First there is Limited Atonement, the idea that Christ died for only a select few.

Then there is Unconditional Election, the concept that God chooses people for salvation not based on their decision to receive or reject Christ.

Tell me how the latter doctrine does not teach that god arbitrarily chooses who He will redeem and not redeem?

We are not being hurt at all Charity.
The two Kingdoms clash.
Attacks are made and defended.
If people want to contend for the faith,they need to address the scripture in question. Any reader can see some trying to stay on topic and someone avoiding the scripture.

You would know the doctrine perfectly then; so explain to me how the following understanding is confused; based on two of the major tenets in the Calvinistic TULIP.

I would love to understand your doctrine; although I would never subscribe to it because every last one of you that purports it is a bearer of bad fruit, from my experience: and I do not want to become a bearer of bad fruit as are all of you; because I consider that the negative fruit (briers and thorns) that comes from the lot of you comes from the basis in your doctrine.

God is not a respecter of persons. If he did not arbitrarily choose whom he saves, he would be a respecter of persons. As you imply when you think he foresaw and saved the self righteous.

If you go to the original link, I changed it so that it links closer to the end of that thread where it will become more clear what I am talking about. It even becomes clear that certain people were even requiring me to hunt the thimble; so I can see where you are coming from on that.
