That is a highly unqualified statement based on unbelief. We are to be perfect as the Father is perfect. To do so we must enter into Christ. But this is by faith....not by the kind of incredulity you are exhibiting. It is no wonder you have not tasted of His holiness yet.

1 Thess. 5:23 And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Yes, at the coming of Christ. Notice that is not in this life. That is at the end.

Correction is a sign of love. Being harsh is one thing, but defending the truth is another.
If someone sees "David going against goliath", should they "defend" David?

Or justly and simply give true testimony , as seen and heard ?

Yet the messenger of God said clearly, breathed by God in the Bible: NOT as if I have attained....
(for perspective )

For perspective I have said that we go in and out of holiness...in and out of abiding in Christ. Paul had not yet attained a full time maturity in the perfected walk. But he also says...among they who are perfect...etc. So as with all things biblical to see only one side of a truth shows a person lacks understanding in the truth because of a lack of experience in the kingdom walk.

I can say with Paul that I have not yet attained to the maturity of the high calling in Christ. But I can also testify to the power of Christ over sin and the supernatural walk of an abiding in Christ. It takes a certain kind of faith to remain in a perfected walk and think that is ok and sustainable. It is our faith that is tested.

Did Peter walk on water as Jesus did? Most would say they believe it. Yet didn't Peter have a hard time believing he was really doing so?

So did he walk on water or not? When really tested most believers don't believe. They want to believe but can't. And many on this thread are of that sort....they WANT to say they are believers...but really are not so.

Otherwise they would confess that with Christ ALL things are indeed possible. And that isn't just theory.

How does anyone know?
Who does God say in His Word is blameless ?
Why do you show unbelief in God's Word ?
(I thought before that you believe in God's Word - and still positively continue to think so, or to hope so at least)

How would you know? Do you have all understanding? Or do you just claim to know all things? And why side with unbelief and be so certain in that?

:) .....

Show me one person on this earth today that never sins at all. You will not find one.
oh, you mean "living" person..... :)

(those in the grave don't sin any more, not yet anyway, if in the future they do, I don't know; for now, they don't praise God, don't know anything, don't sin... as far as Scripture reveals, apparently)

That's a cop-out answer and not reality.

Really? How many Israelites believed the Red sea parted? All of them! Yet they mostly all perished in the wilderness because of unbelief.

That is the way with mankind. You can lead people to the truth...but you can't make them believe.

And so it is with the spiritual walk.
