A bombshell interview with acclaimed Palestinian journalist Motaz Azaiza shows why you can’t trust almost any reporting on Hamas, Israel’s war in Gaza, or the basic facts of life under the terror group.

Azaiza has been feted by topline news outlets from CNN to CBS to The Guardian, named GQ’s 2023 Middle East Man of the Year, and cheered by the likes of YouTube sensation Ms. Rachel, Mayor Zohran Mamdani and Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-Mich.).

But in an hours-long taped interview, he’s now opted to tell truths he’d been hiding.

He admits that he suppressed videos of Palestinian war crimes against Israeli hostages: During Hamas’ triumphal march of its kidnapees, “people got out, watched, beat them, hit them, and I followed them and filmed. But I did not publish those videos.”

He met with then-Hamas chief Ismail Haniyeh but asked that all evidence of it be deleted.

More, he confirms that a Hamas-aligned groupchat more or less gives marching orders to every journalist in Gaza — who obey, or else.

Hardly far-fetched: al-Jazeera (no friend of Israel) reportedly fired two dozen of its own “journalists” over alleged ties to Hamas and rival Islamist terror group Palestinian Islamic Jihad.

Above all, Azaiza admits the rigid censorship of all speech and images coming out of Gaza.

“When I was filming and documenting the events, I wasn’t focused on how angry people were toward Hamas and its government,” he pleads.

“When someone gets out of the ambulance and says ‘May God punish Hamas’ while I’m filming, the people around him turn the camera away”; if what someone says to the press “does not align” with Hamas, the speaker will “disappear behind the sun.”

Indeed, Uday al-Ruba’i “was killed during the war by Hamas simply because of opinion on Facebook.”

Azaiza even asks: “So how many were killed in Gaza by Hamas? And why don’t we hear their names in the West Bank? Not even from Fatah. They were Fatah’s own sons. Thrown off the rooftops. And nobody moved.”

He also blows up the lie of an “Israeli siege” of Gaza pre-Oct. 7, noting: “The last two years, it wasn’t really a siege. Something eased. . . . The country’s standard improved. A lot of new projects opened. Travel got easier. Instead of paying $1,500 or $2,000 for coordination, you’d pay $200.”

More than a decade ago, former AP reporter and editor Matti Friedman revealed how biased the agency’s Israel coverage was; Hamas’ savage approach to media relations was an open secret to anyone in the global or US press who bothered to look into it.

But they kept pretending that sources like Azaiza were not just credible, but heroic.

They insist Israel has committed genocide in Gaza, when by any definition of the term it has not. Just last week, The New York Times condescendingly reported, “Israelis still largely view themselves as the victims of Oct. 7” — and then tried to explain it away as an “editing error.”

This, scant months after Nicolas Kristof’s deranged libel that the IDF used dogs to rape Palestinians — a column relying heavily, it should be noted, on a Hamas-linked NGO.

So expect this interview to fall into a great void in the very circles that had embraced Azaiaza when he was a propagandist-by-proxy. This crowd wants to eat up Hamas’ propaganda — and only grew more eager to disseminate it after Oct. 7, because it doesn’t care about truth or the people of Gaza: It’s all about hating on Israel.

I wonder why he is suddenly admitting the truth?

I knew that Hamas controlled all news reports, photos and videos coming out of Gaza. And some of the videos were staged...given the name of Pallywood productions.
Israel controlled the whole October 7th narrative.
This article is one of many that exposes the truth as to what actually happened that day.

( Council Estate media October 7th, 2026):

Israel is using today as a propaganda opportunity, so it’s essential we set the record straight. It’s undeniable that Netanyahu knew October 7 was coming. This has been confirmed by Israeli military probes, leaked intelligence, and reporting by outlets including The New York Times, Haaretz, The Times of Israel, The Guardian, the BBC, The Atlantic, and The Wall Street Journal.

Israeli military intelligence obtained a detailed Hamas blueprint codenamed “Jericho Wall”, over a year before the attack. It described breaching the border fence at multiple points, overrunning bases and communities, and taking hostages. Israeli leaks later confirmed that Israel had other versions of the plan circulating since 2018.

An Israeli officer in Unit 8200 wrote multiple assessments of Hamas drills on simulated IDF outposts. She noted that senior Hamas commanders were observing the drills, the plan was operational, and Israel will likely not get a long warning.

Israeli military intelligence sent Netanyahu several letters between March and July 2023, warning him of the dangers. On top of that, multiple foreign countries warned him—and Mr Security failed to act.

UAE President Mohammed bin Zayed warned Netanyahu in late September 2023 that Yahya Sinwar was planning a major operation. Netanyahu later tried to pressure the UAE into saying that no such warning had been given. Egyptian authorities warned Israel “something big was coming” just three days before the attack.

