Matt 24:27 For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

Jesus told his disciples that He was going to die and rise again and He would come again and receive them to Himself so that where HE IS, they shall be also.( John 14:3 ) He kept His promise and left them and returned to them and received them to Himself in their generation just as He promised.

Mat 16:28 Verily I say unto you, There be some standing here, which shall not taste of death, till they see the Son of man coming in his kingdom.

Luk 9:27 But I tell you of a truth, there be some standing here, which shall not taste of death, till they see the kingdom of God.

It was like a flash of lightning just like He said it would be and most people missed it. They don't even realize it happened. They are still waiting for it to happen.
Jews are waiting for the Messiahs first Coming and Christians are waiting for Jesus Second Coming and Jesus is not coming back to earth in the way most people think or imagine.
He has been here and done that already. He does not want an earthly Kingdom. His Kingdom is Not of this earth at all. ( John 18:36)

Jesus returns constantly for those who LOOK for Him and want to know the TRUTH. ( Heb 9:28 ) He WAS and IS and IS TO COME for ever and ever and ever,( Rev 1:8 ) Therefore people will be waiting for ever and ever for some literal return of a literal man because they do not comprehend that the promises of God are eternal. The bible is an eternal book with eternal promises in it and those promises are relevant and applicable for ever. The word of God applies to the past present and future all at the same time. Its principles and promises never change.

Jesus already came back to the disciples after He had ascended to heaven. He keeps coming back daily and will always return daily to those who LOOK for HIM. ( Heb 9:28 )

Jesus rose from the dead and was in the garden. When Mary recognised Him...

Jhn 20:17-18 Jesus saith unto her, Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and [to] my God, and your God.
Mary Magdalene came and told the disciples that she had seen the Lord, and [that] he had spoken these things unto her.

Now Imagine yourself right there as Mary...You have been the first one to witness Jesus resurrection and physically see Him and talk to Him. He tells you not to touch Him because He has not been to the Father yet. but He tells you to go and tell the rest of the disciples what you saw.

When Jesus saw Mary He told her not to touch him because He had not yet ascended to the Father. He told her to go and tell the men that He was at that time ascending to the Father. She went and told them and they didn't want to believe her. Now, in the meantime Jesus Ascended to the Father because that's what He told Mary He was going to do.
Later He appeared to the disciples on the road and they didn't even recognize Him as He talked to them. They didn't realize it was Jesus till He ate with them again. ( Luke 24:13-53)

Thomas was not there when they ate with Jesus and when they told him about it, He said "I won't believe you till I see Him and can touch HIM." ....Jesus allowed THOMAS to touch Him. ..( John 20: 24-29)
Now why would Jesus tell Mary that she could not touch Him and then tell Thomas He could touch Him ? Was Jesus being prejudiced and treating people differently?
Or was it because He had Ascended to the Father in the Spirit and returned in the Spirit when they weren't watching so they did not see it. He came like a thief in the night while they were all "asleep". (1 Thess 5:2-4)

It was all as fast as lightning. For as like lightning comes and goes in the blink of an eye, if you are not watching for it you miss it.

Mary was not allowed to touch Him because He had not yet ascended to the Father.
Thomas was allowed to touch Him because He had obviously returned from the Father. Otherwise logic and fairness tell me He should have said exactly the same to Thomas as He said to Mary. IE.... DON'T TOUCH ME

In conclusion, we can see that Jesus was on this earth and fulfilled ALL of the bible prophecies and rose from the dead and ascended and descended like He said He would all at the time He was on this earth in the flesh. He then sent His HOLY SPIRIT to lead and guide us for ETERNITY and those who have ears to hear will hear HIM and those who have eyes to see will see HIM and those who are blind and don't want to see will NEVER SEE HIM but will die in their unbelief and go into outer darkness where there is weeping and gnashing of teeth because it is too late for them. There is no resurrection of the fleshly earthly carnal body. Jesus came to resurrect our spirits not our fleshly earthly bodies. He gives us a NEW body after the old one perishes. He does not recycle the old one. Those who wish to be resurrected in Spirit are Born Again and those who wish to remain dead can stay dead. That's all there is to it. BUT when Jesus resurrects your Spirit He says GO and SIN NO MORE.

