Let's Talk About LOVE

With Valentine's Day coming up this month, what does love mean to you. To me, love means putting somebody else's needs ahead of your needs and you enjoy being around that person, enjoy their company, and can't stop thinking about that person and you have the warmest feelings towards that person. When you love somebody, there are also sacrifices involved for that person, but not as big as the sacrifice that Jesus made for us on the cross. For this is my ultimate favorite verse about love as there's all different kinds of love,.. but none can compare to God's love for His children.

I remember an RE class taken my my headmaster when I was in grammar school. It was on the subject of love. And I remember him saying that 'Lurve' isn't the same as real love which is unconditional. I think there is too much of that fake lurve in the world today which contributes to many of its problems.

If you love goodness, then love is wanting what's good for someone. People that love evil, want whats evil for someone.
