He has already decided. And now you have done it to me, and to God.

Keep digging, you're almost there.

It remains true that God does not lie. And Trump lied to us, while he was telling republican senators something entirely different. And you have no affect whatever on how He judges and who He judges.

Let go of it, and be content with who you are.

There is no incentive to trust the media on anything whatsoever.
There are definite limits to free speech. Journalists can and should be prosecuted for shouting "FIRE" when there is no fire.

Getting back to the panic created by an incompetent Director General of W.H.O.(who is also a buddy of the Communist Chinese), here is what we have:

FROM THE GATEWAY PUNDIT

WE WERE RIGHT! Dr. Birx Confirms WHO Was WAY OFF in Their 3.4% Mortality Rate and It Will Likely Drop Under 1% As TGP Predicted

by Jim Hoft March 24, 2020

It’s official. President Trump and Dr. Deborah Birx confirm The Gateway Pundit reporting on the coronavirus mortality rate.

Last Monday The Gateway Pundit FIRST reported on the controversial Ethiopian politician and Director General of the World Health Organization (WHO),Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus. Tedros claimed in a press conference on March 3, 2020, that the fatality rate for the coronavirus was 3.4% and many multiples higher than the common flu mortality rate of 0.1%. This egregiously false premise has led to the greatest economic panic in world history.

The Director General of the WHO spoke on March 3, 2020 and shared this related to the coronavirus:
While many people globally have built up immunity to seasonal flu strains, COVID-19 is a new virus to which no one has immunity. That means more people are susceptible to infection, and some will suffer severe disease. Globally, about 3.4% of reported COVID-19 cases have died. By comparison, seasonal flu generally kills far fewer than 1% of those infected.

This statement led to the greatest panic in world history as the global elite media shared and repeated that the coronavirus was many, many times more deadly than the common flu.
The problem is his statement is false. It was not accurate!

As The Gateway Pundit reported a week ago Monday, the coronavirus mortality rate reported by the media as stated by Dr. Ghebreyesus is completely inaccurate...
The Gateway Pundit was the first to report on this. A look at the numbers:

** Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus used the actual number of deaths due to coronavirus divided by confirmed cases to get his 3.4% mortality rate number (from last week -since that time the mortality rate based on current reportednumbers is near 4%)

** Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus then compared the actual coronavirus mortality rate to an estimated flu mortality rate of 0.1% — The US flu mortality rate is based on an estimated 22,000 deaths divided by an estimated 36 million flu cases giving a 0.1% mortality rate.

** Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus compared known numbers for coronavirus (3.4 percent mortality rate)
but did not include the estimated number of those infected who are asymtomatic. This number is likely in the tens of thousands and could be in the millions! There is no way of knowing right now. One study released this week revealed that 6 of 7 people infected by coronavirus are asymptomatic! They do not know they are infected! [Note: I already posted this in another thread and was mocked for being a sensationalist]

** Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus then compared the known numbers of 206,845 cases of coronavirus to the millions of estimated annual cases of flu cases. Again he does not include the asymtomatic cases, the 6 of 7 people infected who do not suffer severe symptoms.

** If asymtomatic cases are included in Ghebreyesus’s calculation the actual mortality rate of the coronavirus is somewhere between 0.2% to 0.8% or lower.

Ghebreyesus compared apples to oranges and his numbers were completely inaccurate!

On Tuesday Dr. Deborah Birx confirmed our earlier allegations that the WHO was wrong with their coronavirus predictions. The actual mortality rate will be significantly under 1%...

...Dr. Birx: Yes, you know the estimate in Wuhan was originally. It was over three percent. When they (Chinese) looked outside of Wuhan it was 0.7%. In South Korea it was 0.7 to 0.8%. That’s like a tyranny of averages. That’s probably missing 50-60% of the data because no one was testing asymptomatics. Remember in every country you had to be symptomatic to get a test. So we’re making case fatality rates when we’re missing a significant part of the data.

The Gateway Pundit was right. And we were first with this news.

The media and medical experts have not yet discovered the absolute irresponsible comparisons coming from the World Health Organization Director that set this global economic panic into motion.

