Most of what you post. There seems to be an expression of anger in your posts about what Dan the Man is doing and your desire to move him on.

Sadly, the people who can vote in the State of Victoria have made their choice of which political party will govern the state during the period between the sequential elections. You are the one who is showing your anger against Dan the Man and people who disagree with you.

I have been posting weekly the stats on the covid19 virus infections as reported by the states and the measure of the introduced control parameters being effective can be seen in all the other states within Australia and the measures imposed by the respective premiers of the states are working except in the State of Victoria.

You have been the leader of the pack, supported by outside influences from elsewhere in the world, who has been raging against the wearing of masks and the social distancing and the travel restrictions, in your state and telling people that they are not working and that they are not needed.

Because their is no active filter on the internet to remove the "fake news," most of what is published as the "true" news is lost within the avalanche of false and misleading articles that people have published on the net to support their habit.

It is up to you to properly articulate your beliefs so that others can study them and verify them from the links that you provide as your "proof" of the truth within your post, for them.

We know that a good lie is always wrapped with some "truth" to make it believable.

While you have been not posting over the last few months or so, the level of raging against Dan the Man has dropped to a point where that was not the norm. It would be good if that was still the case, but because of your rage and anger I know that you will continue your habit and flood this forum with, in your understanding, your "news worthy stories."

I wonder how many people simply skip your posts to lead a quite life within their community.

Shalom

I asked u a specific question as to what u disagree on??? They are all media headlines from here...

I am not a left winger. And I probably would consider 7 news centre-left. Some that you are calling mainstream media, are also out to get the Labor government at the moment.

It's wrong and bad timing though, and they should all be focussed on working together to fight the pandemic instead of attacking each other.

Mate, you are tied to the Labour party komrade... Unable to speak against... LoL...:D...
Not my cup of tea but good to understand where people are coming from. Short direct questions is how you learn about people...

Heres a direct question... How are the Brisbane bears looking??? :p
The cats are the cats. Danger literally. The hawks have had some of the most epic football matches against em...
We've got the wood on em. We get up on most of the biggest matches...;)

1989 granny usually gets remembered... Big full forwards back then would kick 10 a match, 150 a season.
We had Dunstall, gun. They had Ablett, gun. And all around the ground the hardest guns around...
Opening bounce one of their players bowled out Brereton off the ball... He was wrecked, pissing out blood he recalls. Played on.
Later they learn it was a kidney i think...

We played like clockwork and got a good lead but they kept bashing us and our men were going down...
Poor Dipper, u know with the moustache like mine... They send the ball into FF with Ablett on the lead and Dipper is dropping back against the flight... Crash... Ablett splits the pack with his hard body like a rock they used to say and Dipper gets smashed from behind... Spitting out blood he plays on... Later they find he had a punctured lung...

And from the 3rd quarter on it was all Geelong chasing down a tired Hawks... Bounce, ball in, Ablett mark, Ablett goal. Our full back, Crawford, a gun, had nothin that day... It came down to the last minute we just held on... One more minute and we would of lost... Ablett kicked 9 i think got BOG. Collects his Norm Smith medal looking shattered....

Ah the good old days... I rate the Hawks team from the 80s the best certainly that ive seen and even all time i can argue...
And i could argue that recent Hawks are the 2nd greatest team ever... Im lucky. If witnessed 9 flags...
Glad i switched from bombers... Would of only had two really young and one around 2000...

Edited the title of this thread to include events.

I am a bit nervous about the Lions facing the Cats, the Cats have a dangerous list of players, more experienced and they got more strength, the way the Lions will have to beat the Cats, is with their agility and they are going to have to be accurate. :p

If the Lions do find a way to win, they should win the Grand Final.

But then of course the AFL is bringing the MCG turf to the Gabba to try and help Richmond win if they play in the Grand Final.

Did u used to play footy? I was no good... LoL... I grew up kicking the round ball... Could read the bounce of the footy...

Who would be the most skillful player you've seen and the most entertaining player youve seen, magic like???

