- They love their creator, God Almighty (YHWH) with everything they have inside them.

- They love other believers as brothers and sisters in Jesus the Christ (Yeshua or Messiah)

- They love other people that are searching for God and truth.

- They cherish and know the spirit of God is within them, loving them, communicating with them, guiding them to capture the entire mind and form or likeness of the spirit and person called Jesus Christ – their Lord and Saviour.

- They love or even have a passion to understand the word of God and discuss it with other believers because they love their Father and it is his intimate word(s) speaking to them.

- They are not satisfied with just meeting the requirements of salvation, in love and grace and sealed with the spirit and power of God. They want to keep growing in faith and in the knowledge of our creator; whether they are 20 years old or 90 years old.

- They know they do not live in sin anymore. They are baptized with Christ and theirs sins have been crucified with Christ. They are inclined to God and the mind of Christ that produces spiritual fruits or works by the spirit and not of self.

-They pray for themselves, family, others in need or not. They thank God all the time for their lives and the spirit within. They especially thank God for the lamb and true servant of God he gave to us in agape love – full of incalculable grace and truth.

What say ye?

Bless you,

Not bad, but, yes, I say, BUT, the thing that is needed to join or be joined therein lies in that Love of which you speak. Where or how does a person get such Love? Where or how does a person join or have himself joined to this fraternity of true believers? We know, or I guess we should know, that God loves us no matter who we are or who we have been. What does He require of us to be joined with these true believers? Can anyone join? Are there any prerequisites for joining? How does one love who has not loved or does not know how to love?

This true love comes from God alone. The love once had grows with faith in a person. No genuine love comes outside of the creator who is willing to share it with anyone seeking him...This is the starting point to membership.

I wonder what it is that instigates a person to come to that Love which comes from God alone at the first? The following verse indicates that God gets the ball rolling:

"No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day." John 6:44
So then if acknowledge His drawing allowing ourselves to be drawn will we then come to Jesus and begin to love?

Can a person, any person love as God loves or does the person first have to become a little bit like God?

To the first question, we are born with capability to know God even with a natural born nature. Humans are seekers and born to serve either God or his creation(s) or self. When a person because of personal circumstance leans outside their natural safe zone, and seek love or attention toward themselves, their heart signal and shines outwards and is read by God. He knows the heart. God if he chooses brings his love to that person, in his time not ours.

To the second question: They will be drawn to the love of God although not necessarily to his son. God will bring his message of love to that person in his time. That person had to want to come to Jesus based on spiritual information and the word of God first.

To the 3rd question...No man can love as God loves us. That person has the capability to return their love to God because they are 'like' God. We are born in his image whether we are in the state of sin or not. The believer will display and resemble the love of God genuinely because of the help of the spirit dwelling within them. They become the love of God over time.

I agree. I see a mention of this here:

"That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world." John 1:9 [This is not every born again man, but every man born to woman.]

This "light" is that which every man born to woman has. It is not light to see "face to face" but light that attracts us to obtain the greater Light which is found in Jesus and in those who have really met him. This little light allows us to see enough to want more.

To the second question: They will be drawn to the love of God although not necessarily to his son. God will bring his message of love to that person in his time. That person had to want to come to Jesus based on spiritual information and the word of God first.
The little light mentioned in John 1:9 may well be the initial drawing of the Father. The light is/was there in each of us, but if we are too busy or distracted or whatever, we may not ever choose to pursue it.

When he was called "good" Jesus said,

"... Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments." Matt 19:17

But then are there never any people who are "good"? The Light, which is Jesus, which is his Father's Word is good because God is Good. Does any person ever have God in them?

Does an unbeliever not have that little light in them? And so we see unbelievers doing good things [good according to God] and presumably if they never come closer to God than that they do still like the Pharisees have their reward even if it is only whatever reward they receive in this carnal life as result of their goodly deeds.

Ah, but then the believer as he is led and as he follows and as he obeys and becomes more like Jesus who is already more like God, the believer who was born in His image [that little bit of light] will become more like Him... will become more in His likeness... As you say it will always fall short of God Himself, but the limit in that is never in God, but in us. How much like Him will we become?

Give God the glory!

Amen to that @amadeus

Love the 'light' scriptures you brought forth...and yes it does confirm that God, our Father and Jesus' is the only one that is GOOD.

It also reveals that we had a natural tendency to turn to God (YHWH) within us BEFORE we knew Christ. We never had a natural tendency to know Jesus first...it was always God Almighty...Amen

Love what you said."..The Light, which is Jesus, which is his Father's Word is good because God is Good." You are making this subject really clear Amadeus.

Bless you,

LOL something else we may have in common...my grandmother's maiden name was Morgan. Morgan of the Henry variety. Captain Henry. Not a very savory fella, and not strictly a pirate. But a fine example of a licentious money laundering and plundering raping and pillaging villain who through his connections with government landed a plum job in the Carribean. No doubt he has some descendants still in the area...say hello to them for me. Don't get lost in the triangle. Later.

Where or how does a person join or have himself joined to this fraternity of true believers?

How?
God created man with the capability to have life. (Our life, ie our Blood)
God gifts man with His Breath of Life, in a living soul, to bring our life (ie Blood) into a living state.
As long a mans life (blood), IN His body, remains alive; the living soul, with Gods breath remains IN the body.
As long a man has LIFE in his body;
(Ie living blood, and living soul)...
The man has both, influence from ...
His natural life (blood) and Gods supernatural life, (breath) IN the man.
A man can freely Choose to follow after, and subject himself to either LIFE...
Natural or Supernatural.

So HOW does a man choose? By his own personal choice of what the man decides to learn about and decide.

And why Scripture continually teaches to Hear and Learn about God....while the World continually teaches to Hear and Learn about the World.
And individual men make their own individual choices of WHAT they desire to hear and learn about.

Are there any prerequisites for joining?

Yes. Making a choice to willingly GIVE their Life TO the Lord.

How does one love who has not loved or does not know how to love?

God requires nothing from us, that He does not first GIFT us with the things necessary, that HE requires of us to willingly GIVE TO Him.

God Bless,

Joh 1:7 The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all men through him might believe.
Joh 1:8 He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light.
Joh 1:9 That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world.
Joh 1:10 He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not.
Joh 1:11 He came unto his own, and his own received him not.
Joh 1:12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:
Joh 1:13 Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.

By His Spirit all things are done, as Jesus put it,"nevertheless not my will but your will be done. Truly if we give God the pen, He can finish our lifes story, He has already seeing the end anyway.

God bless

You my friend are often wordier than I am, but if it is spoken from a heart led by God that is certainly OK. I do appreciate your thoughts here. Generally we are in agreement. I would add clarification to your final phrase:

"But who am I, and what is my people, that we should be able to offer so willingly after this sort? for all things come of thee, and of thine own have we given thee." I Chron 29:14

It's a learned behavior, for spending a great deal of time with deaf people, in an attempt to be precise, particularly about things most people presume others know, when they don't.

Too many things are presumed by people even those who claim to be following God. For me the "lowest room" is always the place to start my day and/or my conversation with God. Before Him what is that I know? By faith it is that I stand before Him, is it not? If I know anything at all correctly it is because He gave it to me or wrote it in my heart.

Lovely Post APAK.
I find nothing to disagree with there.... :)

I am sure we have all met other Christians that as bbyrd009 says "Get a free ride" and then give no thought to the " pick up your cross" side.
But then again...I am sure that is the "love test" ...how much do we really love? Are we walking the walk to just 'stay out of jail' or are we following close to the Master because we love Him..and have no life outside of Him.

....H
