After the stoning of Stephen in Acts 7, with the great persecution that broke out, the followers of Jesus began to scatter. It was not until Acts 9 that Saul had the Damascus road experience which in Galatians 1, Paul said he went to then Arabia for three years before returning to Jerusalem. Beyond that, I do not recall.

Just because someone is before you don't mean they have all the truth. remember Paul was with Barnabas in Antioch learning as everyone else. and was seperated for a work, (where other had went after the persecution of our brother Stephen). Acts 13:1-4 "Now there were in the church that was at Antioch certain prophets and teachers; as Barnabas, and Simeon that was called Niger, and Lucius of Cyrene, and Manaen, which had been brought up with Herod the tetrarch, and Saul. As they ministered to the Lord, and fasted, the Holy Ghost said, Separate me Barnabas and Saul for the work whereunto I have called them. And when they had fasted and prayed, and laid their hands on them, they sent them away. So they, being sent forth by the Holy Ghost, departed unto Seleucia; and from thence they sailed to Cyprus".

so the work was where others have go.

There are many ways I can go with this. not only concering the word of God in Scriptures only, but in ethnicity since your topic "Paul and the Gentiles". when the scattering occured many went to other places. Acts 8:1 "And Saul was consenting unto his death. And at that time there was a great persecution against the church which was at Jerusalem; and they were all scattered abroad throughout the regions of Judaea and Samaria, except the apostles". now yes they went into the gentiles. but what was the set up? Jewish faces was in the pulpits "TEACHING". well the apsotle of God, Paul changed all that. by placing a young man name Timothy who father was Greek put him in the ministry. so no longer was there only Jewish faces in the pulpits and gentiles faces only in the congregation. the church was changes as to the truth, neither Greek nor Jew bond or free.... ect. but the Church was Changing on many of Fronts. again, just because someone was before you don't mean it's complete. even in the word.

ERROR, listen, the whole book of Galatians was about circumcision in the flesh vs circumcision of the heart. also if you read chapter 1 starting at verse 6, because someone preached "ANOTHER GOSPEL" someone was INCORRECT. and there was many other problems and question that needed to be straighten out in the churches and Jewish Synagogue. because the apostle had to confront the Jews that Jesus is Lord and God. so I still stand by my statement. just read the church letters, and especially the book of Acts.
