Strange fire certainly exists, but as we see the verses where we hear about strange fire there is also a fire from God:

"And Nadab and Abihu, the sons of Aaron, took either of them his censer, and put fire therein, and put incense thereon, and offered strange fire before the LORD, which he commanded them not.

I could simulate this very easily with a faulty commercial air conditioner.. I’ve even experienced it in my car. But who knows maybe that was a glory cloud.

The wife and I have a very close friend who is and has been involved with this church for a very long time, and I do have to say they practice some bizarre things. They’ll lay on the graves of passed Christian people to try and receive the residual of their anointing?

Yeah, they also tried, and failed, to raise a girl from the dead in December. These people belong in insane asylums.

Being the other side of the pond the majority came in whilst I was asleep and that makes it very difficulty for me to find points at which i would otherwise have joined in.

It wasn't his full glory in Luke. Bethel church claims this was full glory.

I can only put it this way, simplest i can do.

If Christ is a tin of paint, purest white you have ever seeing, so brilliant it blinds you, than you can make every religion, no matter which a different color, be it red, blue, green, orange, pink whatever, pick the color that suits, so when you join that religion that is the color you will become, it cant be helped, its like sticking a paint brush into a tin of paint it not going to come out any other color than the color of the tin you put it in, so any man who says he is in Christ, that joins a religion, well that white wont stay white for long, the religion, whatever the color, will stain and change the color, never will it be white ever again, but than if you leave that religion, than He is able to clean your garment its His good pleasure to do so,

1Co 6:17 But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit.

As for church, if you are in Him than you are in His church has nothing to do with mens religions.

my friend lives for Bethel. She is in school there. She is a beautiful intelligent single mother who has raised her only son completely alone. He is grown now. She feels like they are all family there. She and I don’t agree about Bethel, or the things they practice. I’ve heard it all. Even for a time listened to Bill Johnson’s podcasts but then went away from it. Point is, my friend is otherwise very normal and a loving person. She just wants somewhere to belong. Yes, she has mentioned going to lay on graves for anointing. She is bold and courageous but maybe secretly more of a follower than she is aware. “These people belong in insane asylums.” I wouldn't say so. No more than any other denominations.
