I have hesitated about requesting believers to agree with me in prayer over my daughter Kristy. Two reasons....a recent horrible experience from another forum from the prayer wall.....and second I just don't like to share my burdens with others who are burdened with their own problems. So putting aside my reasons I am here to ask for prayer that my daughter Kristy will be freed from the snares of Satan in her life. It started last year around March....she broke up with her boyfriend, then started going out and meeting new friends....all drug friends....got a new boyfriend....became his accomplish in petty theft, then cc theft, then 10 speed bicycles, then stolen vehicle and lastly breaking and entering.....she was arrested and charged for possession of a stolen vehicle and it was reduced to joyriding....she didn't show up for court today on the breaking and entering charge....her new boyfriend was arrested for theft and is now in the state prison due to several past warrants.
This boyfriend was the one who got her so into drugs and stealing and I would pray for his arrest to get him out of her life. Well now she is somewhere out there and I don't know with who or where….I had to go to DHS and get assistance with Jaclyn because I am unable to work and provide for her at the time.....I have to go to court and get legal guardianship of Jaclyn because the doctors office won't let me bring her unless I am a legal guardian.

I have a mountain of other things that has come against me as well but they are nothing compared to the life of my daughter. Last night someone knocked on my door looking for her and I said I don't know where she is and this person said well when you see her tell her the cops are after her....I step outside because Jaclyn might hear.....and I told him to never come to my house with any of their drama....he said fine would I rather he call the cops and I said YES! Then he lead me to his vehicle and introduced me to this guy and informed me Kristy stole his phone. Again, nothing to do with me...Terry (the guy who knocked on my door) claimed that she has become nothing but a lousy thief....I quickly reminded him that I remember he was on that same side of the tracks not to long ago....then he calmed down and started squirming and said well...that was the old me...I am married now and I don't do that anymore.
I know I am giving a lot of detail but I want you to see as much of it as possible....I know that there has been an attempt by a drive by shooter to shoot her.....
I have put her in God's hands and asked that He protect her and save her.

My heart is so heavy these days that I have neglected some of my friends here....but tonight I am just overwhelmed and I need the strength of others to help bear me up and to pray that I rise up and fight the good fight of faith.

She doesn't have any of her daughters with her anymore....Kaitlin is with Mike, Hailey is with her dad Jeremiah in Kentucky, and Jaclyn is with me.

If how my heart is breaking is anything close to how God's heart breaks for His lost sheep then I vow to walk every street in Tulsa and minister to lost sheep.

Thanks and sorry for the long post.

Ohhh Heat2Soul, how we care for our children and yes, it gives us an insight into how God cares for us. I'm reminded of the text 'while we where yet sinners, Christ died for the ungodly'. Be strong my friend as I am with you and your girls in my prayers.

Thank you. Just knowing others are praying encourages me a great deal!

Hi H,
What a beautiful baby! I love babies.

I have two children, in their 40's. We want the best for them so I understand your pain.
My prayer is that your daughter learns to love and care for herself.
My prayer is that God gives you the strength you need to face this situation,,,which I believe He is already doing.

God bless you and keep you strong and may His face shine on Kristy.

It's not strange. Prayer is good.
And it's good to know others understand and care and we are not isolated.
I know this from experience....
We all need prayer, even me.
God be with us.

Pray For Kristy
Dear Sister Heart2Soul, my heart also goes out to you in your time of need. You are certainly in my prayers, as is your daughter Kristi and all the children. Sometimes we worry that God is not in control of the situation when we see our loved ones suffering, but He never fails us. We are invited to boldly go to our Father to find grace and help in our time of need. Find solace in God’s promises; He will complete that which He has begun.

We do not know the consequences our children bring to themselves, but God even rewarded Job with double the children; the seven He took, and the seven remaining with him. My wife as well as I often worried about our son, and one day, even in all the things that were the result of his own making, he told my wife that he prayed every day.

Did my son escape the life he was leading? Yes, our Lord took him as he was found in his apartment with his hands tied behind him, handcuffed, and lynched; he had been cheating drug gangs too long. Do I have the least thought of never seeing him again? No.

There’s an old hymn; Take your burdens to the Lord and leave them there. In faith, and perfect peace we can trust our Lord to do that which He has begun. Just continue to love Kristy, and may God richly bless you in all you’re doing in Jesus’ name.