Walk in the Spirit and do not fulfill the lusts of the flesh.... Put on the mind of Christ... etc.

Mat 24:27 For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

Luk 17:24 For as the lightning, that lighteneth out of the one [part] under heaven, shineth unto the other [part] under heaven; so shall also the Son of man be in his day.

During any given minute, there are more than a thousand thunderstorms around the Earth causing some 6,000 flashes of lightning. Every minute!

The return of Jesus was and is and always will be as fast and as regular as lightning.

Hbr 13:8 Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.
Jesus, The Word of God is the same Yesterday, Today and Forever. The Word of God abides forever. It is always the same Past, present and future and does not change.
The Truth is the same Yesterday, Today and Forever.
Gods promises are the same yesterday Today and forever.
The promise of Jesus return is the same Yesterday Today and forever.
It is a promise which is relevant Yesterday, Today and Forever.
It is an eternal promise which has been fulfilled yesterday ( in the past), It is being fulfilled today ( present ) and will always continue to be fulfilled Forever.( future)

It is exactly like lightning which is always flashing around the earth, 6,000 flashes every minute.

If the doctrine about Jesus return in the flesh as a single man was true, then once He arrived, the promise would no longer be valid since it would already have happened and be in the past. The promise would not be the Word of God which abides forever and is relevant yesterday, today and forever. The only way the scripture can be fulfilled and also still applicable in the past present and future is in the Spiritual realm. It cannot apply in past present and future in the natural realm of earthly time so any doctrine which confines the return of Jesus to a literal future event is a false doctrine. False doctrines are finite. They have a beginning and an end. TRUTH is eternal and infinite. It is the beginning and the end without a beginning or an end.

John 14:19 ..Yet a little while, and the world seeth me no more; but ye see me: because I live, ye shall live also.

When Jesus says the world SEETH HIM NO MORE; The world can be sure they will SEE HIM NO MORE
The world cannot see Jesus because He is invisible to the carnal eyes of the carnal minded people. They cannot recognize the Son of God or TRUTH in Spirit filled people any better then the hypocrites could recognize the TRUTH in JESUS. They simply refused to believe Him just as MOST religious people who claim to know Jesus today don't really know HIM at all. They cannot recognize TRUTH. They call the TRUTH a LIE and reject those who tell them the Truth.

Jhn 14:20 At that day ye shall know that I [am] in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you.

Mat 28:
And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, [even] unto the end of the world. Amen.

Mark 16 ...
And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned

I totally disagree.

There was and is a spiritual coming of the Kingdom. Upon the day of Pentecost when the Holy Spirit came down to the Apostles from that day the kingdom of Spirit started to be built and continues to be built to these days.

But the Kingdom is both Spiritual and Physical. For the Messiah Jesus will return in body as revealed in the Book of Revelation. So the Kingdom of Spirit is as a Kingdom in waiting for the materialization into an eternal Physical reality.

Jesus Kingdom was not, is not, and never will be of this world. It was always spiritual and is always spiritual and will always be spiritual.

The Kingdom of the Lord is the Kingdom of God within you. He wants to rule and reign the kingdom inside human beings not any worldly kingdom in this world.

IF Jesus ever did return to literally rule the literal kingdoms of this world, He would be falling for the temptation of the devil who tempted him to do exactly that and still is tempting Him to do exactly that. Satan, through the false prophets and false teachers in religion, is teaching people that Jesus will do exactly that one day. The devil is deceiving people with these lies and people tend to be ignoring the Fact that Jesus will never fall for the temptations of the devil. Not in the past present or future.

Matthew 4:8-10 Again, the devil taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them; And saith unto him, All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me. Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.

John 18:36 Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now is my kingdom not from hence.

Luke 17: 20-21 And when he was demanded of the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come, he answered them and said, The kingdom of God cometh not with observation: Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you.

Notice Jesus refused to take the kingdoms of the world from the devil. He will never take the kingdoms of the world from the devil. Jesus does not need to have the kingdoms of the world. Jesus has a far greater kingdom which is not one which can be observed in the physical realm. It comes NOT WITH OBSERVATION.
Jesus Kingdom is not of this world, not yesterday, not today, not at any time in the future either. Those who think it will be of this world one day are basically saying that Jesus will make his own words a lie when he sets up a literal kingdom in this world.

