I don't think there's much truth to that. There's a lot of 'do nots' in the NT....
26“In your anger do not sin” d : Do not let the sun go down while you are still angry, 27and do not give the devil a foothold. 28Anyone who has been stealing must steal no longer, but must work, doing something useful with their own hands, that they may have something to share with those in need.
29Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen. 30And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, with whom you were sealed for the day of redemption. Ephesians 4:26-30
That's in the law. That's not a new standard of righteousness for us in this new covenant...
4“If you come across your enemy’s ox or donkey wandering off, be sure to return it. 5If you see the donkey of someone who hates you fallen down under its load, do not leave it there; be sure you help them with it.
Exodus 23:4-5
No, I was referring to the hostility of the homosexual community. The bondage to homosexuality is very powerful. When it gets entrenched in society they get very militant about it. Even murderous.
