John 3:16,
16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Galatians 1:11-12,
11 But I certify you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached of me is not after man.
12 For I neither received it of man, neither was I taught it, but by the revelation of Jesus Christ.
Galatians 1:15-16,
15 But when it pleased God, who separated me from my mother's womb, and called me by his grace,
16 To reveal his Son in me, that I might preach him among the heathen; immediately I conferred not with flesh and blood:
These verses at a glance are very familiar to the avid bible student. We have heard John 3:16 quoted probably more than any other verse. What should be pointed out is; these verses are loaded with information. The student must glean and reglean to get the information that is coming from them. Of coarse it is with the help of your teacher the HolySpirit. There are some verses such as these that you can not get revelation on and then walk away thinking that is all there is in them.
It may be that in time there might be a word or term in that verse the HolySpirit uses to open your understanding and further your knowledge of something particular. John 3:3 for instance lets you know that without a birthing taking place, there is no salvation, that needs to be looked at until your eyeballs fall out because it will be your number one truth to moving in God spiritually.
Proper understanding of this verse cuts through doctrine, dogma, many hair splits and so forth. You will not have to prove anything you just simply move on in your understanding, this is not a matter of who is right or wrong. What did paul say when he had a revelation of the indwelling Christ in him "immediately I conferred not with flesh and blood." There will be those around to confirm to you on what you are seeing, you just move on.
