What this means is simply this:
1. All human beings are sinners, and God desires all to be saved.
2. Christ died for the sins of the whole world.
3. God offers the gift of eternal life to all who will obey the Gospel.
4. But failure to obey the Gospel will prevent anyone from being saved.
So according to your theory, all those who have not heard of the one name given under the heavens whereby we might be saved are eternally lost, this would include a great percentage of mankind, not only those presently living who have never heard this name (in order that they might believe in him), but likewise all those prior to the one name given, a name which was unknown to the world for the first 4000 years until our Lord's first advent.
This would of course include quite a few notable souls, including Adam, Moses, Abraham, Issac, Jacob as well as all the prophets with the possible exception of John the Baptist.
But of course, even though the scriptures expressly state that there is no salvation outside of Christ, you are going to try to attempt to convince us that there is another way, that all these faithful ones of the past are exempt from this rule and that the Lord has provided a completely different way for them, one in which they need not come through Christ.
Sorry but as the Lord states anyone who attempts to come by any other way save that which is in Christ is a robber and a thief.
