Each of these describe the reborn, if in fact the person is reborn.

Paul warned that, well, read it for yourself:

1 Timothy 1:18-20 (KJV)
18 This charge I commit unto thee, son Timothy, according to the prophecies which went before on thee, that thou by them mightest war a good warfare;
19 Holding faith, and a good conscience; which some having put away concerning faith have made shipwreck:
20 Of whom is Hymenaeus and Alexander; whom I have delivered unto Satan, that they may learn not to blaspheme.

What are you thinking would be modified because someone believes that being reborn is permanent? I've lived through a shipwrecked faith, and have been restored.

We can receive this verse exactly as written, without any need to change the ideas from speaking of "faith" - in the passage, or "sin" in your post.

OSAS is faith that the Bible is true. And for those who believe this there seems to be this unending line of people to "belch" in our faces how we just want to sin sin sin sin sin all for freeeeeeeee!

Either it's true or it's not, you should pick one, I think!

And not denigrate others who you do not even know. That's not righteousness, now, is it?

Lol
1) I was talking off the top of my head.
2) you don't know what sin is?
Really?????

Romans 14 :23 says anything apart from faith is sin.

So the verse by Paul is against the osas theory.
It is as if you are defending "shipwreck" as some speed bump. A religious mosquito bite

HOW BAD DOES IT HAVE TO GET for Paul to turn away a BROTHER to satan?.
Hello...and actually SAY without intervention they ARE NOT SAVED?????

I was asking about the gospel, parable of the sower, did he bear fruit by faith alone?

Thks

Born again Christian's bear good fruit by heeding the Spirit in us, knowing that it is God working in/through us to will and do of His good pleasure. We work OUT, not FOR our salvation through the guidance of the Holy Spirit. Born again Christians have the ability, to grieve or quench the Holy Spirit in us. We do this when we listen to the world, our fleshly desires and the spirit of evil. Having been born again, we are assured the life we have is eternal, therefore when we are not obedient, remember God chastens and corrects those whom He loves, "every son whom He receives".

Php 2:12 ¶ Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.
Php 2:13 For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.

1 Thessalonians 5:19 (KJV) Quench not the Spirit.

Ephesians 4:30 (KJV) And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.

Heb 12:5 And ye have forgotten the exhortation which speaketh unto you as unto children, My son, despise not thou the chastening of the Lord, nor faint when thou art rebuked of him:
Heb 12:6 For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth.
Heb 12:7 If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chasteneth not?

It's not the loss of regeneration. The Bible shows that doesn't happen. Regeneration is forever.

Have you ever - ever - considered the actual implications of what you suggest, that the one who's flesh was crucified with Christ, and was resurrected to spiritual life, that their spiritual life will be put to death, and their flesh resurrected? There's nothing in the Bible about that. And there are plenty of places that show this does not happen.

I'm not defending anything other than God's Own faithfulness to keep His promises.

Much love~!

Ps 23 indicates a fall and a restoration

Ps 23:3 he restoreth my soul

And there can be no revival with eternal security

Revival requires something to be alive and then dies and is revived or brought back to life!

Born again implies that we possess eternal salvation here and now?

Those who have been regenerated can in fact become corrupt and they can come to a place where they bear no fruit having had the Word of God choked out of them - Mark 4:10-21

These people having become workers of iniquity will be removed from God's Kingdom Matthew 13:41,42
