About Dairy !

I have not been able to have dairy since my 40's or maybe 30's?
cant remember. [ I am 85 now ]

wonder if any one else has this problem ?????

At times its difficult not wanting to have to take pills.

I gone from one pill, up to 8 pills.

So I stopped having dairy for a few weeks and am able to
use only 6,,,, but I do not have dairy every day.

Any one have this problem.

Any ideas about this ?????

I have been reading about a new kind of milk called A1, that contains genetically different proteins that overcome some of the problems experienced by those who are allergic to regular milk. This new milk is derived from a specifically genetically herd of cows.

Like you, I start every day with my repulsive pill routine. I almost throw up in the process, but I know I must follow orders for my own benefit.

I forgot to mention, I live now with my son and wife and 8 children , so my daughter has to fix a lot of food, and at times
quite often she fixes for me different, but I am sure this can not keep going on. And the pills, I have to take are quite a lot !
I was up to 10 at a time.......... not good ! Down not to 6 pills. But thats not good either.........

Are you talking about the lactase enzyme pills? I became lactose intolerant in my 30's. But in the past few years (late 50's now) I've been able to consume some dairy without too much trouble, I'm not sure, but I think it may have to do with that I was cleansing from an overabundance of intestinal yeast. I spent about 6-8 months taking caprylic acid and probiotics, getting the biggest doses I could find.

My digestion stabilized, some other health issues improved, and my dairy intolerance seemed not nearly so much.

Nowadays I can have small bowl of ice cream or something like that without much discomfort. For the most part I avoid dairy, I don't think it's right for people anyway. Goat cheese, goat yogurt, these are my mainstays.

Yes it has so far....... but I would think after a while my daughter [I-L] would get tired of this, I sure did !
So far, its ok,,, but since it is not for her it would get kind of ???? a pain to keep doing this.
And I do not know why I am still on earth.........I should all ready be with my husband !

I am also lactose intolerant and I believe, gluten intolerant as well. The people in Thailand use a milk substitute because they do not drink milk. Perhaps you could try an alternative that is still relatively cheap....

But there are so many thing the family have home made with dairy and I am not going to keep taking pills, I tried this years ago,
and I was having to take 10 pills, that is way to much. so I cut off for a while, now I am wondering what else can I do ?
Since like every one else I like dairy ! But taking so many pills ? ugggg...
