This is called modal monarchism. Condemned as heresy by the early church. There is One God, three persons with different roles.
well let me give you what the holy Ghost revealed to me about your modalism. listen real good, the trinity is just modalism in reverse.

It's because the doctrine of the trinity is correct.
I agree. But I still think Jesus was and is God and the Holy Spirit is also God. God called the Son God. God also said He is one God. I disagree that it's heresy. I understand it's all difficult for our minds to grapple with. I like the way they describe a three part God, yet one God. I see three ways of Him choosing to reveal Himself to men over the course of history. If that makes me a heretic in the eyes of men, so be it. I know Him that I belong to.

Well I can't help that, haha! He chose to reveal Himself to us by wrapping Himself in flesh. Today, He chooses to dine with us in inner chambers in spirit. Jesus claimed to be God. John said He was God. So I don't think it's heresy in God's eyes.
Still heresy according to Christendom.

If you reject the doctrine of the trinity, you do not follow the Christ of the bible.

God is three persons in One Spirit. Each present at Jesus' baptism. The Father spoke from heaven. The Holy Spirit descended as a dove. And Jesus (God in person) came up out of the water.
oh yes, ERROR, listen,
Matthew 3:16 "And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him:

Matthew 3:17 "And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.
ok, lets examine this. the Holy Spirit, descending like a dove, not a dove but like a dove. and the Manifestation or the figure of God, in concrete form standing in the water.

now the Voice, who said that it was God voice? scripture please. it said "a" voice. is there any other who speak from heaven, on God's behalf? I suggest you read, Genesis 22:10-12

He spoke to me verbally one time.
yes indeed, when God speaks it's as if one hears verbally. for the spirt is more real that the physical. remember this is a CREATED WORLD, this is not the REAL world...

so when people say they heard the voice of God, to them it is real.

I'll say! So real, in fact, that I felt breath on my ear and words from outside my ear! I think I was so young and wobbly that He gave that to me because of my weakness.

There are no prophets today. All prophecy beyond scripture is false.
ERROR, only private interpretation of the scriptures.
2 Peter 1:20 "Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation".

second, God set in his Church "Prophets". scripture,
1 Corinthians 12:28 "And God hath set some in the church, first apostles, secondarily prophets, thirdly teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, governments, diversities of tongues". God has set, or ordained this in "HIS" church and not Dave church. as the apostle Peter said, "it's better to obey God than man.

third, have you found that scripture that says it was God voice that spoke from heaven at the Lord Jesus baptism? is so please post it.
