as Jesus says they do not believe Jesus, but tradition and the devil, even over Scripture.
Scripture says to hold fast to tradition....I believe scripture....not you

Then you should reject the tradition you are holding to that is DIRECTLY OPPOSED TO SCRIPTURE,
and DIRECTLY OPPOSED TO JESUS>

but your 'people' won't let you, will they? They refuse to let you read the Bible for yourself to see this.

Thank you.

Sooo when you study scripture diligently and another Christian studies diligently and you both come up with a different interpretation of the same passage who’s interpretation is valid? Which one of you are twisting scripture and coming up with a false doctrine?

I do not worry about what "you're" interpretation is. Everyone has one...even some Catholics have their differences. God will bring us to where we can understand according as we are able to, little by little with myself. Until/unless He shows me something differently, I stand where I am today. Does not mean I do not take into consideration what others have to say but, I'm not easily swayed by men :) If it lines up to The Word, I'm good to go, and yes, many scriptures have to be pulled apart and compared to other scriptures along with all the Greek and Hebrew translations and so on, so...this is where diligent study (to me) comes in. God knows the truth and He also knows our hearts :) He cares that our hearts are "right" with Him, not about those who just always think their "right". If we are truly open and totally submissive to Him, He WILL lead us there.

Good. or Good?

Some uneducated ones, sheep if you will, Jesus says Hear His Voice, and Follow Him(Jesus), and WILL NOT follow another.

This was truth when Jesus said it to His disciples,
and is truth TODAY, tomorrow, always.

It is a question coming out from a source of wickedness, trying to defend those opposed to Jesus, trying to further the cause of sinfulness in your life and in your leaders who you trust lives.

As long as you believe the false teachings they taught you, such things are always opposed to truth, and enemies of God.
Sooo you really don’t know??? Thank you

It’s a simple question: From whom did you get the table of contents for the Bible?

The Bible was compiled by men, depending on tradition, scholarship, and prayer. God never handed us a document, saying "here it is." We did it.

Your theory is that one should not listen to or rely on other men’s interpretation of Scripture. ESPECIALLY if it comes from the men of the CC. You believe one should only rely on their own interpretation.
This is a strawman argument which can be thrown back at you

Have fun earning your way to heaven, I hope you have enough works. Just remember what Jesus said he would say to those people who did all those works in Jesus name, and pray your not one of them

According to your theory NO ONE has any authority. According to your theory Scripture is the truth but we can never know what that truth is
Anyone who speaks the true word of god has authority.

that counts your church out

well wait, they do get some stuff right

No one can know all there is to know. And although some of us may feel we know just about everything, we may not be correct in all of it. And there are saved believers (of maybe only a few day's knowledge of God) who know next to nothing — and a whole spectrum in-between.

Is God going to give an exam, and send everyone but the most learned and knowledgeable to Hell? What are we going to do if we don't fall at the top of the grading scale? And, what if we have some things wrong? We all know more than we did last year — where would we have gone if we had died in 2018?
“If you continue in my word, you are truly my disciples; 32 “If you continue in my word, you are truly my disciples; 32 and you will know the truth, and the truth will make you free

You believe you are listening to God and @Joseph77 believes he is listening to God HOWEVER you both have different interpretation of Scripture. How do you get out of that conundrum???? Please enlighten me...both listening but both getting a different answer....weird
And our interpretation is different than yours

we will find out who is right when we get to heaven

stop thinking your right and everyone else is wrong, God resists the proud

"The Bereans searched Scripture (OT) to determine if what Paul was telling them (oral tradition) about Jesus was true. They implemented BOTH to confirm that He was the Messiah. <--- Yes, well aware of this, thank you, the NT was not written as yet so, no brainer really.

...They combined oral tradition AND OT scripture to come to the truth. So if you want to be like the Bereans you should do both." <---Obviously. That is why I included "Study to show ourselves approved, divide the scriptures rightly...study diligently"
So if you want to be like the Bereans you should do both." Yes, I am well aware of this, and thought my post was pretty clear about that.
I think she forgets something

Paul did not teach them oral tradition, he taught them the word, they did not just blindly follow him they checked to verify what he said was true
