Thanks for that. I am not new to it. Just new to stuff that has passed me by in my declining years. At one time I had to be up with the latest as I taught IT as a subject but since I have retired I can't be bothered. My daughter gave me a smartphone for my last birthday so I had to learn how to use it. I have made all the basics thanks to her help.

The icing on the cake for me is what happened after the healing. In verse 11 it says that all the people ran together to them (Peter, John, and the walking man) greatly amazed.

Once again Peter was on the ball. He didn't just stand there to accept their adulation. He jumped in with both feet and gave them the facts.

Which was "Hey, it had nothing at all to do with us. Jesus is the go-to guy. You know the one you had crucified. It was the power of his name and faith in that name that made all this happen. But don't worry because all this was foretold by the prophets so get on board and repent, get those sins cleared out, and do you know what? God is going to send this same Jesus again and if you doubt that, all the prophets said it is going to happen so don't take our word for it.

The fact is God wants to bless you and he can if you turn away from your sins. What could be simpler than that?

I know he didn't use those exact words but you get my drift. The miraculous opened the door for Peter to lay it on the line and let them know what was what. Who needs to arrange mass evangelistic meetings? Just a miracle now and then will do it for you.

I was saying something you can never defend. Protestant beliefs vary and every belief put forth by the Protestant revolution is allegedly a belief given to them by the Holy Spirit:

baptism saves/baptism doesn’t save

Real presence in the Eucharist/no real presence

Abortion is murder/abortion is ok with God

Women pastors are condoned by Scripture/women pastors are condemned by Scripture

Gay marriage is condoned by God/gay marriage is condemned by God

My statement still holds true: Unlike the members of your Protestant revolution who can not agree on anything.

I will add to that statement by saying either the Holy Spirit is confused or your hero’s like Luther are confused since all your hero’s say they have been guided by the Holy Spirit into the truth.

Can I ask you a question? Have you ever been told that you are not allowed to preach the name of Jesus?

Have you been put in jail for preaching the name of Jesus?

In Acts 4 it says that the Priests, the captains of the Temple, and the Sadducees came upon them as they were disturbed by the preaching that Jesus rose from the dead. So they grabbed the disciples and threw them into prison. Despite that, they had 5,000 new male converts as a result of their preaching. Whoopee Doo!! Who needs organised mass campaigns. Just a miracle or two will suffice.

Next day they were brought before the rulers, elders and scribes and the High Priest and his family (knees knocking)

So were Peter's knees knocking? Not on your life. v8. Then Peter FILLED WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT... there you have it. Knocking knees or being filled with the Holy Spirit. A holy boldness that is so missing today. WE need to get filled with the Holy Spirit and become INVINCIBLE echo echo echo.

Keep it simple bro..."Let it be known to all of you, by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom YOU crucified, whom GOD raised from the dead, by Him this man stands before you whole."

And while we are at it, there is salvation in none other because that is the only name under heaven by which we can be saved. (So put that in your pipe and smoke it). Metaphorically of course.

If anyone believes we don't need the miraculous needs their head read. The miraculous makes for a great opportunity to speak the truth and let people know where they stand and what they have to do. Three cheers for the miraculous and the sooner we get back to it the better. If leaders are scared of it and won't allow it in their church, then do your own thing and go out there in the market place and make it happen. All you need is to be filled with the Holy Spirit.

All those denominations are at odds against one another, while all claiming to be the one which is right. God himself has given us his word to tell us what the true religion is all about. When we begin to change the word, and to add or subtract from it, then we are guilty of "Man Made Religion".

Here is an example ...

1. there was no sprinkling done for water baptism in the Bible.
2. there was no infant baptism in the Bible.

Mark 16:16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.
(infants cant yet "believe")

1 Corinthians 7:14 For the unbelieving husband is sanctified by the wife, and the unbelieving wife is sanctified by the husband: else were your children unclean; but now are they holy.


The Protestants came from the "MOTHER HARLOT" in the book of Revelation, which has daughters. Her daughters are the churches that embrace the mother's core doctrine, the Trinity.

Mary, remember that I am not only talking about Catholics here, but Protestants too.


In the Bible the church is always portrayed as a woman. The true church in the bible is symbolized as a virgin.

Deuteronomy 6:4 Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God is one LORD:


The false church in the bible is symbolized as a "Harlot" - which came up with a doctrine that there is a plurality of deities: God the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Ghost and these are three separate "persons".

And, repeating the command of Matthew 28:19 denies Jesus NAME ... can you imagine Jesus wanting to marry a woman that will not take on His NAME? But they deny Jesus name at water baptism.


Here is a quote from Vatican Council II: 1962-1965...

"We the Mother Church are opening our arms to all of our daughters to return home. Anyone who holds to our baptism may return home without being rebaptized."


The real test is to check the core doctrine of a church, first. Then those that do not embrace the plurality of persons “theory”, see if they embrace the Apostles One God Monotheistic Doctrine.

In hindsight, I probably should have just expressed my condolences for her husband. Proverbs 21:9.

Thank you. It sounds like you are suggesting majority rules? If a majority of Christian denominations agree on a certain doctrine (Trinity, baptism) then that doctrine is the true doctrine and in line with what God intended for Christianity?

Therefore, to get to the Truth, according to God’s Word, one MUST return to the Apostles Doctrine.
