Just as it is written: "Jacob I loved, but Esau I hated."=Romans 9:13
God is the Alpha and Omega=the Beginning and the End=God is outside Time!!
WHY?? Why would God love one baby and hate another before they were born??? Calvinist offer no answer!! Let me help you! God is outside time,God sees the beginning to the end of this age in the "now" thus God sees the life of all babies from start to end and knows which will choose to believe and which will love sin and evil and reject Him!!!

well I would guess a Calvinist would say Jacob was His choice, which is true. He told Jacob's mother before they were born the younger would rule the older, or something to that effect. so God chose. just as He chose Noah who was ten generations after Adam and He chose Abram who was ten generations after Noah. it is stated that Noah was perfect in his generation (don't quote me) perfect meaning fulfilled.

as far as God being outside of time, many would argue that eternity is endless time but the bible does mention the beginning. I'm sure eternity as in God inhabits it, has nothing to do with time. but I don't know enough to argue that point. God doesn't have to see the end, He makes a thing to an end. just as one would express a plan to make a house and then work to that end. its just that God can do it with the whole of creation.

read creation, God says and then its fulfilled, and sometimes its mentioned that He declares it good. and then the day is complete.

Same old error= many don't even try to understand why God loved Jacob but not Ebecause God already could see their intiore life from beginning to end in the now!!!

one should understand that revelation, especially in the case of the Lord God is to experience therefore to know. and people respond according to what they know. because they trust and believe what they know. the Lord God reveals Himself to who? and doesn't reveal Himself to who? if He chooses some one He reveals Himself to that person and they believe and know that they know. hence one who God loves. if He with holds Himself from some one that person will not know, and is one God hates.

if you seek the attention of one, and disregard the other, what are you doing?

Your eyes saw my unformed body; all the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be.

another convoluted op- hodge podge, mish mash.

Apparently I am not the only one that you don't like on these boards.

Haven't you ever heard the old saying, that if you don't have something nice to say, don't say anything at all?

The entire Bible is very much like a mirror...James 1:22-25...

I do not have to testify of the sinfulness of those who wax ugly in their dealings with people...it is evident to all.

you deny what I just told you they would tell you, but it doesn't meet your view or theory does it? God chose. He has the right to choose.

plus you don't get the God of Abraham Isaac and Jacob reasoning. Jacob represents the Spirit which his firsts like Pentecost, were the twelve. Jacob's name was changed to Israel and God refers to them as the Children of Israel, just as those born again are born of Spirit the Holy Spirit.

Jacob is the second of the same birth, not the first just as Jesus is referred to by Paul as the second Adam. Jacob is the second of the same birth. Jesus restored the Life Adam had before he ate of the tree and that life was:

Luk 3:38 Which was the son of Enos, which was the son of Seth, which was the son of Adam, which was the son of God.

hence of the same Life.

the second not the first is a theme through out, Abel the second son of Adam Isaac the second son of Abraham and Jacob the second son of Isaac.
