Who is "original" here when this forum was created?

A fun question is who here are originals yet when this forum was created in the early 2000's (I believe it was then but time flies)? The owner of this board originally was "Denver", a nice guy and too nice for his own good (lol) as he was too forgiving when disputes would take place, creating a bit of discord. A woman who helped him create this board became a good forum pal of mine, as we held similar views, and later on when this board was under different ownership, she created her own forum and I and a few from here with similar ideas migrated over to there (I invited many there). I think that was over ten years ago. I visit here from time to time under this handle but I used tim_from_pa then too.

I would have been too young back then anyways even if I knew this board existed because unless it was around 2003 I would have been ten, eleven, and twelve lol

I have been a member here since January of 2008. I don't know of anyone still active today who was a member before that. I only stayed active for a short time initially but I never quit the forum. I returned several years ago at the instigation of @Angelina and have been a regular here since then. I don't remember ever meeting the forum originator, who I believe was @HammerStone who according to his profile started here in February of 2006. All of the other moderators and the current administrator @lforrest according to their profiles started much later than that.

Hmmmm. Fishing pole. I don't remember that one. I had several until recently settling on ol' Sir Isaac here. It's possible you meant the sundial as I am a gnomonist, too.

I was in my early forties then. That's close to twenty years so.... ya know, maybe I',m gettin' a bit old, too. This board may have been closer to MID-2000's but early to mid we are just mincing 2-3 years.

Yes, Denver was Hammerstone now that you mentioned it. I remember the others as well.
