I've been reading Chapter 40 in the book 'The Great Controversy'. I think we all need to read it...I found it immensely inspiring so I've uploaded the book because I couldn't isolate the chapter for you. Soooo, check it out, 'Chapter 40 - God's People Delivered' and give me some feed back.

A bit to cover in this Chapter. Anyway from first paragraph:

"When the protection of human laws shall be withdrawn from those who honor the law of God, there will be, in different lands, a simultaneous movement for their destruction. As the time appointed in the decree draws near, the people will conspire to root out the hated sect. It will be determined to strike in one night a decisive blow, which shall utterly silence the voice of dissent and reproof."

The above first paragraph of Chapter 40 is being executed over these last decades. Although the final drive to convert the world to complete evil and triumph over God's people shall occur in a matter of months. And it shall be soon.

This evil is indeed revealing itself from the highest and once secretive levels to the evil possessed by the common man on the streets. Lawlessness, apathy, lust and selfishness is building as a violent volcano waiting to erupt and spill over.

t starts with the manufacturing of fear and this is maintained and incrementally increased as planned stages or phases. Like plumes of dark smoke, spewing its destruction in spurts for now, they eventually envelope all the lands of the world.

I see an eventual last picture of the 'lost' being very confused, helpless, tormented with a constant look of fear and hopelessness in their eyes, striking out in defiance to their neighbors, and especially those of God. We of God wait upon our redeemer for salvation, in patience, prayer and in an attempt to separate from these mobs.

These are the days that do try men's hearts and entire beings, indeed. The earlier wars of evil and destruction over the centuries were just the warm ups to what we are beginning to see today.

Very soon, when God removes the body of Christ, no man will be in the dark, not knowing. God Himself will be the light of the world, and all will be revealed.

Yet God gives humans on this earth time to decide and yet many will still refuse the Truth equally revealed to all.

Timtofly I see you keep pushing antichrist propoganda in your posts. You are teaching the early rapture doctrine which I have proven in the thread I made that it is false. You are preparing people to receive the antichrist, the false messiah. The word of God tells us in 2 Thessalonians chapter 2 that he (antichrist) must first be revealed before that day (the last day when the Lord returns). You are teaching people to expect the Lord to return when in fact scripture tells us that the false messiah (antichrist) must first come before the Lord returns..

So claiming there is no Antichrist, and that God himself will reveal himself is not of God?

Why would Satan tell you God is coming to punish this world and Satan?

The same claim was made of Jesus, that he used Satan to cast out demons.

There have been many false messiahs who have come and gone.

The man of sin has been here since before Jesus. 2 Thessalonians 2:7
"For already this separating fromTorah is at work secretly, but it will be secretly only until he who is restraining is out of the way."

When the church is taken away and the Holy Spirit. When God Himself is the light for all to see. All will know who this man (Satan) is.

This event happens years before the Second Coming of Christ.

BTW, you want to use a theology made by man. I want to use the Word of God. Of God Himself.

I am preaching the truth. That's the only agenda I have. To bring as many people to the truth of Jesus Christ and the Holy Bible and to edify those that are called unto salvation as best I can. Unfortunately we are living in the end times and Satan's people far outnumber the righteous. As anyone that preaches God's truths knows.

I read Chapter 40 from my original copy of the Great Controversy.
I regard what Ellen White writes there, as fiction and her own personal views of Gods plans for His Christian people.

The SDA church has been confused and deceived ever since their 'great disappointment'. Their insistence on Saturday worship and their strict dietary requirements are not Biblical. They are no better than some of the crazy cults around today.

Having said that, I do have to apologize to those SDA people who do truly love the Lord and Keep His Commandments, they ARE His people.
We are all, more or less; affected by how we were brought up. God will take all of that into account at the Judgment.

Regarding how and when the Lord's people will be delivered, many Bible prophesies tell us that the Lord will gather His faithful people into all of the holy Land, soon after He has cleared that entire area. Deuteronomy 32:34-43, Ezekiel 34:11-16, Isaiah 35
That is our destiny and our great privilege to be alive at this pivotal point in human history.

And what will you do Keraz when the Laws of the land start to incrementally ratchet up the keeping of the 1st day of the week? These laws which are now in the making will increase in severity to the point of the death penalty being decreed for those who honour the 7th day Sabbath.

You might say that will never happen yet look at how circumstance has brought and are still bringing laws into effect as a result of COVID 19; laws that we previously would have dismissed as fiction.

As people entrench themselves against God's Law written with his own finger because it fits into their hermeneutic, the more difficult it will be for them to set aside the pride in their own constructions of God's word when the time comes.

As you have unwittingly said above, '...people who do truly love the Lord and Keep His Commandments, they ARE His people.' just as stated in Revelation 12:17 and 14:12.

While there are some true things stated in that chapter, Ellen G. White has not rightly divided the Word of Truth. She has said nothing about the Rapture, and seems to have combined all end-time prophecies into one homogeneous mass. It is evident that she is focused here on the Seventh Day Adventist beliefs.

It is the SDA's who focus on Ellen White's beliefs.
However, she is right to not fit in a 'rapture to heaven' anywhere. She reads the Bible as we all do and such a thing as God taking the Church to heaven, is never stated in it.

You should be careful to not judge a brother in Christ, James 4:11-12

If you hold to your own 7 or 8 days, why cannot God have God's 8 days?

This earth only has a 8000 years life stamp. The first 1000 was when God took a break from creation. On God’s Monday He built the Garden and placed Adam in it. It has been 6000 years since that Garden. It is time for the 8th, a day of rest.
