  • False teachers are “waterless springs” who sneak in with smooth words, twist the gospel, and promise freedom while living as slaves of corruption ~2 Peter 2:1, 17, 19. Hold the line by testing everything by Scripture and standing firm in the truth until the end ~1 Thessalonians 5:21, ~Matthew 24:13.
People talk about “having a relationship with the Maker,” but that only means something if it is based on His Word. If you want to know where you stand with God, trust what the Bible says, not your own feelings. “Your word is truth” ~John 17:17. A real relationship with God is built on believing what He has spoken, not what we imagine.
Faith isn’t proven when the road is smooth, it’s proven when you keep walking after the road disappears.
The Bible says we are accountable to God and His Word, not our own opinion. ‘Each of us will give account of himself to God’ ~Romans 14:12. The same Word also commands believers to correct and exhort one another ~Hebrews 3:13; ~Galatians 6:1. Accountability is not self made. God defines it, and we follow what He says.
You know you’re being deceived when your beliefs no longer line up with Scripture, and you stop letting the Word of God correct you.
Some people aren’t seeking truth; they’re draining it. Don’t let energy takers steal your time or your peace. Stay focused on God’s Word and keep your discernment sharp. Know the truth of the Bible, not man's opinion.
God loves you, but He is also holy. His love does not cancel His justice; His justice was satisfied at the cross. Only those who believe and turn to Christ can say with confidence, “There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus” (Romans 8:1).
Yes, God loves you. But His love calls you to repent, not remain in sin. The cross proves God’s love. Repentance proves you’ve received it.
Jesus will return. Not as a baby in a manger, but as the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. The same Jesus who ascended into heaven will come again in power and glory to judge the living and the dead. “For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trumpet of God” (1 Thessalonians 4:16).
Don’t get caught polishing trophies that won’t make it into eternity. Count it loss. Gain Christ. And then press on. Because the finish line is real, the prize is eternal, and the Savior is waiting at the end.
The missing word in today’s gospel is repentance; without it, Jesus said, you will perish (Luke 13:3).
"God never hurries. There are no deadlines against which He must work. Only to know this is to quiet our spirits and relax our nerves." ~ A.W. Tozer

“The world will not be destroyed by those who do evil, but by those who watch them without doing anything.”

    ― Albert Einstein
"The deadliest wolves don’t stand outside the Church; they preach from its pulpits."
    ~ David Campbell
“The Christian holds on to Jesus for dear life, and we know that He is able to keep us from falling and to present us faultless before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy (Jude 1:24).” ~ Ray Comfort