For me, u can't beat Sam Mitchell in skills... 50% opposite foot is unheard of by any player ever. Puts the ball on a dime in a second from anywhere
His handballs were lighting and his decision making was A1.

In terms of edge of my seat magic stuff... Cyril Rioli mate... I just shake my head and laugh at the things he'd do...
Rioli... Portuguese name... His part Portuguese... Thats why his a gun... Like Ronaldo its in our blood... LoL...:D:D:D

This is a nice little presentation hosted by Dermie...
Sit back and enjoy some Rioli magic...

And I thought Rioli was an Italian name.

I played a few times for the school team, but I wasn't much good either haha, the best memory though is tackling a huge tall kid to the ground hahaha, he might have looked twice my size to me at the time, probably an exageration, but it did seem like it at the time.

Jason Akermanis was my favourite when I was a kid, he could snap goals from any angle, and always did those fancy handstand walk celebrations.

Right now my favorite is probably Charlie with the Harley, Charlie Cameron is a bit of a reminder the way Cyril Rioli played.

I am so sorry that my response was too broad for you.

I would be happier if you would not post political slanted commentary, for or against Dan the Man.

As a member of a non snub state, I find the attitude of Victorians generally can be off putting and I have no real interest in trying to influence what is happening in the Vic. Even if I wanted to, I cannot make a mark that could possibly make a difference.

As a Queenslander the areal pin pong does not interest me at all, even though I have a grandson who loves to play the game.

I publish the stats in a graph on Saturday for you to ponder on.

It does show that most Vic. are compliant with the Vic state directives for safe practices during this time of the pandemic.

The trouble is that people forget that they still have to comply with their safe work practices for the pandemic if they do not want a third wave to sweep Vic.

Ye i was joking... Your right but it does sound more Italian... He was a pocket rocket...

I was an early sprouter... By year 9 i was my size now just about... Then everyone caught up... Bui8t i remember running my guts out for this ball...
I go and pick it up and it bounced into my face... I fell over and the other guy got the ball... LoL Class - Less

Ye Aka had some of that Peter Daicos magic powder, goals from the boundary, take speccies, run the field and score, really light it up he could...
For that team Voss and Black come to mind when it comes to hard and reliable, dependable, leaders...

Right now my favorite is probably Charlie with the Harley, Charlie Cameron is a bit of a reminder the way Cyril Rioli played.

Cameron... Charlie with the Harley... Who... LoL...
Im out of touch a bit now, especially this season i don't really know what happened...

@Jay Ross @OzSpen What's the QLD state election looking like?

What is the difference between a Green party member, a Liberal Party member and a Labour party member?

Nothing. They all believe that their elected "Priests" are telling them the "truth" and they believe everything that they, their "priests," tell them within their "church.".

Come to think of it there are unelected "priests" on this forum, who believe that they are sprouting the "truth" as well and that we should believe them, unquestioningly, because of their assumed "priesthood" preaching to the happy, ignorant "unsaved" souls.

:D

In answer to your question, politics is one topic that should be left to the troubled souls as it only creates fights within the common social fabric meeting places.

Josho,

From my perspective, there are clear-cut choices for me as a Christian. I will not vote for any party that supports the murder of unborn babies right up to the time of birth OR voluntary, active euthanasia (voluntary assisted dying). That's why I vote for the LNP, One Nation, and Katter's Australian Party. However, there is no Katter candidate in my electorate. Most of their candidates are in North Qld.

The polls place Labor ahead of LNP on 2-party preferred, 52-48%.

For those who don't understand preferential voting, this kind of statement will be mumbo jumbo.

In my electorate, I will give LNP #1, PHOP #2 and Greens last, with ALP second last. There are a couple independents standing for my electorate.

That tells you I am a conservative voter who tries to support parties based on Christian values.

Jay,

That is simply not true. Last week I had a call from my local LNP candidate. She is an evangelical Christian who works 2 days a week as a chaplain in a public school.

