As a spinoff thread to my LGBTQ thread there is something I need to know. Why do a lot of Christians treat members of the LGBTQ community and people who commit suicide as guilty of committing the unforgiveable sin? Newsflash! If either of those things was the unforgiveable sin Jesus would have come right out and said that it was but no the only unforgiveable sin is rejecting Christ and having an unrepentant heart until you die so I fail to understand why Christians automatically assume that if you're gay or you commit suicide you're going to Hell. Especially since you can bet that these people are already struggling enough as it is and a lot of them want help for it but a lot of the time they don't get it and hence why they take their own lives as sad as it is. :'(

I think people might be relating a person making themselves an enemy to the church of Jesus the Christ as entering into the unforgivable sin. And while not all LGBT people fall into this category, some who push their agenda clearly do, there is a push to remove God from schools and government. Most alarming is schools, including the pledge of allegiance. Perhaps people see this as entering into a fight against God as the ruler of the world and an attempt to deny him (denying the Holy Spirit) and shut him up.

Matthew 12:31-32

31 Wherefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men.

32 And whosoever speaketh a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but whosoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, neither in the world to come.

I really feel for gay people. They think Christians hate them. They probably think God hates them as well. I know people who are on the fence about christianity because of this. I really used to think they were born that way but since becoming a christian I have to believe God's word. There must be some choice in it. Society is really pushing to make homosexuality the norm, excusing the sin, emboldening them. Then we are considered the haters because we will not accept homosexuality as normal, we see it as in. It is frustrating when you are trying to help someone save their soul and they think it is just hate.

Then there are those horrible tares that go to soldiers funerals and scream "God hates fags" and say that the soldiers were killed because they fight for the freedoms of gay people. Disgusting.

Just curious, but why limit this to gay people, why not all sinners think they're hated? I'm trying to understand what you are saying.

Homosexuals think they were born gay and Christianity says they are not. So it is different then for say someone who steals. They can stop stealing as it is a choice but the gays think they cannot stop being gay as they think were born that way. So that sin is in a different category. They think we just hate them.

There is not a movement of thieves that demand we accept their stealing ways and they don’t have parades that say they have pride for their thieving ways. So why would thieves think we hate them? Does that make sense?

I see what you're saying of it (LGBTQ) all being pushed into your face and I hate that too, but automatically jumping to conclusions and just assuming that they're all trying to "preach it" at us is like automatically assuming that a black person is going to beat you up as only God is the true judge since He's the only one who can see our hearts.

I know, I'm disgusted by it too and that's exactly why I start topics like these.

Can you come and say this on my other thread if you haven't already?

So, How Does Everybody Feel About This? (Talks about sins that involve LGBTQ)

One bit of advice . The victim card plays very well and folks know that .
The fastest way to shut up a christain from speaking the truth one does not want to hear ,
is play the victim card . And boy it works .

Okay so umm,.. what does that have to do with this thread? The only time that LGBTQ people tend to play this card is when they're being bullied and receiving hate comments. In that sense they do become a victim whether those words are coming from a Christian or not.

Yeah this sounds like pushing the GBLT agenda thru sympathy to me.

Has anyone here ever witnessed to gays
I have . And beleive me , they put up such a victim card . specially when through doctrine you start to prove their error .
How to silence a voice and push an agenda , THEY KNOW very well .
And i am kind to everyone . everyone . But i am telling us they often do hyper play the victim card .
It gets pulled out when you start breaking through their defense with doctrines . And they cannot give an answer back .
AND often they have tried to use the new testament against me . But when i show very clearly
And they have no words , the victim card gets pulled out right fast . It does two things . the victim card
makes them seem just and the one who is simply helping them , seem like a monster . IT works well . Yall
if we love folks we speak truth . If not then allow them to be feel saved and die in their sin . MANY
gays go to church Folks . THEY just find a church that accepts the sin . AND we all better know that makes that church false .

Yeah this sounds like pushing the GBLT agenda thru sympathy to me.
Often the first line of defense you will hear is , I WAS BORN this way , GOD made me like this .
They try to even use science to back that up , as well as a false love version of God .
But here is the kicker . Even before i was drawn to Christ , even when i was a young teenager .
I knew the I was born this way , was a lie .
See , that was back in the eighties . And the lie they were born like this was really taking root into the world .
I remember scratching my head when i heard that .
WOULD anyone like to know why i was scratching my head in unbelief . Even though i was not yet a follower of Christ .
Because in my own family we have had some who are gay .
SO how did i know that this was a lie . Because as i said some within my own family are gay .
AND GUESS WHAT , if its genetic , IF it is the way we are born
HOW COME my IDENTICAL TWIN UNCLES , one was gay the other STRAIGHT . YEAH .
I knew this was a lie many many years ago . And i got identical twins all over my family
I myself am an identical triplet . SO how come some are gay and some are straight . I MEAN IDENTICAL TWINS and etc
ARE GENTICALLY IDENTICAL . yeah . exactly . This is a lie .

We should promote sound doctrine here on CB, real Christian doctrine. Perhaps you should explain how to bring a gay person to salvation without them feeling hated and while not promoting their gay sins.

Are you telling me that I'm promoting their sins? Cause I'm not and I've said that many different times before on here. Honestly I would love to be able to do that but I'm not a very good witness and I'm not exactly sure how to. Now I'm very sorry but this comment seems like a personal attack against me but perhaps you didn't mean for it to come out like that.

Take a look at it this way if you told a lie to somebody and apologized for it but yet they kept rubbing it in your face and harassing you about it wouldn't you feel hurt? Would you think that if the person who was doing that who claimed to be a Christian was representing Christ that well? Cause I don't think that it represents Him when we show that same attitude towards people of the LGBTQ community and that it makes us any better than we are. Bullying and hates are sins too.

God loves everyone.
He sent His Son for all of us.

Being homosexual is not to be found committing the unpardonable sin.
And being extremely mentally ill, to the point where you allow yourself to be castrated and socially redefined, as "Trans", is not to have committed the unpardonable sin.
In both cases, this is just extreme spiritual darkness, and in many cases demonic oppression that is so powerful, that you see the result as their lifestyle.

So, Like i told you last time....
Gays do not reproduce, they RECRUIT.....so, you can't allow them into your church as they will try it.
Its what they do. They never stop.
Have you ever heard the song "Constant Craving" by the lesbian KD Lang? This song's pov is 2 fold.....its her explaining her constant craving for new lesbian partners, and its also her constant craving to "turn", or "recruit", a "Straight" or heterosexual, into their deviant sexuality.
"constant CRAVING".= to do it.

So, thats what you are dealing with when you are dealing with the Homosexual spirit. Its a spiritual infection, and it infects by recruiting.
This is why God stopped it 2x in the Old Testament..... First time by drowning and 2nd time by burning....As there is no other way, at that time, to stop the spread of this spiritual infection that plays out as sexual perversion.

Recruiting is their #1 priority, and this is not going to change, so, you have to guard yourself if you feel anything but disgust regarding their deviant sexually, and you have to guard your children.

Today, there is the delivering power of the blood of Jesus, and this can break the chains of any spiritual bondage, including homosexuality.

I'm not attacking you. "bullying"... who's doing that? But I'm not gay, my ex-wife was for a time and she agreed with @amigo de christo on the subject. I said my concerns and probably will leave it at that now.
