Need some help changing my perspective on men.

This describes me perfectly. I will not live with someone who is angry or harsh or bitter. I simply WILL NOT.

I totally understand. I think each situation is different. I lived separate from my husband for 6+yrs until our youngest son was diagnosed with cancer at age 15. In his first week of treatment after major surgery, my landlord decided to sell the house we rented and gave me 30 days to move. So ...out of state, couldn't pack my things, staying in a Ronald McDonald House with my son... and then, homeless. We had nowhere to go but back with my husband. So ....that changed pretty much everything.

Still, I know that God didn't just let us slip out of His hands. He used our son's strong faith to touch my husband ...and to this day, it is something that my husband can't get away from. And I am still here ....with my husband who has major issues. So I pray to have balance ....how to remain safe, while being the vessel God wants me to be. I can do my part, but it's not within my power to keep myself completely safe. I have to rely on God.

I've noticed that! ...but were it not for my fondness of female company I would have let them float off into the stratosphere ....or even beyond!

@FluffyYellowDuck Well, my wife says of the young men who drive their pick-up trucks aggressively on the freeway, that they are likely testosterone-charged...

Women are of course hormonally-geared differently, but I don't claim to be an expert.

I would hope not, but I can see how it could come off that way. I try to keep a balance and see it from both sides. I am just not doing a good job at that at the moment...

In spite of the past, you should stop thinking of yourself as a victim. If you've learned your lessons, then just move on. But at the same time, kindly examine your own self carefully. Many people do not have the necessary self-awareness that they should.

Have you been through what @FluffyYellowDuck has been through?

We all individually should seek strength before the Lord in the light of His Word prayerfully.

yeah i want to know that! yall ever have to give yourself a lymphatic massage in the morning so you don't stay puffy? that reminded me I need to get some dandelion tea. its supposed to be amazing for that

I used to go up a full size at certain times and had larger clothes just for those days.
