Those are big eagles. Is it true that they sometimes attack ultralight aircraft?

This is me the day I had to put my sweet mum into a Care Home...
1993 Horrible, horrible day. :(
But she kept escaping from our house often bare foot, and the police were always looking for her for us. (Quite the hair I have there!! Im only 51 in the photo...Oh to be young again!! )

She said to me- " I think I am going to be a little bit frightened".
It broke my heart. She lived to be 99.

That's a great photo of the two of you and yes, quite the head of hair there! I'm sure it was so heartbreaking to have to do that but, that was part of loving her

A painting inside of Palotti College which is now a Christian Catholic retreat nearby, other Christian denominations can also go for retreats there. I should upload more pictures from there.

This picture makes Mary the dominant person in the upper room on the Day of Pentecost. Not in the Bible. This picture gives a false impression and supports the pagan Queen of Heaven worship.

I am not protesting, hehehe

It just highlights Mary as the mother of Jesus? I see nothing wrong with it. We see the dove (symbol of the Holy Spirit) above all in the picture.

This is the 1956. My mother's very first brand new car was just like this, except that it was 4 door.
I nearly bought one in the late 1960s, but my pastor said that having a large American car required a large American salary to afford the petrol and to maintain it.

Well it was the very first car my mother had ever purchased new from the manufacturer. It was beautiful but also a V8 so likely it used a lot of gasoline, but that was different era. I was not yet in high school, so I was never able to drive it myself. By time I was driving a car it was gone.

Very nice photo of you as well Helen.
She was almost to it like my maternal grandmother who lived to be 100 years and 6 months. She died in August of 2003.

I had a drive of the one I nearly bought, and it was a beauty to drive.

Talking about cars that used a lot of petrol, I remember going on a scout camp in my youth (1960s), and one of the scout masters had one of the round back 1940s Ford V8s. We all returned home on the back of someone's small truck, and the scoutmaster roared past us on the road, and I heard "slurp, slurp, slurp" as his car went by. Seeing that it did around 10 miles to the gallon, I was sure that was the petrol being sucked out of the tank into the carburettor.!

I saw a vehicle once, the fuel consumption of which was reckoned in gallons to the mile...