WE WERE RIGHT! Dr. Birx Confirms WHO Was WAY OFF in Their 3.4% Mortality Rate and It Will Likely Drop Under 1% As TGP Predicted

[QUESTION: WHY HAS THE DIRECTOR GENERAL OF W.H.O. NOT BEEN FIRED AND REQUIRED TO PAY DAMAGES?]

There are definite limits to free speech. Journalists can and should be prosecuted for shouting "FIRE" when there is no fire.

You do realize that when Trump was telling us that everything was "contained", he was telling republican senators that it was going to be really bad, don't you?

In this case, there's a fire that's growing exponentially. Even Trump finally admitted the fact. The media made it impossible for him to deny it.

The influenza mortality rate does not include the estimated number of those infected who are symptomatic. How could it?

In either case, we have no way of knowing. All we know is that of those who are actually identified as having the virus, COVID-19 is a bit more than ten times as lethal.

I suspect that there are more asymptomatic cases of COVID-19. Based on the way the pandemic numbers are coming in, it looks as though the mortality rate is a bit over 1%. Over 10 times the mortality rate of influenza, not over 30 times. But it could be anything in between.

I had previously read an article in USNEWS:

Why the Flu Is Still a Bigger Threat to Americans Than Coronavirus. While concerns about the coronavirus are growing, experts warn people not to forget a deadlier virus: the flu.

More than 8,000 people in the U.S. have died from the flu this season, which peaks between December and February, according to CDC estimates.

During the 2018-2019 season, the CDC estimates 16.5 million people went to a health care provider for the flu and more than 34,000 people died in the U.S. The prior season saw 61,000 deaths.

If so, your behavior would show it. You condemn yourself. We all do, even the best of us.

Luke 18:11 The Pharisee standing, prayed thus with himself: O God, I give thee thanks that I am not as the rest of men, extortioners, unjust, adulterers, as also is this publican. [12] I fast twice in a week: I give tithes of all that I possess. [13] And the publican, standing afar off, would not so much as lift up his eyes towards heaven; but struck his breast, saying: O God, be merciful to me a sinner. [14] I say to you, this man went down into his house justified rather than the other: because every one that exalteth himself, shall be humbled: and he that humbleth himself, shall be exalted.

It's always tempting to think of one's self as somehow better than other men. I am a sinner; I know it, and seek to be better, even if I often fail. And yes, that can be a source of pointless pride, too. Remember who you are, and this will cease to distract you.

The death toll is accelerating, while in South Korea, prompt action has flattened the curve and brought the pandemic under control.

We missed that chance by denying the truth, and now many more will die as a result.

Flu is easier for the health care system to deal with since bed rest and lots of fluids are what most people need. They can stay at home. More severe cases may get antiviral medicines. I think most of them also stay home. So while lots of people do wind up dying from it, it's not overwhelming the health care system. Most people recover from the coronavirus too, but the people who get really sick need help breathing -- in hospitals -- and there is a shortage of beds, ventilators, masks, and so on. It's also exposing more medical personnel to danger in a way flu patients at home don't, so there are doctors and nurses getting sick.

It's overwhelming the system in some places. The danger now in New York City is a shortage of beds. More people with other medical problems may be turned away and told to wait. The medical navy ship being sent by Trump should help out with that. I think (don't quote me) that the plan is for non-virus patients to get help on the ship.

Other flaws or weaknesses in the health care system seem to be coming to light. The face masks being used are used only once. They can't be washed and sterilized to be reused. Just manufacturing the number of face masks needed has now become a problem. Someone has invented a face mask that can be recycled by washing and sterilized. The dental and medical systems should have had reusable masks long ago. The amount of trash one dental office produces is fantastic. It's not environmentally friendly and it adds to the cost of care.

Leadership in the US seem to be in a Catch 22. The harder they push for shutting down of businesses, the more lives they save, at the cost of the US economy, which will also have a ripple effect worldwide. But if they loosen up on the restrictions in order to help save the economy, then they risk the virus spreading more and becoming an even greater risk to our citizens. Slamming the brakes on our economy will cause devastating pain on many people with lost jobs, lost wages, lost pensions and even bankruptcy. Regardless of what decisions are made, the fingers will still get pointed at our leadership for not making the right choices at the right time.

Yep. South Korea avoided this dilemma by acting promptly. But we missed that window. Now, it's going to be costly in lives and in economic pain.

