Why do you continue to bear false witness, not knowing Scripture nor the Power of God.

We do not interpret Scripture.
Really??? We (men) don’t interpret scripture??? Sooo you have NEVER posted your interpretation of a passage from Scripture on this forum??? There are passages in 2 Peter that prove your theory wrong

Your apostate leaders say that if you interpret Scripture, (or rather speak truthfully), then you are committing sin. Only they are permitted in your cult to interpret Scripture and to tell you what it means.
Soooo you have NEVER interrupted ANY passage from Scripture???

Good day

If you thought you were going to change me, You thought wrong. You made my faith even stronger. Thank you
Not trying to change you at all....only showing you how your interpretation of scripture is not logical.

Within those scriptures you claim as being established by the church, has a principle character, Jesus. From Genesis to Revelation He is revealed as our Lord... Our Brother... Our pastor... Teacher... Savior... And more. He gave us, through His own example and counsel, the means by which we may learn God's will for us... How we are to be saved... And how to conduct ourselves in private and the public sphere. That example was exemplified by the words, it is written.
Who interpreted the scriptures that the disciples could understand them? Jesus did right?
Question. Why would you deny Jesus the opportunity and the right to continue that which He demonstrated with the disciples by going to sometime else?
Jesus FULFILLED and interpreted OT Scripture. He did not interpret the NT because was not written while he was alive. :)

.I think you meant someone else not “sometime” else?

I go to the church, which is the pillar and foundation of truth, for scripture interpretation. You go to YOU....Where does scripture say that YOU are the pillar and foundation of truth and that YOU have the authority to properly interpret scripture????

so you listen to a church, not god

just like I said

thank you
You believe you are listening to God and @Joseph77 believes he is listening to God HOWEVER you both have different interpretation of Scripture. How do you get out of that conundrum???? Please enlighten me...both listening but both getting a different answer....weird

Awesome. Yes, we have no one to blame BUT ourselves, for sure, no riding on the coats. Study to show ourselves approved, divide the scriptures rightly, the Bereans, He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him! We will be standing before God...alone when all is done. :)
Hi,

The Bereans searched Scripture (OT) to determine if what Paul was telling them (oral tradition) about Jesus was true. They implemented BOTH to confirm that He was the Messiah. They combined oral tradition AND OT scripture to come to the truth. So if you want to be like the Bereans you should do both.

Thank you.

Sooo when you study scripture diligently and another Christian studies diligently and you both come up with a different interpretation of the same passage who’s interpretation is valid? Which one of you are twisting scripture and coming up with a false doctrine?

He is not.
God is faithful and true.
He cannot ever contradict Himself, ever, not even once.
Sooo why is there a contradiction in the number of books in the Bible? Is it 66 or 73 books?

There was almost 65 in some denominations. Martin Luther argued that they should also remove James, saying that it contradicted his new doctrine of "faith only."

Likewise, many of the books removed were contrary to various new doctrines of one denomination or another.

He follows Jesus.
I follow Jesus.
The Apostles all followed Jesus.

The deceived ones follow someone else.

Neither God, Jesus,
None of the Apostles, ever said to follow men, let alone especially not to follow such false teachers, ever. ("them")
Your theory is that we shouldn’t follow men. From whom did you get the table of contents for the Bible?

Jesus FULFILLED and interpreted OT Scripture. He did not interpret the NT because was not written while he was alive. :)
KJV John 14
26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

I go to the church, which is the pillar and foundation of truth, for scripture interpretation.
And your church interprets scripture through the lens of tradition. In fact, in some cases placing tradition ahead of scripture. So what happens to that foundation when truth is discarded and replaced with something else?
Where does scripture say that YOU are the pillar and foundation of truth and that YOU have the authority to properly interpret scripture????
I don't know where scripture says I am the pillar and foundation of truth. Can you help me with that seeing you brought it up?
Can you answer the question I asked earlier,? Jesus said He is with us even until the world ends. Why can He not give us wisdom and understanding of scripture if we all Him? Did He not promise that as a faithful Father He would grant us what we ask?
KJV Luke 11
13 If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?
Who inspired the scriptures,? Whose word is it? Did Jesus not promise that the holy Spirit would teach us all truth? Can not the holy Spirit understand what the scriptures mean,?

Someone lied to you, in wickedness, and now you are a good example of that wickedness growing .....

as Jesus says they do not believe Jesus, but tradition and the devil, even over Scripture.

In that passage He is speaking of the Apostles only. According to your interpretation of that passage ALL Christians will be taught “all things” . If you’re interpretation were correct we would all agree on EVERYTHING because the the Holy Spirit is helping ALL of us in “remembrance “. Your interpretation is bankrupt

It is a question coming out from a source of wickedness, trying to defend those opposed to Jesus, trying to further the cause of sinfulness in your life and in your leaders who you trust lives.

As long as you believe the false teachings they taught you, such things are always opposed to truth, and enemies of God.
