IDK I thought they cut the necks. When I butcher chickens, I use an axe and take the heads clean off.

It was sin to eat meat before the flood. Genesis 1:

It then became NOT a sin after the period of the law was over. Acts 10:

no....that said, with the multitude of flesh born diseases and the attempts to combat them through drugs, one never knows what one is ingesting with a meat diet.

You could argue that for vegetables as well with the various herbicides used.

I think that verse would be more about not eating or drinking blood straight from an animal or that's drained from an animal.

So for example I have seen on a tourist show, someone drink snake blood in Vietnam.

That would be something that verse is telling us not to do I believe.

Really people, it's not complicated. If you butcher an animal, cut it's throat while hanging. Standard procedure. It's not about getting every drop of blood out. If you gut a rabbit or squirrel and then remove the head before eating, the blood is mostly gone. Same thing with a deer or cow, however I remember that Dad would slit the throat on pigs and cows very soon after death.