Anyone who teaches that one day it will come with observation is deceiving you and calling Jesus a liar or trying to tell you Jesus did not mean what He said and will one day take up the devil on his offer to give Jesus all the physical kingdoms of the world.

The body of Jesus is always on this planet and it dies daily and is resurrected daily at the same time. Jesus ascends and descends daily just like the sun ascends and descends daily, appearing to leave the earth yet never leaving the earth at all.

The only kingdom waiting to be a physical reality is the kingdom in you.

Rom 8:22 -23 For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now. And not only [they], but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, [to wit], the redemption of our body.

The Spirit of God is groaning to become a reality in your body. He wants you to give birth to the Spirit of God in you and stop sinning and walk in righteousness and be perfect as the Father is perfect.
The Church, (the bride of Christ) is the woman clothed with the sun in Revelation 12 waiting to give birth to the Son of God.

John 17: 23 I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me.

I am in Him and He is in me. We are one in the Father.

I am that I am.

Nope. You are wrong to deny the second, physical ,coming of the Messiah Jesus. And you are doubly wrong for preaching that denial.

For the Angels did say to His followers upon the day of His Assention (and he assended in His resurected physical Body)

Acts 1
9 Now when He had spoken these things, while they watched, He was taken up, and a cloud received Him out of their sight. 10 And while they looked steadfastly toward heaven as He went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel, 11 who also said, “Men of Galilee, why do you stand gazing up into heaven? This same Jesus, who was taken up from you into heaven, will so come in like manner as you saw Him go into heaven.”

There are more verses that clearly show a returned Messiah Jesus. Your teaching of a spiritual Kingdom while being in denial of a physical Kingdom is falling short of the complete revelation of the scriptures.

The physical kingdom is the kingdom of God within you. The throne of God is your heart. Your body is the temple of the Lord.
The physical kingdom on earth today is the kingdom of God in His physical body on earth which is the church who are one with Him. He is in them and they are in Him. The kingdom of God is within them . The kingdom of God is on earth today in the same way it was among and within the people in the days of the bible stories.

You may believe I am wrong if you wish but I am in Him and He is in me.
We live and abide in the kingdom of God on earth yesterday today and for ever.

How sad.. You think the world now with all its evils, its abuses, its corruption. its bloodshed, its tears and sorrows is the Kingdom of God for us and shall forever be.....

I thank God that the truth is otherwise. Gods longsuffering to the state of this world for the sake of those whom will accept His will shall come to an end and when the number of those who will believe in Jesus is reached He shall put and to the current ways of this world as it is written in scriptures, shame that you deny His Word.

It seems that "the truth" you believe in is finite and not infinite or eternal like the Real Truth of Jesus.
Do you have any particular number in mind? If so, when do you think that "number" will be reached since the Mercy of God is eternal?
God is obviously far more longsuffering than you believe He is since you imply His longsuffering, patience, compassion, mercy, etc will end one day. However its your choice to live in your finite "dream land" as long as you wish and deny the Truth that the Mercy of God is everlasting and His Truth abides forever to ALL generations, past present and future for all eternity which is the never ending future.
God promised Abraham a number of children which is infinite and cannot be counted. ( Gen 32:12) The only way to have an infinite number is to keep the population on this planet reproducing more and more people in a never ending cycle of Life. The earth abides for ever. ( Ecc 1:4 )
The state of the world was the same way in the beginning as it is in the end and both the beginning and the end are also eternal since God Himself IS the beginning and end. Jesus said the end would be the same as in the days of Noah and the world was no better back then than it is today. It wont be any better on the day you die either or the day anyone else dies no matter howmany million years into the future we can imagine this world to last. The bible does say the earth will last for ever, by the way. ( Psalm 78:69, Psalm 104:5, Psalm 119: 90, Ecc 1:4 )
Obviously every mans days on earth are numbered and every person past present and future only has one mortal lifetime to endure it but no man in the past present or future will escape the trial and tests and tribulations of Life in a mortal body. This mortality is our testing ground where we are to decide whom we will serve.

This world is not the kingdom of God but the kingdom of God is in this world in the sense that it is in all believers who are One with the Father in the same way Jesus is one with the Father. Jesus lived in the kingdom of God on earth in the bible stories in spite of the pain and rejection inflicted on Him by the world. He set an example of how His disciples can do likewise. We are not of this world and no matter what this world does to our outward man, they cannot harm or hurt the Spirit within the body.

