Basic Bible 101, The Church is the bride of Christ, a subject not worth debating IMHO

God`s word says the Church is the New Man, and we are to put on the new man and the Lord will bring it to a perfect man. We are being made into the image of Jesus, a glorified man, (male and female character).

So why do you want to be a woman, part of a bride?

Do you say to an unsaved man, (even a homosexual) `Come to Jesus and be part of His bride?`

When he Bible says we are seated together with him in heavenly places, do you also over anylize that?
Do you say, "ha ha, I am obviously here on earth."

Do you tell paul, "what is going on here, I don't have the full armor of God"

" it would be way too cumbersome and no tin shield is going to to stop any darts from the devil"

John is speaking through revelation gven him from heaven.
Do you also rebel at John's revelation: "the Lamb of God"

LOL. Why are you acting as if the bride of Christ is a physical entity? It's not. It's a spiritual entity. In reality, it's neither male nor female. It's a term used to describe the spiritual entity containing those who belong to Christ and are in a personal, spiritual relationship with Him. Paul compares it to the relationship between a husband and wife in Ephesians 5, but that doesn't mean you should think of the bride of Christ as if it describes a physical woman. That's ridiculous. The church is both the bride of Christ and the new man. Those are figurative ways to describe the spiritual entity we call the church. It's also called the body of Christ. I'm sure you don't think we, the church, are a literal, physical body. So, don't think of the bride of Christ as being a literal woman, either.

The letter is to the church.

The Gospels were written about when Jesus was manifest on earth. There is NO Body of Christ then or even know then.

I also believe in Israel and the Body of Christ as separate purposes of God.

The Lord does NOT have romantic love He has agape, the giving of oneself.

The personal spiritual relationship with the Lord is by the Holy Spirit to the Head. Nothing closer than that.
