Also another thing is that maybe conspiracy theories shouldn't be allowed.

But we need to be on gaurd . For who decides what is a conspiracy theory . My advice is we need
to not trust the mainstream news .
I can make my point without being mean . I always warn folks do not take that shot .
Because i have actually did research . real reserach . And its not the short term effects that bother me .
ITS what is gonna happen in the long term . This is not a conspiracy . THEY have done
these kind of trials before on animals . AND it did not bode well in the long term . SHORT term was great
not so much with long term . AND we skipped animal trials this round . Do not take that shot .
They even admit its experimental .

And they are!! Have you not seen all the anti-vaccine comments in the current event section? Do you even read them anymore? Devin, John, and me are all getting beat up because we want to get the shot!! Actually John already did I think but still,.. it's bullying but yet it's allowed somehow. :/

Well the forum I'm thinking of leans towards liberal. Which I didn't like. I don't think you can balance that, it must be an open discussion allowing all Christians.

I will but do you find it right that some people are getting aggressive with it and it's not what they're saying but it's how they're saying it that makes it so mean. Bullying, goading, and flaming is against the rules and I don't see how that's any different from what they're doing.

Aside from the shot , cause that is not a salvational issue . WE need more men to stand up
and start pushing out the truth . case in point , read acts , read pauls letters , read james letters , read peters letters .
Our generation is huge on silencing any voice that would correct .
The vaccine will prove to be dangerous in time . But that is not what concerns me . not really .
SOULS concern me . And we got many folks that are too in love with this world and need some serious correction .

Disagreement isnt trolling, Goading or flaming. It is possible to feel offended after reading someone's post and for them to have done nothing against the rules.

I get the same thing in theology forums from a certain member and one other member. They don't allow you to have your say without countering everything you say.

What I found in these types of situations is to stop posting so that they have nothing to respond to. Does that make sense or help in anyway? I'm unsure.

I use the "Ignore" option sometimes when it becomes clear to me that someone doesn't what to have decent discussion.

If somebody who has already gotten the shot starts talking about it and then another person starts off their post by saying that "you refuse to listen to them" and starts posting a whole entire blog of propaganda conspiracy crud that nobody cares about or is reading anyways,.. wouldn't that come off as way too pushy and possibly fit underneath the goading category?

Sharing that you got the shot is tacit approval for the shot. This opens the floor for people to criticise that decision with whatever evidence they can muster against the shot. The goal being to convince others not to get the shot.

As an extream example, Imagine what would happen if someone joined the forum to annonce how happy they are that they got an abortion.

You know have you noticed that @Josho has liked my OP? That means he probably agrees with me about how whack and messed up this is too. People should be able to freely post about getting the shot without getting attacked and if @JohnDB was still an admin and in charge of this website he wouldn't allow this to happen because that's not what a Christian forum is supposed to be like of constantly walking on eggshells!!

I am actually in favour of free speech, it’s the rudeness that I dislike. The conspiracy theories can make you assess your own position on things that are going on, so it can help to weigh things up and affirm where you stand on certain issues.
If you control too much you just end up with so many things that are not to be discussed , and that is what is happening in the world right now. The trick is to not be offended , which is what has led to the worldly approach to speech beginning to be censured.

I don't know if you all had, or remember those large wooden pull out bench seats (bleachers) in the school auditorium or multi-purpose rooms?
But in the third or fourth grade I was sitting on some and turned to talk to a buddy behind me and slightly touched a little girl in front of me with my foot and she let out a squawk that echoed in the auditorium.

I found that humorous so I touched her again. And every time the principal went to say anything I would touch her again, and tried not to laugh. Whinners can be fun. But it usually does not get you anywhere.

For someone "an antivaxxer" to push and ridicule those that chose to be vaccinated is both rude and stupid....Oppps! Did I call them stupid! So you write their name down --- and write Stupid next it.

The only thing I have said, is to give it all a little time to see what happens.....to other people. LOL
I can say that I am not going to get the vaccine....and I can sight all kinds of reasons....but the bottom-line is that I don't do vaccinations. I have not been vaccinated for anything since boot camp. So I don't really count.

Yeah you're a lot different than I thought you were. That's the attitude of somebody that is for a communist country. Not saying you are, but that's not what living in America is all about and I am currently really upset and disappointed in you at the moment so I think it would be wise not to speak to each other for awhile.

Censorship or silencing the opposition, is what communists want. America used to be summarized by, "I may not agree with what you have to say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it." And God is more concerned with building up the saints than in either of these IMO.

And building up the saints takes care, if there is not edifying reason to argue we should avoid it to not offend unnecessarily. But if we love someone we will Not let them continue in error without a fight. And then we have people teaching error, and we can't let them do that without a fight either. But how much we oppose them depends upon the repercussions of their teaching. So yes, eggshells.
