Addressing the Op, the best part I love about this story..... verse 9. John 8:9 "And they which heard it, being convicted by their own conscience, went out one by one, beginning at the eldest, even unto the last: and Jesus was left alone, and the woman standing in the midst."

Hold it!, how can the woman stand in a midst, when it was only her and the Lord left?..... well there was someone else there also.... ain't God good.

Thanks for the reply. Jesus is the ordinal Last, and he is also the ordinal First. listen. Deuteronomy 6:4 "Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God is one LORD:"
ONE:H259 אֶחָד 'echad (ech-awd') adj.
1. (properly) united, i.e. one.
2. (as an ordinal) first.
[a numeral from H258]
KJV: a, alike, alone, altogether, and, any(-thing), apiece, a certain, (dai-)ly, each (one), + eleven, every, few, first, + highway, a man, once, one, only, other, some, together.
Root(s): H258

as the ordinal First he is always with the ordinal Last, supportive scripture, John 8:16 "And yet if I judge, my judgment is true: for I am not alone, but I and the Father that sent me.". for the ordinal "First" is the ordinal "Last" ... another or he's the Diversified one". scripture, Isaiah 41:4 "Who hath wrought and done it, calling the generations from the beginning? I the LORD, the first, and with the last; I am he." I am he is the same person diversified, because the ordinal First is ALSO the ordinal Last, scripture, Isaiah 48:12 "Hearken unto me, O Jacob and Israel, my called; I am he; I am the first, I also am the last." BINGO. the Spirit, "ALSO" diversified in Flesh.

I think also that the accuser was there steaming in his hatred towards the adulterous woman because Jesus forgave her.

ERROR, John 8:10 "When Jesus had lifted up himself, and saw none but the woman, he said unto her, Woman, where are those thine accusers? hath no man condemned thee?"

Okay, I accept that. The devil is not invisible to Jesus.

he was probably the first one to leave when Jesus called them out on their sins.

It may be, however, that this was written from John's perspective and because John didn't see satan, he assumed that Jesus didn't see satan either.

Either way, the devil was definitely at work in that situation attempting to condemn the woman and also put Jesus on the spot.

Still like to know where the adulterous man was, takes 2 too have an afair, but was always the woman that got beaten and killed, never the mans fault...so much for religion. Juts to think, if HE was there and stayed, he too would have being forgiven, but in his mind like ,most men , probably believed he had done know wrong.

No - I usually don't listen to or watch links on this forum.
It's nothing personal.

I WOULD, however, listen to a shorter version if you ave one - but not one 90 minutes long.
Can you sum it up?
If you skip the worship it's about 45-60 minutes long.

But the worship is good...I would encourage you not to skip it but to join in.

Yes, the pastor touches on that in the message. :)

‘Neither do I accuse you...’
I often wonder why Jesus didn’t cast the first stone at her

Because He is merciful and did not come into the world to condemn the world but to save it (John 3:17).

He was at that very moment headed to the Cross, through which the woman caught in adultery would be forgiven, not only for her adultery, but for every sin that would ever be committed by her, and/or had been committed by her, in her life.

He did say ‘go and sin no more’

I totally agree - and that's why they post links instead of explanations . . .
touche.

I posted the link because I believe that you can benefit from the entire message.

If you don't want to listen to it because you think it to be too long, it is because you are lazy or impatient.

Also, it is to prove that the Holy Spirit defended me concerning a previous battle that we had; and that I am not defending myself.

Just shows that we shouldn't be so ready to throw those stones or to condemn sinners.
