of God came down from heaven, and consumed him and his fifty.
13 And he sent again a captain of the third fifty with his fifty. And the third captain of fifty went up, and came and fell on his knees before Elijah, and besought him, and said unto him, O man of God, I pray thee, let my life, and the life of these fifty thy servants, be precious in thy sight.
14 Behold, there came fire down from heaven, and burnt up the two captains of the former fifties with their fifties: therefore let my life now be precious in thy sight.
15 And the angel of the Lord said unto Elijah, Go down with him: be not afraid of him. And he arose, and went down with him unto the king.
16 And he said unto him, Thus saith the Lord, Forasmuch as thou hast sent messengers to enquire of Baalzebub the god of Ekron, is it not because there is no God in Israel to enquire of his word? therefore thou shalt not come down off that bed on which thou art gone up, but shalt surely die.
17 So he died according to the word of the Lord which Elijah had spoken. And Jehoram reigned in his stead in the second year of Jehoram the son of Jehoshaphat king of Judah; because he had no son.
18 Now the rest of the acts of Ahaziah which he did, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Israel?

You're just stating what you believe. That's not an answer as to why you believe that. In the book of Revelation candlesticks symbolically represent churches, not individuals (Revelation 1:20). Why are you trying to make it as if John wasn't consistent with how he used that term?
