In the bible Paul told us to greet one another with a holy kiss, how is it done originally in his time?
It would have been done as per the custom of that day with the kissing of the cheek. This is a sign of affection and respect for them that's very similar, if not exactly the same as, our handshaking. Such a custom was common to the area, although I think Paul was emphasizing the spiritual nature of being friendly as a true Christian.
Honour parents means to?
In a nutshell it means to honor them by honoring what they tell you to do. Our parents should be and generally are where we get the majority of our instruction on how to do things.Here are a few good verses as well:Deuteronomy 5:16Honour thy father and thy mother, as the LORD thy God hath commanded thee; that thy days may be prolonged, and that it may go well with thee, in the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee.Ephesians 6:1-4 Children, obey your parents in the Lord: for this is right. Honour thy father and mother; which is the first commandment with promise; That it may be well with thee, and thou mayest live long on the earth. And, ye fathers, provoke not your children to wrath: but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.There are countless others including verses in Psalms and Proverbs. If you have a Strong's try looking the various words (Father, Mother, etc.) up to find some of the other verses.
