Well I do have a pre-trib rapture view of the end times, so I do believe true Christians escape all this.

So would you say the harlot is the world system in the end of ends?

I believe in a Post-tribulation coming of our Lord Jesus and gathering of His Church. I'm non-denominational, but my ancestors (on Dad's side) were French huguenots (first French Protestants) that escaped Catholic persecution in 17th century France and came to the Americas.)

The "one world government" by the globalists today is what the Revelation 13:1-2 first beast of ten horns, seven mountains, and ten crowns is about for the end of this world. I am a very... strong believer in that as revealed by our Lord Jesus.

The actual 'harlot' of Rev.17 we are told is a "great city". That means it's not a pope. And I showed enough Scripture from God's Word to show that "great city" is about Jerusalem, and not Rome. Could a deceived pope and members of the Catholic Church still be involved in that for the end, being deceived? Yes. But that Babylon harlot is still not the Catholic Church nor a pope, nor Rome.

Our Lord Jesus' Book of Revelation is the bookend of God's Word, and contains direct links to events written in Genesis about the beginning. One of the main events in all of God's Word is about Satan's original rebellion in wanting to be The GOD, and worshiped as GOD. I fail to understand why so many brethren cannot see that the events written for the end with the coming Antichrist to Jerusalem is a repeat of that very event of old.

So I really don't waste a bunch of time discussing men's doctrines. I get right to the point in God's Word as written. Thing is, not that many can handle God's Word 'straight up'. I've asked my Heavenly Father about this in the past many times, and He has shone me some things about it, but I guess we will all know more when our Lord Jesus returns.

A snake had crawled into the house and devoured the momma bird and her babies. I hear it go silent within minutes. That is harsh. Even more harsh is what it reveals. The damage and loss of the helpless cornered and devoured. This place it pretty devastating sometimes. It stands out to me that what was said of Mary in Luke 1:48 For he hath regarded the low estate of his handmaiden: for, behold, from henceforth all generations shall call me blessed.

I wouldn't go that far, religions have been around much longer then the Catholic church.

the catholic church is the church of the state or empire in the case of when it was established. the emperor was its vicar like the king of England is the vicar of the church of England.

today cardinals vote for a pope when needed, then the emperor of the roman empire chose the pope.

its basically the church of the state operating under the authority of the emperor to establish a roman religion, now without an empire to serve, and managed to survive the transition to todays world. by the Grace of God I suspect. if the Vatican went down Christianity would suffer the need to reestablish its influence in the world. the church as an organization in the world doesn't have to be saintly for the Lord to see the big picture, just as the Jews don't have to be saintly for the Lord their God to reestablish them in the promised land.

Its my understanding that Israel forms itself in the image and likeness of its friend the US of A, and in today's world that's way contrary to God's Ways. but they are still there.


also one should understand what the Lord God is doing in the world.

note that on the cross King of the Jews was written in three languages Hebrew Greek and Latin. these languages are the three that the scriptures are preserved in. English doesn't count, some one's always coming up with their own versions of what they think scripture meant, but fortunately we have KJV and the OED.

but no one that I ever heard of is trying to change the Latin or Greek or Hebrew scriptures in the name of better understanding.

so the Catholic church has and does serve its purpose in the scheme of things.

Do you believe in the Holy Spirit?

If you believe in ANY of the above – then you believe in CATHOLIC doctrines that were around BEFORE the Bible was completed and CENTURIES before it was compiled and declared Canonical.

Can I get some historical documentation for your asinine claims?

PROVE that the Catholic Church was established by an Emperor of Rome.
PROVE that the emperor “chose” the Pope – ANY Pope.
