I expect a few crazed alt-right gunslingers and probably some paid-for Antifa posers in Maga hats, but not much else. Sane patriots won't be anywhere near D.C. because, contrary to the media's spin, we don't want trouble, and we don't promote violence.

That sounds about right to me as well. That, and if the military is out in force, it's not the smartest time to be making any moves.
The guilty consciences of all the Democrats and turncoat Republicans are behind all this angst about January 20. It will be a "Nothingburger", since a phony inauguration by a phony-president elect will take place. The chief justice of SCOTUS is also a phony.
Trump will not be there, and if all his supporters are smart THEY WILL BOYCOTT the phony inauguration. Boycotts are a very effective tool against tyranny. All patriots should boycott Washington, D.C. There are some in the state of Texas talking about secession.
