Teach and give ALL the Bible truths to unbelievers!
Who is the Epistle of Romans written to?...

6 Among whom are ye also the called of Jesus Christ:

7 To all that be in Rome, beloved of God, called to be saints: Grace to you and peace from God our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ.

8 First, I thank my God through Jesus Christ for you all, that your faith is spoken of throughout the whole world.

This is the saints mail.

We don't practice giving the saints mail to unbelievers.

Even if Acts skippers read this, they are mail robbers, not saints themselves.

I never said “ skip it”.....exaggerate much? It is great Book Of the Bible ...... So is Leviticus ....we just do not go to either for Doctrine ....Paul had too many “ mysteries” to reveal yet to stop with that Book....God wants us to be capable Students Of His Word and learn how to “ Rightly Divide” . We need to Glean all that we can from All Of Paul’s Letters Before we try to Teach about this Age Of Grace and how to live it.....Acts dealt with other Matters , equally important, But is not the total story.....
Everything in acts is GOOD for doctrine . It says what was going on and how paul took it to the elders .
SO it shows us what was going on and how it got corrected . Everything in acts is solid doctrine to learn from just as everything else
in the bible is solid doctrine to learn from . We must learn the gosples well , the apostels well.
By learning the new testament very well , it helps us to also better understand even the old holy scriptures .
What things apply and what does not apply . But if have to dig in deep and learn well the new testament .
Cause i see we have basically two ideals floating around and both are wrong .
Some use grace to make void the law , others cling to the law as a means of earning salvation .
While in truth , the law is established upon our hearts in two simple commandments . WHICH by the way
those two commandments would not transgress the law . Love the LORD with ALL your heart , which means we would be hearers and doers of His word . And two love your neighbor as youself . And oh yes love corrects . Be encourged the man called double B .
Time to dig into our bibles and read and praise the LORD .

I beg to differ.

2Ti 3:16, All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
2Ti 3:17, That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.

Well that just kicked the all inclusive lie right to the pits . EXACTLY . Ye must CONFESS JESUS as LORD with your mouth
and from the heart believe that GOD has rose him from the dead .
All inclusive tries to say otherwise . For it says if muslims , buddits , atheist , hindu and etc
are just doing good and showing love ,then they are automatically saved and under the SPIRIT . BUT what a lie that one is .
Cause the last time i checked those are other religions who do NOT profess nor confess JESUS as The only means to be saved .
SO , thanks for briging us this reminder .
ANY LOVE , ANY SPIRIT , ANY WORD that does not POINT to JESUS as the ONLY means of salvation and that he must be confessed
and beleived in , IS a lie and it does not come FROM GOD .
FOR the SPIRIT draws us TO FAITH in who , IN JESUS CHRIST . Now leap up and praise the glorious LORD .

Hello truther .
You wanna hear what the real danger is . How often do folks make claim
OH the bible is the canon etc . YET , yet they say some parts arenot for us .
So then WHY DID GOD include them in the canon . EXACTLY .
EVERY letter wrote , from the gosples to revelation , was FOR the CHURCH which consists of gentiles and jews .
EVERY WORD is for us to love , learn from and feast upon . Now let the glorious LORD be praised .
I mean when GOD spoke to the seven churches , It was not to the seven pagans , but to the very CHURCHS
themselves . Or when paul was writing , or james , or jude , peter or john , THEY was writing to BELIEVERS
I never heard one letter start with , WELCOME my pagan and unbelieving friends . NOPE
it was to BELIEVERS . You are correct .

Yes, he says it to the saved Acts adhering saints, not Acts skipping sinners and Bible teachers.

It is an Epistle(letter) to saved saints you quoted, not an alternative to the Acts 2:38 salvation plan.

Hi.

The N.T. was put together in a particular order for folks to understand and obey.

Matt-John was for sinners to believe in the Gospel.

Acts is what they must do since they believe, starting in 2:37-38(what must we do?).

Romans through Revelation(Epistles) is how to remain saved.

It is shocking how many Christians don't realize this, but piecemeal the Bible together and skip Acts.

Don't tell me you do not confess and believe daily?

How often do you confess and believe since you obeyed Acts 2:38?

Never?

Man, I have had to do this for 40 years now as a saint.

Are you sinless, and need no affirmation when you flub up?

Requirement for salvation mentioned here is to “confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus.” Many will verbally confess Jesus as Lord but will not be saved (Matthew 7:21-23). For Jesus to be truly Lord of our lives, we must submit to Him as our master and obey His Word. As Jesus said, “Why do you call me ‘Lord, Lord,’ and do not do the things which I say?” (Luke 6:46).

