There are plenty of websites devoted to the subject of Apologetics, that will show you sound evidence for the faith, if you actually wanted to believe, you could go to them and find substantial evidence for the faith. It's always someone telling me what to believe & how to believe it. But nothing from this God, it's strange how other people have to do the talking for God. I'm sure if this God is real he'd know exactly what I need to prove to me who he is, but it's always someone else speaking on his behalf.
That is how the Lord normally works. He placed His Holy Spirit in the church 2,000 years ago on the day of Pentecost. And He usually speaks to people through people who have received the Holy Spirit.
But if you want for Him to speak to you in an audible voice, be careful what you wish for. People who hear voices are usually thrown into mental institutions.
You my friend made the decision to join this forum as a supposedly former Christian. I was responding to you accordingly. The "eyes to see" of which Jesus spoke are the thing, whether you accept it or not:
"I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see." Rev 3:18
Yeah, you can't actually say. There's no mystery here, just people ruled by circumstance.
It wouldn't be the first time that the church has been persecuted by someone who claims not to believe in Jesus.
Just another attempt at making the implausible, plausible. What do you really know of me? I called out to your God when thing's were good & when thing's were bad. I didn't just come crawling to him when I was destitute, also when life was good, I came knocking on his door.
But life won't permit the illusion, not for me anyway.
