When was the last time you heard the word Rapture in your Church? Have you been told that we are seeing all the signs Jesus told us we would see just before His return=TODAY? So many "churches" are little more than "social clubs" where the people are told, "let's all be happy, I am ok and you are ok.=no worries".

Apostil Paul says= In the presence of God and of Christ Jesus, who will judge the living and the dead, and in view of his appearing and his kingdom, I give you this charge: 2Preach the word; be prepared in season and out of season; correct, rebuke and encourage—with great patience and careful instruction. 3For the time will come when people will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear. 4They will turn their ears away from the truth and turn aside to myths. 5But you, keep your head in all situations, endure hardship, do the work of an evangelist, discharge all the duties of your ministry. 6For I am already being poured out like a drink offering, and the time for my departure is near. 7I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. 8Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day—and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing. 2 Timothy 4:1-7

Oh, I enjoy the rare truthful teaching about how our transformation will be in the form of "rapture." It is just the addition of all the "Left Behind" series rhetoric that most preachers just can't resist "whooping-up" that turns my stomach.

Most of them act like none of the Biblical rapture things were written for any of those billions of Christians who lived and died before us. They stand up there and swear to their congregations, that "IT" is coming in just a few days, and that it was all written back then so that only WE (the Blessed Generation) would finally have it in 2018.

But, they were saying the same thing in 1955 when I was ten..... and back in 1945, when my mother had me.... and back in 1923 when she was born... and back in the WW I days..... and every generation all the way back to Jesus (50 generations if you go by the Biblical 40 years)

Why stand in front of all those billions of people and lie to them, if in truth, The Rapture was not going to be until we were born today? And preachers still try to sell the same nonsense they actually know nothing about, to this very day. (I think Jesus did say no one knows?)

1Thess. 4:13-18
Believers Who Have Died
13 Brothers and sisters, we do not want you to be uninformed about those who sleep in death so that you do not grieve like the rest of mankind, who have no hope. 14 For we believe that Jesus died and rose again, and so we believe that """God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him.""" 15 According to the Lord’s word, we tell you that we who are still alive, who are left until the coming of the Lord, will certainly not precede those who have fallen asleep. 16 For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. 17 After that, we who are still alive and are left will be """caught up""" together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever. 18 Therefore encourage one another with these words.

WHEN DID JESUS SAY THE
RAPTURE WOULD TAKE PLACE?

by

"WHEN WILL THE RAPTURE TAKE PLACE?

In answering this question, many Christians will give a typical response of quoting Mt. 24:36 - "But of that day and hour no one knows..." to indicate that we can not know the day or hour of the Rapture. However, they stop there and do not read the next verse where Jesus says, " But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be." Here He makes it clear that He is speaking of the timing of His Return, which still in the context of verses 29 and 30, is "after the tribulation", when all the world will see Him...an event at the end of the 7 year "week" of Daniel's prophecy....not at the start of the 7 years!!

So, the verse "...of that day and hour no one knows..." does not necessarily refer to the Rapture....unless it is at the end of the 7 years. Perhaps, because of a mistaken idea on the timing of the rapture, many Christians are not even aware that Jesus Himself did tell us in other places when the Rapture would take place...in fact, the very day of the Rapture, and these other scriptures do not conflict with Mt. 24:36 above. In fact He told us 4 times exactly which day it would be! "

Rapture to heaven’ believers say that people who dispute their theory; just cannot see or understand that belief.
It’s what we don't see in the Bible, where the difference lies. Nowhere does scripture say God intends to take His people to heaven. In fact Jesus Himself says such a thing is impossible. John 3:13, John 7:34, Revelation 2:25-26, +

People who read the whole Bible can establish the truth for themselves, that God's purpose is to have a people who will be His faithful believers, doing His will on earth. THAT is our purpose and our destiny!

But a lot of people don't bother to find out this truth, they listen to teachers and read fictional books that say we can just be good people, churchgoers and tithers, and God will remove them to heaven. They are told this fantastic event will happen before any Judgement or testing of their faith. They are told it is the Jewish people who must face tribulation, not them.

This scenario is not found anywhere in the Bible. It is made up from assumptions and making scriptures mean something they do not.
So the 'rapture to heaven' believers will never convince anyone who seriously reads their Bible.

The lazy people who accept doctrines from anywhere except the Bible, are deceived and because they choose to believe lies, the Lord has locked them into their delusions. Isaiah 29:9-12, and stopped their ears to the truth; 2 Timothy 4:4

I believe the pre-trib rapture doctrine is harmful to children. And even borderline child abuse. Because it gives them a false world view, and dashes their hopes for a future in the real world. While deluding them to think they won't be here tomorrow. So plans do not really matter. There's a rapture support group on Twitter (#RaptureAnxiety) for those sharing horror stories of their indoctrination.

I was in a rapture church one evening and the kids put on a skit about being left behind. And it told me they have a warped world view and not much of a future to look forward to. Scripture teaches that the rapture happens on the last day following the resurrection of the believers in Christ. And this will be as in Noah's day. Marrying, giving in marriage and business as usual.

Who wants to argue and fight against God's Word??? The very soon rapture (catching up of believers) will be one of the greatest days in human history as we are caught up to meet Jesus in our new immortal body and be taken up to heaven. Who wants to be left behind where they try to stay alive under anti-christ rule and the years of the great tribulation?? Think!!

It doesn't happen until after the resurrection of the dead on earth's last day. If you knew scripture, Antichrist has been here for centuries and will surface again.

Yes the spirit of anti-christ has been on earth for many years but very soon a real physical man will come to power as anti-christ who wants to be left behind on rapture day to live under anti-christ rule??

Antichrist has been here for a long time now. The Methodists, early Baptists, Lutherans, Reformed, and many others wrote into their creeds the Papacy is the Antichrist.

The reason you do not know this, and look for another is because people were leaving the Catholic Church in droves. To stop this, they created the doctrine you now believe, a future Antichrist, so people would believe it and stop leaving their church. I can prove this in writing if necessary.

And the devil, who deceived them, was thrown into the lake of burning sulfur, where the beast (anti-christ) and the false prophet had been thrown. They will be tormented day and night for ever and ever. Revelation 20:10
