any body can be a Pope - it is not difficult as there are always thousands of, self ap;pointed, Popes all of whom are infallible and indwelt and inspired and guided by the Holy Spirit - as always there are exceptions to prove the rule - no Catholic especially Bishops and Cardinals can be a Pope - this is a short version of a much longer version - imho - twinc

Haha!! dream on brother...
I have "known" him for about 15yrs now...I have never seen him clarify anything yet! :D
Even his clarification leaves me with a headache!
He just loves to ask question to which most have no real ( or sensible) answer. :)

What's that in your hands?
It looks like some kind of ancient Egyptian symbol.
Are you Egyptian?
If you're referring to my avatar - it's the Eucharist.
Ummmm, I thought you said that you used to be in the Catholic Church??

Sounds like you left because of an abject ignorance of the faith . . .

I guess if you willfully mistook Christianity for ancient Egyptian religion, you probably needed to move on......and yet, you still seem to be hooked on you perverted version of Catholicism...hmm

Coptics are catholics and are stronger in Egypt than any other country.
There, I taught you something again.

More evidence that you don't know your history.

Do you know why the Vatican signed a concordat with Nazi Germany?
It was to SAVE LIVES.

Then, later on, during the War - Pope Pius XII was responsible for rescuing more Jews than Oskar Schindler. In fact, his efforts were so appreciated by the Jews that he inspired some to convert to the Catholic Church.
The Chief Rabbi of Rome, Israel Zolle was among those who converted and he changed his name to "Eugenio" - the SAME name as Pius XII.

So much for your feeble attempt at smearing the Church . . .

I believe that for a balanced view we need to stop speculating and simply look at history as recorded by the experts and eye-witnesses of the times. For example, an interesting perspective on Catholic loyalties during that war may be gained from an investigation into the activities and personalities involved with the Ustachi. (See Stepinac, and Tiso.)And Franz von Papen. That should be enough to keep everyone occupied for a while. Let me know when you want some more.

I would suggest for a follow up read of interest...The Secret History of the Jesuits. Free PDF online available go to section V chapter 5. Just for balance you understand. ;)

Gee - an ignorant anti-Catholic promoting a book by an equally-ignorant anti=-Catholic,
What a surprise . . .

Do your homework.
While you're at it, you will discover that Pius XII wasn't a Jesuit, Einstein . . .
