I didn't claim that he thinks that. Read what I say more carefully. I said what I did because he is interpreting Luke 13:33-34 as if Jesus said a prophet can't die outside of the physical city of Jerusalem. He is insisting that Jesus was saying that no prophet can die outside of the physical city of Jerusalem, but when Jesus refers to Jerusalem in that passage, He's not talking about the physical city, but rather the people of Jerusalem. That' what I'm trying to get him to understand.

I'm not saying he thinks that. I'm showing him the context of the passage. I'm trying to get him to actually think about what Jesus was saying there.

LOL. Show me where I accused him of believing that the physical city killed the prophets? I didn't. I was simply showing that Jesus couldn't have been talking about the physical city since it wasn't the physical city that killed the prophets. Yet, he interprets Luke 13:33 as if Jesus said a prophet can't be killed outside of the physical city of Jerusalem. I'm simply trying to get him to see the context of what Jesus was saying.

After reading your reply, I can admit that I misunderstood what you were meaning by that. Sorry. My bad then. I then retract everything I argued including the straw man I built in regard to you misrepresenting someone's view, in this particular case. I'm human which means I'm capable of making mistakes. I then have a choice.

I can either own up to them when it is pointed out that I made a mistake, or I can be prideful and act like I'm above making mistakes, that it is a mistake on your part to think I made a mistake, not on my part. But only meaning when it has been clearly pointed out.

But don't take that to mean in other cases I'm just too prideful to admit I made a mistake and won't own up to it. In some cases where you accuse me of wrong doing, such as I am misrepresenting Amil, is not what I'm doing, not even remotely. You just don't grasp how I reason/argue through things at times. I know how my mind operates, you certainty don't.

Yep, I sure did. So? How does that apply to what we're talking about now? It doesn't. You are not even understanding what is being discussed here. Either Jesus was crucified in Jerusalem or He wasn't. It can't be both, but you're trying to make it both. Scripture explicitly indicates that He was not crucified within the city of Jerusalem (John 19:20, Hebrews 13:12). Do you believe that or not?
The Lord's sentence of death took place in Jerusalem, Jesus was beaten in Jerusalem, his death March began in Jerusalem, the Lord's precious blood filled the streets of Jerusalem

Matthew 23:24KJV
24 Ye blind guides, which strain at a gnat, and swallow a camel.

(Jerusalem)

Revelation 11:8KJV
8 And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified.

Those are some good points. None of that started outside of Jerusalem where they hung Him on the cross. All of it began inside the city walls---which technically means He was killed in Jerusalem.

100% Correct, the Lord's crucifixion began when Pilate washed his hands, they strain at a gnat and swallow a camel

Well, it says that Jerusalem is guilty of all. If Jerusalem didnt kill them, Jerusalem could not be guilty. It would be unjust to say that Jerusalem is guilty of all if Jerusalem did not kill them. I dont believe Jesus would say unjust things.

Were the Pharisees gods?

Joh 10:34 Jesus answered them, Is it not written in your law, I said, Ye are gods?
Joh 10:35 If he called them gods, unto whom the word of God came, and the scripture cannot be broken;

Apparently the bible supports that human men are gods. Do you believe that?

The city of Jerusalem was not limited to it's walls. The outer area was still Jerusalem.
