That's how I see it as well God's Grace. She hated publicity, never ever blew her own horn and, they (Hindu's) knew what her faith entailed. And...they SAW and EXPERIENCED Jesus hands and love through her. How in the world can ANYBODY judge someone else's motives of the heart---they cannot.

The loaded question fallacy.
Just because Catholic salvation theology is different from yours does not make us wrong.
No, she didn't say that.
St. Mother Teresa did not embrace poverty to be a celebrity, but because it's what Jesus wanted from her.

It's ironic how many "faith alone" Protestants do good works, and have their faith ultimately perfected.
Yet St. Mother Teresa, and other Catholics, are often accused of "works righteousness". It's another way of saying "you have no grace". It's a stupid insult. St. Mother Teresa professed "grace alone" the same as Protestants. We think she was given a trainload of grace. There is no way she could have accomplished that much on her own efforts. "
Not all of us are called to do great things, but we can do little things with great love."

I agree with all you've said.
I just don't understand why you say that Catholics believe in a different salvation
theology...

For instance, do you believe the Book of Life to be a literal book?

Why wouldn't it be a literal book?
God made the universe, the earth and all that's in and on it.
Look at nature, the flowers, animals, the seasons.
And on and on.
He could surely make a book. :)
Why couldn't He have a book?
I know I serve a mighty God.
I believe he heals the sick and sets people free.
So, the "book" might as well be a literal book as far as I'm concerned.

Just make sure your name is in it. :)

Anybody know where we can find 144000 virgin men consecrated to the Lord
Shouldn't you be content that God knows exactly who they are and has identified them as 144,000 from the twelve tribes of Israel? We simply have to believe God's revelation and His foreknowledge of ALL things.

I'm hanging in there!

It must be a pretty big book!
I never even thought about this till I posted about Revelation.
See. This is why I keep away from Revelation...it makes me think too much...

Is Mother Teresa in heaven?

Of course she is.
Not because she helped the poor and all that.

She's in heaven because she loved Jesus Christ and knew He died on the cross for her.
Helping the poor came as a result of that.

Her name is in the Book. :)
I'm not so sure of that.
The great Dr. Albert Schweitzer was a theologian, Lutheran.
But I doubt very much he ever believed in the same Jesus that you and I believe in.

Your "reasonable to conclude" is illogical and unreasonable. Your interpretation is an excuse to throw Jesus' mother out of the Bible. He is not pleased.
This is plainly nonsensical.

Revelation 12 has nothing to say about Mary one way or another. And here is the reason why that woman cannot symbolize Mary: And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ. (Rev 12:17).

If you claim that this woman is Mary, then "the remnant of her seed" could only be the half-brothers and sisters of Jesus of Nazareth (which the Catholic Church denies regarding their existence).

But since this prophecy is about the Tribulation Period (for a time, times, and half a time = 3 1/2 years) in the future under the reign of the Antichrist and Satan (see Rev 13) it has nothing to do with the offspring of Mary. Rather, this is the believing remnant of Israel before the second coming of Christ, preserved in the wilderness by God.

It's called the Apocalypse
Whoever came up with Revelation, I think it was Calvin
That makes you a Calvinist
What bible do you read?
The NASB says Revelation.
I like that better because it reveals hidden things...which I don't really know what they are.

NOTHING could make me a calvinist.

AMEN to that sister! I first and foremost do not do "isms" -
(unless it's Jesus-ism, lol) - but, Calvinism is a lie from the pit of hell IMO. The very doctrine that had me leave the Church back in the late 90's as I truly believed I was kindling for Hell! TULIP means what is says it is-a pretty spring flower. It is an arrogant doctrine, and dangerous..."their" T=total deprivation. Meaning of course, born in Adam. So, if a child were born stillborn, or die at an age where their understanding of even the basics of life itself is non existent or very limited, they have never knowingly sinned but "T" says they are NOT saved and go to Hell...wow.
