Basic Bible 101, The Church is the bride of Christ, a subject not worth debating IMHO

Hi Truth,

God`s word says the Church is the New Man, and we are to put on the new man and the Lord will bring it to a perfect man. We are being made into the image of Jesus, a glorified man, (male and female character).

So why do you want to be a woman, part of a bride?

Do you say to an unsaved man, (even a homosexual) `Come to Jesus and be part of His bride?`

LOL. Why are you acting as if the bride of Christ is a physical entity? It's not. It's a spiritual entity. In reality, it's neither male nor female. It's a term used to describe the spiritual entity containing those who belong to Christ and are in a personal, spiritual relationship with Him. Paul compares it to the relationship between a husband and wife in Ephesians 5, but that doesn't mean you should think of the bride of Christ as if it describes a physical woman. That's ridiculous. The church is both the bride of Christ and the new man. Those are figurative ways to describe the spiritual entity we call the church. It's also called the body of Christ. I'm sure you don't think we, the church, are a literal, physical body. So, don't think of the bride of Christ as being a literal woman, either.

The Lord does NOT have romantic love He has agape, the giving of oneself.

The personal spiritual relationship with the Lord is by the Holy Spirit to the Head. Nothing closer than that.

Show me where it states "Rapture" or "Millennium", the Bride of Christ is a common phrase used, just as the two mentioned above

The Marriage is with the Lamb and his wife is (The Church) those saints dressed in fine linen, who will partake in the Marriage Supper with the Lamb

Yes you follow dispensationalism's "False" (Dual Covenant Theology) Israel/Church maintaining two separate covenant's with God presently

This false teaching was largely invented by John N. Darby 1800-1882 and promoted by C.I. Scofield's 1909 reference Bible that maintained Darby's false teachings in the Margins

There is "One Covenant" between God and man, and that is the shed blood in the sacrifice on Calvary "Period"