Praying for your daughter. I’ve been where you are, Heart2Soul. Our daughter went missing for years where we(my husband and I) honestly didn’t know if she even had a place to sleep at night. There were times when we questioned if she was still alive and would anyone know how to contact us if something happened...when she had completely cut us out. She abandoned her child also. He was 5 at the time and old enough to cry and beg for us to bring his mommy back. There was nothing I could do. It nearly killed me. It physically made me sick from worry. I get your pain. You are doing the right thing by giving your daughter to God and staying on your knees before Him. Pray for Kristy to be convicted, so much so that she can’t get away from God’s conviction over her life; I will pray for her to be convicted with you.

I would pray and beg for God to love our daughter and, one day, He said “you do not have to beg me to love her. She was Mine before she was yours. I know her in ways you never will.” Consider it is the broken, the meek, the poor in spirit that come to God. It is hard to watch our children being broken... but these are the blessed that seek Him. Our daughter has been home nearly two years now. She has her son back in her life and she is in school. She wants to be a math teacher. We( my husband and I) never knew she loved math. Neither did my daughter until God showed her that He gave her a mathematical mind. Our daughter talks about God and how it came to a point where she would sit alone in the dark and cry out to Him. God was talking to her the whole time she was out of our life. I share this with you because there is hope, Heart2Soul, and to let you know God can turn it completely around.

Praying for Kristy.

Well a flood of tears are flowing all over again....not because of sorrow but because of this testimony of hope.....this was totally God bringing you here to read my prayer thread and share your story.
I don't have a very good track record with dealing with trauma....in the past I would go through a major tragedy and I would walk away from God and turn to alcohol to sooth my pain.....those days are over...never again will I walk away from Him when trials and tribulations come.... I am running TO Him. It took a long time for me to finally get it. So you and others here I have come to see as my brothers and sisters....and you are all believers of His Word.
Again, thank you for sharing.

Ohhh my heart breaks for you....I tend to think on the fear of this happening to her as well and I have to quit letting those thoughts enter my mind.....Job said "that thing I feared the most has come upon me"....so I have been casting those thoughts down on a regular basis....This is another reason I decided to come here and ask for prayers....it gives me hope knowing I have a team of righteous prayer warriors on my side pleading her case before God.....I am prepared to accept whatever His Will is in the matter.

So many stories of heartbreak. I have my own with my oldest daughter. This is what the body of Christ is for--to bear one another's burdens so that our burdens don't destroy us!!!

I pray that your daughter will feel the emptiness of her choices and see how much she needs the love of Christ and be drawn to Him!

And I pray that God will continue to infuse you with His mighty strength!

Wonderful post of faith in our Heavenly Father....we have to believe that He "has" our children in His hand ...and He has yours too.
The outward life that we see, may not at all be the life that heart that God sees.

We "gave them to God" therefore we must trust that 'that God has them' either here or there. ✟
The heartaches are real, but His Victory is greater.

I have hesitated about requesting believers to agree with me in prayer over my daughter Kristy.

Wow...bless your heart.
Yes, we will add Kristy to our prayer list. My hubby and I pray for many needs before bed.
So sorry to read your sad story...what an encouragement VictoriesinJesus has with her daughter...
God has His own story for your Kristy.
He went after the wandering sheep...He knows every single one of them.
Praying right now , peace to your heart and a glorious anointing upon you...so that you can pray for Kristy but not come under the load , but let Jesus carry the load while you pray through , for her.
The burden is not ours to carry...the love , the prayerful intersession is ours, but not the anxiety...
It is hard to do, but He told us to "CAST our care upon the Lord."
Your fight in this is to Hold tight to Peace... We hold our peace while the Lord fights the battle. I am better at this than I used to be...it is a hard lesson to learn, but such joy when we move into that place of knowing that our power is in prayer and worship...because the Devil hates worship. He thrives on sorrow and sadness...
Begin to see your daughter clean, whole, and restored and start praising God for the victory.
Much easier said than done...but our peace 'in battle' is a victory over the Enemy. If he can knock you down with worry , he wins.
Peace is a position of warfare. ✟

Praying with you....Helen
