So? Do then what Christ says, instead of faek preackers ....

Those who are created IN CHRIST JESUS TO DO GOOD WORKS - DO THEM. They are ALREADY SAVED, not by good works.
What is a faek preackers?

No salvation is not a reward

It’s the gift of God

you just nullified the reason of the cross, good going

A reward is anything given on condition of something else. If the rewards disproportionate to the action, free gift can be added.

Salvation is a reward of faith but also a free gift. Languages difficult to use as both things are true and both only partly describe the whole. It describes why pedantic definitions fail, and striking out peoples views misses the whole.

When we meet Him we will see, now we are still growing, amen to those who seek Him with a sincere heart.

Lol...thank you. BTW...Scripture says But do you want to know, O foolish man, that faith without works is dead?

please read scripture before you accuse me of having a reading comprehension kiddo
lol

Yeah

But all those passages say we are saved by faith apart from works

James said if we CLAIM to have faith. He never said they had faith, In fact, The fact they had NO WORK proved they had no faith.

Why?

Eph 2: 8-10 saved by faith NOT WORKS. Those saved by GRACE are created anew for works. ie, they do them.

I do read scripture, and I am accusing you, Because you ignored all the passages i gave you, And gave me one passage which I have explained over and over to you.

Don't try to shove one verse when you refuse to even discuss the others!

You catholics have a habit of that, then wonder why no one listens to you.

A reward is given to people who work for it

A gift is something that someone else pays for out of his own work, and his own hard earned currency

2 For if Abraham was justified by works, he has something to boast about, but not before God. 3 For what does the Scripture say? “Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness.” 4 Now to him who works, the wages are not counted as grace but as debt.

Here is romans 4, Paul says clearly, Abraham could not be saved by works, otherwise he could boast. Or take credit. And if he tried to be justified by Works, it is not counted as grace but as debt, Which means you owe God and you will pay. For all eternity

Salvation is a gift, It is not a work, and can NEVER be earned by works. If it could. It is not of Grace, and it is not a gift, It is a reward.

Good luck trying to earn a gift. When someone hands you a gift out of the love of their heart, and you try to pay for it, and not receive it freely. It means you did not trust them when they said they gave it to you as a gift, And by your trying to pay for it yourself. you actually offend the one trying to love you,'

Remember that when you try to pay for the gift Jesus paid for with his own blood. How offensive that is to him. and would be to anyone else.

You know nothing about the Jews or scripture: Was not Abraham our father justified by works perfect? Do you see that faith was working together with his works, and by works faith was made perfect?

Bible study Mary

Yes, Abraham was justified by works. Or, more likely "work". He trusted God and he offered up Isaac...once. Rahab opened the door to the spy's...once. God can use a prostitute for His good.
Hebrews 11:31
"By faith the prostitute Rahab, because she welcomed the spies in peace, did not perish with those who were disobedient."

We do NOT "earn" our salvation by doing good deeds...our salvation has already been bought and paid for by Christ. Good works come from the heart, period...not obligation or law.

Well, since scripture says We must have both (faith and works) then I guess we should have both.

Happy Easter
