How to be saved (born again) and join the family of God!

Romans: Chapter 10 verse 9-10-13 GOD SAYS=

That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus,
and shalt believe in your heart that God hath raised him
from the dead, thou shalt be Saved. For with the heart man
believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession
is made unto Salvation. For whosoever shall call upon the
name of the Lord shall be Saved....................

---------------------------------------------------------- ----------------------

An example prayer for those that have never talked to God!

Heavenly Father:........................................... ...............................
I come to you in prayer asking for the forgiveness of
my Sins. I confess with my mouth and believe with my
heart that Jesus is your Son, And that he died on the
Cross at Calvary that I might be forgiven and have
Eternal Life in the Kingdom of Heaven. Father, I believe
that Jesus rose from the dead and I ask you right now
to come in to my life and be my personal Lord and
Savior. I repent of my Sins and will Worship you all the
day's of my Life!. Because your word is truth, I confess
with my mouth that I am Born Again and Cleansed
by the Blood of Jesus! In Jesus Name, Amen

Mk 16:16 "He who believes and is baptized will be saved"

1Pet 3 " Baptism, which corresponds to this, now saves you,"

Ti 3:5 "he saved us, not because of deeds done by us in righteousness, but in virtue of his own mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewal in the Holy Spirit"

John 3:5 "Jesus answered, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God. "

You can be baptized every day of your life and still splash down into hell at death!

We are regenerated by the Holy Ghost; not by getting wet.

If you are baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, the Holy Ghost is absolutely promised to you (Acts of the Apostles 2:38-39).

He is also promised to you if you merely ask for Him from the Father (Luke 11:9-13)

One could be baptized by the water of Niagara Falls and it would all be for naught If one does not undergo the Baptism that is ESSENTIAL to being Saved.....being “ Baptized into the Body Of Christ”...THAT is the Baptism to concern one’s self with.....if you have “ THAT”.....You have all you need....

......if one finds this a little “ Wordy”, you could just cry out like the Publican did— “ Lord, have Mercy on me, a sinner”...... that will get the job done....
That might be too much for some, so try this—- “ Jesus, Save Me”...... guaranteed to get results! It worked wonders for a former atheist like me.....

I’m just trying to show some options......and how EASY God has made Salvation.....all one has to do is accept a free gift.....Your verses are excellent......

The best verse for today may be 1Cor15:1-4, seeing as to how Paul’s Gospel is what God will judge you by.....its always best to be prepared in advance....Are you RESTING in the Gospel Of “ NOTHING But The Blood”—— THAT will be the crucial question come Judgement Day.....If you ain’t “ Resting” you are Working— And God won’t have it.....

Well, you definitely got this correct, ...but words can't express how utterly misguided and perverse I believe that you are in almost all your other posts.

Because:
a) you take it out of context
b) that is not all that God's word says about being saved.

You have to take all that scripture says about salvation not just cherry pick a particular verse.

This is indeed the way to be saved, but it's only the beginning of the road not the end. We must go on to bear fruit.

John 15
[1] I [Jesus] am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman.
[2] Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit.
[3] Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you.
[4] Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me.
[5] I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.
[6] If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned.
[7] If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.
[8] Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples.

Because Jesus says that is not sufficient "He who believes and is baptized will be saved"
What part of and is baptized do you not understand?

Peter says " Baptism, which corresponds to this, now saves you,"

What part of Baptism now saves you do you not understand?

Paul writes "he saved us, not because of deeds done by us in righteousness, but in virtue of his own mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewal in the Holy Spirit"

Pray for some wisdom and understanding=== Yes! Those that believe and accept Jesus as their Lord and Savior are saved and then will want to obey Jesus and be baptized not to be saved but because they are now saved!!!

This is indeed the way to be saved, but it's only the beginning of the road not the end. We must go on to bear fruit.

It is not that after we are saved, we have to consider that in order to remain saved, we are obligated to bear fruit.

It is that, if we truly are saved, then we abide in the vine, are connected to the vine, and draw up nourishment from the vine; and bearing fruit is then inevitable.

We born-again believers are baptized to obey Jesus NOT in order to be saved but because we have believed and accepted Jesus as our Lord and Savior and have been saved and we seek to obey Jesus and be baptized AFTER we are saved!!! Baptizm saves NO one and the proof is a unbeliever can be baptized everyday and still splash down in hell at their death.
Believers bear fruit because we are saved NOT in order to be saved!

First, being baptized is not a fruit of salvation...those are described in Galatians 5:22-23.

Secondly, if someone is baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, the Holy Ghost is absolutely promised to them (Acts of the Apostles 2:38-39).

Also, the process of being dunked and then coming out of the water is indicated as being so that we may walk in newness of life (Romans 6:1-4).

It is not the water that saves; but it is the faith of the operation of God (see Colossinas 2:12 (kjv)), in that you are identifying with Christ in his death, burial, and resurrection; in effect confessing Him before men (see Matthew 10:32). So, in this sense, baptism indeed has the power to save, in that it means that Christ will also confess you before His Father and before the holy angels.

That being said, a man can be saved merely by calling on the name of the Lord Jesus Christ in the privacy of his room (Romans 10:13). If he truly dos this, there will later come a confession of Jesus Christ before men; but that scripture is clear in saying that whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