Confessing Jesus as Lord occurs when we repent from sin, are baptized in His name, and receive His Spirit. At baptism we call on the name of the Lord for the washing away of sins (Acts 22:16).

God Bless!

In Acts of the Apostles 5:32, it says that God gives the Holy Ghost to them that obey Him.

The question of course, being, whether they obey Him first or whether they receive the Holy Ghost first.

Baptism in Jesus' Name is something that, by definition, we can do in obedience apart from having the Holy Ghost. We will receive the Holy Ghost as the result of obeying Him in this manner.

However, I do believe that for the most part, we cannot obey God apart from the indwelling Holy Ghost...

So the answer would be that we obey the Lord because He has given us the Holy Ghost rather than Him giving us the Holy Ghost because we obey the Lord.

The Holy Ghost is absolutely promised to those who receive baptism in Jesus' Name (Acts of the Apostles 2:38-39)..

He is also promised to those who merely ask for Him (Luke 11:9-13).

In the days of the New Testament, people generally called upon the name of the Lord while being baptized, Acts of the Apostles 22:16.

And as long was we endour to the end, we will be saved: Matthew 24:13

Bible Study Mary

Mmmmmmmmmm, No! One cannot lose their salvation.

Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning (James 1:17).

But, God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him. For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life (Romans 5:8-10).

And, this is the promise that He hath promised us, even eternal life (1 John 2:25).

And, for this cause he is the mediator of the new testament, that by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first testament, they which are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance (Hebrews 9:15).

“Verily, verily, I say unto you, he that believeth on me hath everlasting life” (John 6:47).

“Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life” (John 5:24).

“Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me. And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal” (Matthew 25:45-46).

That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life (John 3:15-16).

Then said Jesus unto the twelve, “Will ye also go away?” Then Simon Peter answered him, “Lord, to whom shall we go? Thou hast the words of eternal life” (John 6:67-68).

These words spake Jesus, and lifted up his eyes to heaven, and said, “Father, the hour is come; glorify thy Son, that thy Son also may glorify thee: As thou hast given him power over all flesh, that he should give eternal life to as many as thou hast given him. And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent” (John 17:1-3).

Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation m received by tradition from your fathers; But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot: Who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you, who by him do believe in God, that raised him up from the dead, and gave him glory; that your faith and hope might be in God (1 Peter 1:18-21).

I know that, whatsoever God doeth, it shall be forever; nothing can be put to it, nor anything taken from it: and God doeth it, that men should fear before him. That which hath been is now; and that which is to be hath already been; and God requireth that which is past (Ecclesiastes 3:14-15).

And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose (Romans 8:28).

“For the Son of man is come to save that which was lost. How think ye? If a man have a hundred sheep, and one of them be gone astray, doth he not leave the ninety and nine, and goeth into the mountains, and seeketh that which is gone astray? And, if so be that he find it, verily I say unto you, he rejoiceth more of that sheep, than of the ninety and nine which went not astray. Even so it is not the will of your Father which is in heaven, that one of these little ones should perish” (Matthew 18:11-14).

“My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: And, I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father’s hand. I and my Father are one” (John 10:27-30).

“And, this is the Father’s will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day” (John 6:39).

“While I was with them in the world, I kept them in thy name: those that thou gavest me I have kept, and none of them is lost, but the son of perdition [Judas]; that the scripture might be fulfilled” (John 17:12).

We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not; but he that is begotten of God keepeth himself, and that wicked one toucheth him not (1 John 5:18).

“But, if I with the finger of God cast out devils, no doubt the kingdom of God is come upon you. When a strong man armed keepeth his palace, his goods are in peace: But, when a stronger than he shall come upon him, and overcome him, he taketh from him all his armour wherein he trusted, and divideth his spoils” (Luke 11:20-22).

Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that in you, than he that is in the world
(1 John 4:4).

There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it (1 Corinthians 10:13).

“For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall show great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect” (Matthew 24:24).

They went out from us, but they were not of us: for if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us: but they went out, that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us (1 John 2:19).

Grace be unto you, and peace, from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ. I thank my God upon every remembrance of you, Always in every prayer of mine for you all making request with joy, For your fellowship in the gospel from the first day until now; Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ (Philippians 1:2-6).

And, the Lord shall deliver me from every evil work, and will preserve me unto his heavenly kingdom: to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen (2 Timothy 4:18).

Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy, to the only wise God our Savior, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen (Jude 24-25).