In 2018, when the Qld parliament voted to decriminalise abortion, 'LNP Members Jann Stuckey, Tim Nicholls and Steve Minnikin were among Opposition MPs who crossed the floor to vote for the changes' (Abortion no longer criminal offence in Queensland after landmark vote, Oct 17, 2018).

However the LNP's position was against decriminalising abortion. Your understanding of 'elected "Priests"' of political parties is idiosyncratic to you, Jay. It doesn't line up with the truth of what's happening on the Qld political scene.

I am only quoting both John Howard and Scott Morrison and their reference to the Liberal party as being the "church" of the faithful liberal party members.

OZspen, If you had noticed, I made no comments about the politics of the respective parties, only that the party members believed everything that the party spruiks to their members, publicly and privately.

Neither did I comment on the beliefs, i.e. religious, members of the party, whether elected or just ticket holding members, may also hold.

Now with respect to my being idiosyncratic, that is true for everyone, even you, and the question is were you try to compliment me or not with that label.

It seems to me that you are objecting to me comparing the Church, with the "church" of the faithful party members.

I have been very careful not to discuss the respective parties polices as such. I have only highlighted the generalised characteristic of the party faithful believing whatever it is that they are told by the party spruikers. That was all that my comments were directed towards.

We just have to get the LNP to take in the other conservatives and we have QLD won easy as, but they who truly control the LNP will not because they are in bed with the NWO and they could of won by 12 seats in QLD last time, but no ! they went and handed it to ALP on a silver plater because they are controlled by the NWO.
Many conservatives have jumped ship from the LNP, but if the LNP would come back to their roots and became conservatives again we would not need One nation or Katter ect.
we need to get rid of the LNP and have the Nationals back as a Party again and then if they can win then they form a coalition just as they once did. that's the problem and such only came about by yellow belly black snakes like L Springbag shafted the National Party and created a wimpy Liberal type of nothing Party.
problem with the Liberal Party in QLD is that the stuck up toffs dominate totally and that mob have always been total morons, but the other half of the Liberals are fine people. so you have two types of liberals one mob that I can not stand that create all the problems because they are so stuck up and live in their own little world and the Nationals who are only lap dogs to the toffs rule.

When the Nationals were the Power the toff Liberals were a real pain as they were always trying to undermine the Nationals and then the rot set in with the Nationals and they attacked their Leader and them criminals have worked to destroyed the Party ever since.

It was not the Premier Sir Joh that was corrupt at all in fact and they spent millions, such was an open cheque book and they tried everything they could to try and prove he was corrupt and they found noting at all and then came up with the hide to claim the perjury BS story that has no foundations to make such a claim with in reality, but they make out such is a done deal. that's Slander ! such was not proven at all. but it's implied as a fact by morons and the media. No one has come under attack in the History of Australia like Sir Joh coped all the way through by far. they were just like they are with Trump and pissing into the wind 24/7 with nonsense in the hope that some will stick, that's what the Satanist do.

Look at all the ALP Socialist that have got caught out with corruption, there will always be corruption but we have had much more corruption than ever from 1988 on than ever was and the cover ups are shocking, the rubbish that the Police are forced to do to make the Government happy or to look good, nothing to be seen here ? it's not the police that are corrupt so much but the system from top taking orders from the Government in how to play the cards and the cops hate the Government because they are taking the people for fools ! and the Media brown nose them full on.

The QLD ALP clearly hate the Police and have tried to bastardise them and the courts system, not to mention that's why many of the cops have left the Service due to Political Correctness nonsense ruling over everything turning the who system into a joke but the ALP they are now claiming more cops to help out  but that is not the real problem in fact, all that they are doing is creating more revenue collecting yobbos and young smartarse morons who are more interested in climbing the ladder than real policing serving the community.
Many of the real morons are let off in the system and the average person is been targeted and the ALP is truly working on undermining respect for the police officers. typical ! just like in the USA the same game play is at hand.

Jay,

That also is not true as 3 LNP members crossed the floor to vote for decriminalisation of abortion when the Party position is to oppose decriminalisation.
