St. Mother Teresa did not embrace poverty to be a celebrity, but because it's what Jesus wanted from her.
It's ironic how many "faith alone" Protestants do good works, and have their faith ultimately perfected.
Yet St. Mother Teresa, and other Catholics, are often accused of "works righteousness". It's another way of saying "you have no grace". It's a stupid insult. St. Mother Teresa professed "grace alone" the same as Protestants. We think she was given a trainload of grace. There is no way she could have accomplished that much on her own efforts.