Luke 10:19 Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.

The mercy of God is not eternal. Mercy is only needed when there is something needing Mercy to cover, as in Sin. God shall upon the final judgement make all things Good again. We shall have eternity with him and we shall no longer sin. When that day comes and all sins are judged or forgiven, there shall be no more need for mercy.

God is obviously far more longsuffering than you believe He is since you imply His longsuffering, patience, compassion, mercy, etc will end one day.

No i don't. I say Gods Need for these things will come to an end. When He restores all things.

However its your choice to live in your finite "dream land" as long as you wish and deny the Truth that the Mercy of God is everlasting and His Truth abides forever to ALL generations, past present and future for all eternity which is the never ending future.

Derogatory tags like "dream land" thrown upon another show a lack of longsuffering and love.

God promised Abraham a number of children which is infinite and cannot be counted. ( Gen 32:12) The only way to have an infinite number is to keep the population on this planet reproducing more and more people in a never ending cycle of Life. The earth abides for ever. ( Ecc 1:4 )

Revelation Reveals:

Revelation 6
9 When He opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of those who had been slain for the word of God and for the testimony which they held. 10 And they cried with a loud voice, saying, “How long, O Lord, holy and true, until You judge and avenge our blood on those who dwell on the earth?” 11 Then a white robe was given to each of them; and it was said to them that they should rest a little while longer, until both the number of their fellow servants and their brethren, who would be killed as they were, was completed.

The bible proclaims a New earth and a new heavens will be created. Your denial of this is very sad indeed.

Isaiah was given the prophecy of it.
Isaiah 65
17 “ For behold, I create new heavens and a new earth;
And the former shall not be remembered or come to mind.

Peter who was filled with the Holy Spirit also encouraged the saints to look forward to it.
2 Peter 3
10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens will pass away with a great noise, and the elements will melt with fervent heat; both the earth and the works that are in it will be burned up.[c] 11 Therefore, since all these things will be dissolved, what manner of persons ought you to be in holy conduct and godliness, 12 looking for and hastening the coming of the day of God, because of which the heavens will be dissolved, being on fire, and the elements will melt with fervent heat? 13 Nevertheless we, according to His promise, look for new heavens and a new earth in which righteousness dwells. Be Steadfast14 Therefore, beloved, looking forward to these things, be diligent to be found by Him in peace, without spot and blameless;

And John in the Book of Revelation revealed his vision of that day and how the earth would be changed.
Revelation 21
1 Now I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away. Also there was no more sea. 2 Then I, John, saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. 3 And I heard a loud voice from heaven saying, “Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people. God Himself will be with them and be their God. 4 And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away.”

This world is not the kingdom of God but the kingdom of God is in this world in the sense that it is in all believers who are One with the Father in the same way Jesus is one with the Father.

I do not deny this. But it is a Kingdom of Spirit both in existence and a Kingdom in waiting for the physical Kingdom as revealed by Scripture.

I hope one day you come to understand these things and stop short changing the Word of God. :)

Psalm 118:1 O give thanks unto the LORD; for [he is] good: because his mercy [endureth] for ever

The Word of God says His mercy endureth for ever. That means it is eternal. Adstar says His mercy is temporary and not eternal at all. Who should we believe... Adstar or the WORD of God? Don't be deceived by Adstar or anyone else who preaches the mercy of God is temporary.

Adstar said:
God makes eternal things which are always needed in eternity otherwise they would not be eternal or endure for ever would they?

Adstar said:
will choose their delusions, and will bring their fears upon them; because when I called, none did answer; when I spake, they did not hear: but they did evil before mine eyes, and chose [that] in which I delighted not.

2 Thess 2:11-12 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

You have no clue what I believe. I do not deny that God creates a new heaven and earth but I maintain he does this daily and will continue to do it daily for all eternity. The old passes away daily and is replaced by the new every second of every day as "yesterday" and all that is in it passes away and is replaced by "tomorrow" and all that is in it and we call it the eternal NOW.
The old is forever passing away and the new is forever taking its place. It happens simultaneously for all eternity.

I hope one day you come to understand these things and stop short changing the Word of God. :)