Despite these warnings, Israeli authorities ignored key signs of an attack on October 6 and 7, including the activation of sim cards and unusual rocket movements. No one raised the alert or attempted to raise security along the border. Military and intelligence chiefs have publicly accepted responsibility for the failure. Netanyahu has not.

Roughly half of the 1,500 troops assigned to the area were away on the morning. Despite this vulnerability, and the detailed warnings, the Nova Festival was not only allowed to go ahead, it was given a one-day extension. That extension made it run into October 7.

Officers in the Gaza Division had initially opposed the extension, due to the lack of security, and they were overruled. As a result, 364 festival goers were killed and dozens were abducted.

It took Israeli forces three and a half hours to respond and they were not directed to the worst hit areas. It took them nearly six hours to reach Nir Oz (after the attackers had already left), nearly six hours to reach Kfar Aza and Sufa, seven hours to reach Nahal Oz, and seven hours to reach Be’eri. Remember Israel is a small place.

When the troops finally arrived, they responded with the Hannibal Directive which involved using force to stop Israelis being taken hostage, even if it meant killing them. Huge numbers of buildings and vehicles were destroyed that day—something Hamas did not have the firepower to achieve.

Hannibal orders were given at multiple sites—the Erez crossing, Re’im base, the Gaza Division headquarters, and the Nahal Oz outpost. At 11:22am, a broader order went out on the division network: “Not a single vehicle can return to Gaza.” Units were later told to stop returns to Gaza “at all costs”.

A Southern Command source told Haaretz that everyone knew the vehicles could be carrying kidnapped civilians or soldiers, and could not tell who was inside. A house was destroyed by an Israeli tank, even though it contained 14 hostages. Most of them died.

On the evening of October 7, Qatar’s prime minister called the Mossad chief. He said Hamas was ready to release all civilian hostages in exchange for the IDF not entering the strip. Israel rejected the offer and continued to refuse one hostage deal after another, much to the dismay of the families. This led to many avoidable hostage deaths which were caused by Israel’s own bombs.

For the longest time, we were told “release the hostages” and this all stops, but the moment the last hostage was freed, the genocide did not stop. The slogan changed from “release the hostages” to “fuck around and find out” because the violence was never about the hostages.

When Israel tells you that October 7 was an atrocity carried out by Hamas, it’s omitting that Netanyahu funnelled $1 billion to Hamas because he wanted this moment. He wanted the excuse to decimate Gaza and push ahead with the Greater Israel project. Zionists are now bragging about how October 7 accelerated their plans for Gaza by 20 years.

Netanyahu was willing to kill his own people on October 7 as pretext for a genocide. That’s not only terrorism, it’s treason, and it’s yet another reason this man belongs behind bars.

( End of article)

And it truly is a genocide. And I firmly believe that anyone who supports these people are also guilty of bloodshed, and certainly, certainly not Christian.

I'm curious. What is your viewpoint on the Allies fighting Hitler during World War 2? I understand 400,000 German civilians died during that war.

I suspect atrocities by the IDF in Gaza but the west is captured by a spiritual blind ideology. Take UK Green Party leader Zak Polanski's remarks in favour of a one nation Palestine where all have equal rights; that Zac is Israel at the moment. thus it cant be genocide.
20% of the population in Israel with citizen's rights are not Jews, and include arab muslims. In fact the non-Jews don't have to do national service. The arab muslims in Israel are better off then the Jews and Christians were under the Islamic Ottoman empire. Whilst the Jews were arguably safer they still paid taxes for being non muslim.
Palestine has only really existed during the 25 years of British Mandate, Palestina under Roman jurisdiction included Judea and Samaria!
Indeed the Gaza area was originally of European rather than semitic; DNA shows the Philistines were.

Patton is alleged to have said shortly before his suspicious demise that we "fought the wrong enemy". I would tend to agree with Him.

"I suspect atrocities by the IDF in Gaza....."

Yes. This is the whole point of the matter. I'm never in agreement with terrorist activity or any groups that wish to cause harm on others.
I believe the government of Israel is no different than Hamas but on steroids.

The Hannibal Directive (also called the Hannibal Procedure or Hannibal Protocol) is a controversial Israel Defense Forces (IDF) military policy designed to prevent the capture of Israeli soldiers by enemy forces, even at the risk of harming or killing the captive soldier.

Core Principle: Summarized by the informal military doctrine that "a dead soldier is better than a kidnapped soldier," the directive mandates opening fire without constraints to stop an abduction in progress

Criticism: Human rights groups, legal experts, and critics argue the directive violates international humanitarian law by intentionally endangering or sacrificing the lives of captured troops and nearby civilians.
( As what occurred on October 7th.....they killed their own people).

To what length will a zionist " christian" go to defend these people? Until every last child is destroyed in Gaza? Lebanon? IRAN?

Their destructive power is many, many times greater than the hang glider/ back pack rocket launcher force of Hamas.

And you know what hurts the most? The country I live in is supplying nearly all of the weaponry.
