Godiva is lower quality than what I do.Yeah, I figured it was something like that. Hey, you are welcome to send me some chocolates if it's as good as Godiva!![]()
They are very expensive and use machines to do what I do by hand.
Mine aren't as consistent (I do try to make them consistent)
But better fillings made from scratch. And my chocolate is usually a tad thicker than theirs.
Home made caramel that screams cream and butter in your mouth...
Coffee and kahlua with fine chocolate is awesome...
Orange centers made with homemade gran marnier...
Grasshopper
Chambord/blackberry filling
Turtles made with local pecans and homemade caramel...
Dried cherries turned into squares and covered.
And home made "almond joy" or mounds candy bars (coconut) covered in chocolate...they might make you spit the ones in the grocery store out....there's that huge of a difference.
