I've got an issue with him,.. he's spreading lies about me!!!
People have lied about me here, I just remain myself and don't let it affect me. I'm going to watch a movie, but I'll check in from time to time :)

Yeah good idea as if this was a ranting or drama queen thread when all it is is sharing my feelings which isn't a crime or a sin and there's absolutely nothing wrong with what I'm doing whatsoever. And to think I was actually trying to be nice to him and be his friend but now I don't see that ever happening. I'm reporting his butt right now.

but when you constantly have people judging you that have absolutely no business judging you in the first place

Hello April,

The only judge we need fear is Jesus... And I am confident that He is merciful to the meek and humble of heart..

My advice? Worry less about about others judgments and worry more about His!

For as you judge, so will you be judged, and the measure with which you measure will be measured out to you.

Peace be with you!

Thank you I'm starting to feel a bit better now,.. just reported the troll so I will have staff deal with him now as I should have done all along. I know he's only trying to get me upset and I really shouldn't let him but it's really hard sometimes. :(

And that is because a lot of you on here have been really judgmental with me and pushy. I've run into people like this in real life and it's caused me to backslide and turn into somebody that I don't really like. I am really afraid of being turned of Christianity again because I honestly don't want that to happen, but when you constantly have people judging you that have absolutely no business judging you in the first place you tend to want to run away. :( Currently watching this video to remind me to not let anybody come in-between me and Jesus. :) @Devin Wintch, @lforrest, @Heart2Soul, @JohnDB,.. you guys should see this thread.

I think that we ultimately get to decide who we will put ourselves under. Yes, He is the Highest Authority, but we also will be under human authority.

As far as the faith goes, we have the Epistles which are letters that establish the authoritative structure in the household of faith.

While this forum isn't quite the same as joining a local fellowship, there are rules in place, which we all agreed to. And, as professing belief in the Messiah, there are some general things that we may hold each other accountable to. Whether or not we are receptive to such exhortation depends on the level of humility and maturity we have.

There is wisdom in making it a lot easier by not putting oneself out there so much.

In other words @April_Rose ...maybe just be more temperate, so you don't experience such turbulence?

I'd say the main thing about Christianity is relationships. We will see things differently and have disagreements, and corporate growth should come from us hashing it out.

He's only 21...treat him as a younger sibling and remember to have compassion.

I get what you are saying. I’m not sure how or why I ended up there yesterday but I clicked on some news feed. It is not often I read the comments but I did last night. Most of the comments were about God. It begin with those who don’t believe in God and then “Christians” joined in and it turned really ugly. Back and forth of “us Christians are going to Heaven” but “you all are going to hell”. Can’t sum up the comments very well but there was name calling and barbs thrown around, about as much as in here between supposed brothers. There was one screen name who kept questioning God as merciful. Pointing out the lack of mercy in the comments directed back at them. Then they responded to someone attacking them, asking, “why would I think I could ever get mercy. What makes you think you ever could from a God who flooded everything in a temper tantrum.” On and on they kept bashing and mocking mercy as nonexistent, and the most unbelievable thing in this world. calling God a monster. Makes me at least consider: does my testimony present God as unmerciful? How can you persuade someone God is merciful, when everything coming out declares He is not. Maybe that doesn’t make sense...but by reading the comments there, I feel about the same as you. But then there is that which is according to men in the flesh. But does that make what they say truth?