We're not all going to die. But more of us will die because of the cover-up

He knew it was coming and knew it was bad. His administration even told senators the truth at the same time they were lying to us.

Trump Officials Warned of Coronavirus Economic Impact Before Senators Sold Off Their Stock
In a Jan. 24 briefing, top health officials were blunt that the coronavirus was going to have a deep effect on American society. In the days after, some lawmakers dumped stocks.

Trump Officials Warned of Coronavirus Economic Impact Before Senators Sold Off Their Stock

Lying to Americans was the problem. Initially, that caused panic, and runs on stores. Fortunately, most Americans quickly adjusted to the reality that their president was lying to them, and found information elsewhere. State, county, and local governments ignored Trump and began to do the necessary things; hopefully, that will limit the damage Trump did by ignoring the problem until it spun out of control.
What lie was given?

What lie was given?

In the 11 days since he declared the coronavirus pandemic a national emergency, President Donald Trump has repeatedly lied about this once-in-a-generation crisis.

Here, a collection of the biggest lies he’s told as the nation barrels toward a public-health and economic calamity. This post will be updated as needed.

On the Nature of the Virus

When: Friday, February 7, and Wednesday, February 19
The claim: The coronavirus would weaken “when we get into April, in the warmer weather—that has a very negative effect on that, and that type of a virus.”

When: Thursday, February 27
The claim: The outbreak would be temporary: “It’s going to disappear. One day it’s like a miracle—it will disappear.”

When: Monday, March 23
The claim: If the economic shutdown continues, deaths by suicide “definitely would be in far greater numbers than the numbers that we’re talking about” for COVID-19 deaths.
Blaming the Obama Administration

When: Wednesday, March 4
The claim: The Trump White House rolled back Food and Drug Administration regulations that limited the kind of laboratory tests states could run and how they could conduct them. “The Obama administration made a decision on testing that turned out to be very detrimental to what we’re doing,” Trump said.

When: Friday, March 13
The claim: The Obama White House’s response to the H1N1 pandemic was “a full scale disaster, with thousands dying, and nothing meaningful done to fix the testing problem, until now.”

On Coronavirus Testing

When: Friday, March 6
The claim:Anybody that needs a test, gets a test. We—they’re there. They have the tests. And the tests are beautiful.

When: Wednesday, March 11
The claim: In an Oval Office address, Trump said that private health-insurance companies had “agreed to waive all co-payments for coronavirus treatments, extend insurance coverage to these treatments, and to prevent surprise medical billing.”
Read: The dangerous delays in U.S. coronavirus testing haven’t stopped

When: Friday, March 13
The claim: Google engineers are building a website to help Americans determine whether they need testing for the coronavirus and to direct them to their nearest testing site.

On Travel Bans and Travelers

When: Wednesday, March 11
The claim: The United States would suspend “all travel from Europe, except the United Kingdom, for the next 30 days,” Trump announced in an Oval Office address.

Another claim: In the same address, Trump said the travel restrictions would “not only apply to the tremendous amount of trade and cargo but various other things as we get approval.”

When: Thursday, March 12
The claim: All U.S. citizens arriving from Europe would be subject to medical screening, COVID-19 testing, and quarantine if necessary. “If an American is coming back or anybody is coming back, we’re testing,” Trump said. “We have a tremendous testing setup where people coming in have to be tested … We’re not putting them on planes if it shows positive, but if they do come here, we’re quarantining.”
On Taking the Pandemic Seriously

When: Tuesday, March 17
The claim: “I’ve always known this is a real—this is a pandemic. I felt it was a pandemic long before it was called a pandemic … I’ve always viewed it as very serious.”
The truth: Trump has repeatedly downplayed the significance of COVID-19 as outbreaks began stateside. From calling criticism of his handling of the virus a “hoax,” to comparing the coronavirus to a common flu, to worrying about letting sick Americans off cruise ships because they would increase the number of confirmed cases, Trump has used his public statements to send mixed messages and sow doubt about the outbreak’s seriousness.

that same day that a vaccine could take a year to 18 months to develop. In response, he said he would prefer if it took only a few months. He later claimed, at a campaign rally in Charlotte, North Carolina, that a vaccine would be ready “soon.”

