I guess by most of the posts here that KC is not the flavour of the month. Let's face facts that he is who he is and what he is because the people supported him with their money so I guess in a sense it is our own fault.

In my reading of the background to the NTC it is very clear that they were very dedicated to caring for the poor and needy. They would go without themselves if it meant a poor person had a meal that day. Basically to be rich was unheard of because what came in went out to meet needs.

I support financially ministries that reach out to the poor and needy. The world is full of them. I really can't see that God is calling us to amass fortunes for ourselves unless we use it to help others less well off.

If I won Tattslotto, those ministries would see a big increase in my support for them. None would see a new jet in the driveway.

I don't know of any "true" Words of faith preachers that are not living in the blessings, protection, prosperity of God!!!
It is not necessarily prosperity in material possessions or monetary wealth. A Christian living in poverty can have the blessings, protection and prosperity of God. In fact, this is the gift of God given to all those who are genuinely converted to Christ.

But wealth gained by fraudulent promises of increased wealth and guaranteed healing, is not blessing or prosperity from God. God does not use fraud or lies or any other evil, ungodly practices to prosper believers.

The Pharisees relied on this view to determine who was blessed of God and who wasn't. They deemed themselves to have advantage as was highlighted in Jesus's parable of the Pharisee and the tax collector.

Luke 18:10-14 “Two men went up to the temple to pray, one a Pharisee and the other a tax collector. The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, ‘God, I thank You that I am not like other men—extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this tax collector. I fast twice a week; I give tithes of all that I possess.’ And the tax collector, standing afar off, would not so much as raise his eyes to heaven, but beat his breast, saying, ‘God, be merciful to me a sinner!’ I tell you, this man went down to his house justified rather than the other; for everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted.”

Who would say God wants His children sick and poor??? Think!
Do you really think that is what is being implied GISMYS_7?
Be mindful you do not use these inaccurate arguments to attempt to shore up your position.

It is evident your focus is on temporal wealth.
For out of the overflow of the heart the mouth speaks’...Jesus. (Matthew 12:34).

Who would say God wants His children sick and poor??? Think!

Who says we are suppose to be rich? Was Christ materially rich? Were the apostles materially rich? To think the Gospel and Christ coming was to make people filthy rich is to court paganism. The idea that every Christian must be wealthy and healthy subverts the true Gospel message of Salvation and make scoundrels rich.

I suppose one could apply the same principle to religious systems.

What! A fellow who has extorted millions of dollars from the faithful who thought they were giving to God's work, when it went on his big mansion and his fleet of jets?
He has lied to the people in making them believe they were giving to God's work when he was keeping most of it himself.
He has stolen God's money for is own use.
He is taking the Lord's name in vain every time he says "In the name of Jesus" to promote the false prosperity and guaranteed healing doctrine.
He is using God's money to feed his own personal greed.
He is presenting a god who is not the God of the Bible and is encouraging people to be their own "gods".

This makes him a lying, thieving, blaspheming, idolatrous, coveting person at heart, and in continuing in what he is doing shows he has not repented, and therefore is showing that he is a hypocrite.

This means that he has no authority to use the name of Jesus for anything because he is not representing the Jesus of the Bible, who hates sin and love holiness.

Tell it Paul C.!
"Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron;"
I wonder who they are speaking of here??
Money has become their God. And, many will fall with them and never grow an inch from the day they started buying into this bunk.
1 Tim. 4:2

"How long will this continue in the hearts of these prophets who prophesy falsehood, these prophets of the delusion of their own minds?"
Jer. 23:26

Seems not until Christ returns...

This is the reality of heresy within protestantism... Could have posted this on that other thread 'heresy' ...I wonder if anyone here has their eyes open sufficiently to discern what's happening here?

Total Ecumenism and seemingly teaming up with the enemy...
Used to watch him, and many the likes of him in the 90's. He has gotten so transparent to me that he looks like glass! How do people fall for this showmanship??!

Let the facts speak for themselves. The US just had a record number of cases. Copeland did not hear from God when he gave that false prophecy.

U.S. hits highest single day of new coronavirus cases with more than 45,500, breaking April record

The U.S. broke its record for the highest coronavirus cases recorded in a single day, with 36,358 new positives reported on Wednesday, according to a tally by NBC News.

Wednesday’s cases top the previous highest day count from April 26 — the first peak of the pandemic in the U.S. — by 73 cases, according to NBC News tracking data. The World Health Organization saw its single-day record on Sunday with more 183,000 cases worldwide.

You have been fooled by a con man. Haven't most of us at one time or another? There is no shame in that; but if people continue to believe con men after they are exposed, they have only themselves to blame.

He sure does...no discernment. I too was caught up with all that emotional, gimme, gimme money and health stuff too. They are slick, these Rock Star preachers.

Those who give the Gospel are due their food, shelter and clothing. And yes, they should get that "double blessing" but...the mansions and the cars and the jets...really??? For the life of me, I cannot understand how easily people will fall for lies. SMH

prosperity is a blessing but poverty is a curse!!!

Prosperity can be a curse, it easier a camel to go through the eye of a needle than a rich man to enter Heaven. Christ didn't go to the rich and healthy, but to those who needed a Physician. He didn't com to make man rich but to save man. The person closet to Christ to Christ heart is not a rich man

Jesus was not poor!!! Judas's job was to take care of the money box. Do you have enough money as to have a special man to carry your money??
Jesus gave that box to Judas to take care of. Of course, the money did not belong to Judas. Jesus was the one who would tell him how to use it. But do you know what Judas did after a while? He started to take money from the box when he wasn’t supposed to. He would take it when the others were not looking. He became a thief.
John 12:6==He did not say this because he cared about the poor but because he was a thief; as keeper of the money bag, he used to help himself to what was put into it.

Jesus was not poor!!! J

The Son of Man had no where to lay His head, doesn't sound rich to me. You have bought into a lie that many before you have and like many before you, you don't want to leave that lie.
