Anthony, I don't look at Christ's words in John 14:16 as "oh those don't apply to me" or "oh the God the Spirit doesn't have the power to teach me things". I don't instead look to men to be my first and foremost teacher. God comes first.

That is true that God gives us knowledge but without wisdom, knowledge can be a dangerous thing. The bible tells us that knowledge makes one prideful but love edifies. 1 cor 8:1 and yes, the devil is a liar and the father of lies.
God is not giving any new or additional revelation to anyone today;No... he hasn't. Just because you have never had a revelation from God, does not mean that God does not work like this any more. It's just you!!!! You have not had a personal encounter with the Holy Spirit. Most folks who believe this lie are in the same position as you are. I am thinking now that you come across as a cessationist. Is this true?

That's a wonderful testimony. And it's proof enough that you experienced God's ressurection power in that situation.

Yes experience for yourself.. once you see it you are never going to die with God on your side.

The word once, means once for all time never to be repeated.

You do not read carefully. It is not enough to "read" it. You must also "hear" the words and keep them.

What of the two witnesses? They have no message from God?

What you have done is take away words from the written book by ignoring passages that don't fit your theory. Reading isn't enough.
