Mrs waiting hasn’t as far as I know ever had the desire for one?
It's not for everyone.

While over here in North America, women - before it became a mainstream and benign thing to do (and maybe your daughter thinks this way also?) - generally used to shy away from getting tattooed, when it was more typically a man thing or a radical 'alternative' thing to do, now it's so prevalent that even more women use tattoo parlors over here than men do, apparently according to statistics.

Which also at least in theory greatly increases the scope for faith based designs.

Over here also some parlors even seem to expect to cater mainly for the more mature tattoo (esp. female?) wearers.

It's really become a custom on a par with the double pierced ears which came in around 40 years ago (although your wife might also shy away from those also?)

But it's not for everyone.

@Naomi25 Just thought I would say hi from this thread, since I saw you were engrossed in the prophetic discussions. (Though from what you have said I guess your daughter would be more interested in this thread than you are...)

Uh. Hi. I don't really have anything to say on this matter, however. ;)

In this new year 2019, the passage of time reminds us that young people turning 18 - when many acquire their first ink as adults - were born in 2001 (the year of 9/11).

The years have moved on considerably.

So has tattoo culture moved on also and broadened considerably also from a strongly male military and biker ethos years ago...to a viable witness means among Christians for both genders today?

Agree? /disagree?

(Honest and respectful comments, please.)
What do you want this information for farouk? Seeing you are regularly fishing for information which really has nothing to do with this site, Jesus or anything of objective value, I can't help but question your motives.

man, If you think that tattooing is a means of witnessing, you are off with the fairies

Thank-you for your comments. Actually a lot of Christians do have them.

I sense a certain perversion in this obsession of yours to know of peoples tattoos and those of their children.

No one needs to say anything.

Actually so many Christians have them, that it's not realistic that all of them be expected to say nothing about them.

That is immaterial. My statement to your was I sense a perversion on your part in this obsession to know all about people's tatoos and their childrens.

Would you use that word about anyone who has looked at tattoo parlor portfolios?

So many people do; this is why they are there.

I used the word 'perversion' concerning you and this obsession of yours. It doesn't matter how else I might use it. That is my sense.

(Often it's the young generation that shows more interest in getting inked.)

I think they are too busy to consider it right now. And although they are exposed to them, they still prefer the temporary transfers. Lol

I think I would take that person more seriously.
Yes, I do think that not a few serious-minded Christians (these days of both genders) who have been convicted to take the plunge and submit to faith based inking are likely very conscientious believers indeed, aren't they?

I think it would break the ice and let people know where you stand from the get-go. That's always difficult breaking it to strangers that you don't necessarily see things their way.

I saw a quote about how among healthcare workers a tattoo can work as an ice-breaker with patients; it certainly works in witness situations also.