The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD ; and he delighteth in his way. Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down: for the Lord upholdeth him with his hand. I have been young, and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread. He is ever merciful, and lendeth; and his seed is blessed (Psalm 37:23-26).

And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. Faithful is he that calleth you, who also will do it (1 Thessalonians 5:23-24).

“Satan hath desired to have you, that he may sift you as wheat; but I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not” (Luke 22:31).

Mk 16:16 "He who believes and is baptized will be saved"

1Pet 3 " Baptism, which corresponds to this, now saves you,"

Ti 3:5 "he saved us, not because of deeds done by us in righteousness, but in virtue of his own mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewal in the Holy Spirit"

John 3:5 "Jesus answered, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God. "

The thief on the cross disproves this.

An unsaved person can be baptized and have it save them...

Repenting alone is incomplete. Being baptized in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth for the remission of sins will complete what is otherwise incomplete; and will fulfill the condition of a promise...

In Acts of the Apostles 2:38-39 we have the promise of the Holy Ghost, given conditionally...and the condition is to repent and be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth for the remission of sins.

So then, if you fulfill the condition, you will receive the promise.

Is not the receiving of and indwelling of the Holy Ghost, salvation?

Therefore if anyone repents and is baptized in Jesus' Name, they will be saved as the result; if they were not saved previous to that.

If you merely believe then you "should not perish"....iffy

If you believe and are baptized you "shall be saved."...this is more absolute terminology.

So if you want to take chances, mere faith is all you need.

But if you want to be sure, I would encourage you to be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth for the remission of sins.

For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off; even to as many as the Lord our God shall call (Acts of the Apostles 2:39).

(also take a wild peek at Romans 8:30).

I can appreciate that you love the Lord.

But on baptism, I believe you are sincerely wrong.

Here are some issues that were raised by Matt Slick at CARM.

Questions for those who believe baptism is necessary for salvation.
by Matt Slick

  1. Was Abraham still in a state of damnation when he believed God and was declared righteous even though he hadn't been circumcised?
    1. Rom. 4:1-5, "What then shall we say that Abraham, our forefather according to the flesh, has found? 2For if Abraham was justified by works, he has something to boast about, but not before God. 3For what does the Scripture say? “Abraham believed God, and it was credited to him as righteousness.” 4Now to the one who works, his wage is not credited as a favor, but as what is due. 5But to the one who does not work, but believes in Him who justifies the ungodly, his faith is credited as righteousness."
    2. Gal. 3:5-7, "Does He then, who provides you with the Spirit and works miracles among you, do it by the works of the Law, or by hearing with faith? 6Even so Abraham believed God, and it was reckoned to him as righteousness. 7Therefore, be sure that it is those who are of faith who are sons of Abraham."
      1. Note: Those who believe in New Testament times are to believe in the person of Christ, his work on the cross, his resurrection, etc.
  2. Rom. 4:5 says that he who believes in Him who justifies the ungodly, his faith is reckoned as righteousness. So do you agree that when a person believes, he is righteous in God's sight?
    1. If not, how do you not contradict what the scripture says?
    2. If yes, then baptism isn't necessary; otherwise, they wouldn't be righteous in Christ's sight.
  3. If a person who believes is not declared righteous, then why isn't he?
  4. If a person who believes is declared righteous, then is he righteous without baptism?
  5. Is a sinner who has prayed and asked the Lord Jesus to forgive him of his sins actually forgiven, or is he still in a state of damnation until he gets baptized?
  6. If a person prays and asks Jesus to forgive him of all of his sins, is he forgiven or not?
    1. Jesus said in John 14:14, "If you ask Me anything in My name, I will do it."
    2. If he is not forgiven, then aren't you saying that trust and faith in Christ isn't enough?
  7. A ritual is a set of forms and practices. It is a ceremony. Baptism is a ritual, a ceremony where one person administers baptism to another person. Therefore, if you maintain that baptism is necessary for salvation, are you not saying that salvation is by faith and a ritual?
  8. Can you please tell us if such a man who has believed in Christ and received him, yet dies without being baptized goes to eternal damnation?
    1. If you say no, then baptism is not necessary for salvation.
    2. If you say yes, then he is not declared righteous by faith.

As to Romans 8:30, it's one of my favorite scriptures. It's called the golden chain of redemption for a reason.

Romans 8:28-30English Standard Version (ESV)

28 And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good,[a] for those who are called according to his purpose. 29 For those whom he foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, in order that he might be the firstborn among many brothers. 30 And those whom he predestined he also called, and those whom he called he also justified, and those whom he justified he also glorified.

Who is the person who is doing the calling?