When: Thursday, March 19
The claim: At a press briefing with his coronavirus task force, Trump said the FDA had approved the antimalarial drug chloroquine to treat COVID-19. “Normally the FDA would take a long time to approve something like that, and it’s—it was approved very, very quickly and it’s now approved by prescription,” he said.

On the Defense Production Act

When: Friday, March 20
The claim: Trump twice said during a task-force briefing that he had invoked the Defense Production Act, a Korean War–era law that enables the federal government to order private industry to produce certain items and materials for national use. He also said the federal government was already using its authority under the law: “We have a lot of people working very hard to do ventilators and various other things.”

When: Saturday, March 21
The claim: Automobile companies that have volunteered to manufacture medical equipment, such as ventilators, are “making them right now.”

All the President’s Lies About the Coronavirus

Flu shots are not going to help with this version of the flu, unless researchers are able to develop a vaccine quickly. Pray that the do.

Also, I believe this is an animal flu - bird or pig?

We as Christians should not wish plague on anyone just because it fits our end of the world scenario
COVID-19 is not a flu virus it is a pneumonia virus and is suspected to have come from bats (a delicacy food popular in Asian countries)... It attacks the lungs and causes the person to develop pneumonia. This virus is difficult to treat because it has tiny hooks that it uses to attach itself to the air sacs in your lungs. Pneumonia can be very deadly for those with respiratory issues, the elderly who are immobile resulting in shallow breathing, children whose lungs are still growing and whose immune system is very young in developing antibodies, smokers, drug users, diabetics and those with compromised immune systems are the most vulnerable.
It is transmitted when a person sneezes or coughs...the droplets land on surfaces that others come in contact with or a person can breathe in the droplets if standing close to an infected person who coughs or sneezes...it can also enter through the tear ducts of the eyes.
The way you contract it by touching a contaminated surface is by touching your face or putting food in your mouth with your hands or rubbing your eyes. The way to prevent contracting it even after touching a contaminated surface is to wash your hands and use sanitizer.
Infected people should quarantine themselves and avoid kissing others even on the cheek and wear a mask if others are around you.. It has a 2 week recovery time for mild cases and 3-6 week recovery for severe to critical cases.
Well hope that was informative and helpful....lol.

The shutting down of businesses in many countries will almost surely lead to deaths, perhaps more than if they did nothing. I heard a woman talking last week to the BBC on her phone saying she had enough food to last until Friday. A man who made a living buying produce to sell couldn't travel to buy produce, so he was also out of a job.

Ok, I'm just going to deal with the first so many of these because this is just stupid.

When: Friday, February 7, and Wednesday, February 19
The claim: The coronavirus would weaken “when we get into April, in the warmer weather—that has a very negative effect on that, and that type of a virus.”
How do you know this is a lie? We aren't in April yet.

When: Thursday, February 27
The claim: The outbreak would be temporary: “It’s going to disappear. One day it’s like a miracle—it will disappear.”
Again, how do you know this is a lie?

When: Monday, March 23
The claim: If the economic shutdown continues, deaths by suicide “definitely would be in far greater numbers than the numbers that we’re talking about” for COVID-19 deaths.
Again, how do you know this is a lie? We already have a staggering amount of suicide in this country and who is to say it will not get higher?

When: Wednesday, March 4
The claim: The Trump White House rolled back Food and Drug Administration regulations that limited the kind of laboratory tests states could run and how they could conduct them. “The Obama administration made a decision on testing that turned out to be very detrimental to what we’re doing,” Trump said.
How is this a lie?

When: Friday, March 13
The claim: The Obama White House’s response to the H1N1 pandemic was “a full scale disaster, with thousands dying, and nothing meaningful done to fix the testing problem, until now.”
How is this a lie?

How is this a lie? It does not say anyone that WANTS a test, it says anyone that needs one. And on March 6th, when the statement was made, that was absolutely true.

This is what they had talked about, but yes, and agreement overall was not reached on certain portions of this. But was this an intentional lie or a mistake? There is a difference you know.

When: Friday, March 13
The claim: Google engineers are building a website to help Americans determine whether they need testing for the coronavirus and to direct them to their nearest testing site.
This is not a lie. Google verified it.
